Guest House (attached apartment) on the side of a historic home in a gated community in Pasadena just a few blocks from the famed Rose Bowl and Old Town Pasadena with word class restaurants and shops.

Enjoy al fresco dining on the private wooden deck off the entrance of the apartment surrounded by beautiful trees.

This space is very peaceful.

FYI, This is an attached guest suite of a home. We live in the main house and there’s a chance you could hear us. But you won’t see us :)

No parties or loud music & NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND.

Please treat this like your own home because this is our home. 🙏🏻

I would be wary of this apartment if you have any issues with a lot of stairs. There are 35 plus stairs up and down to get to the apartment from the street. There are also steps inside the apartment. This is not mentioned in the listing. Also, the steps outside are not well lit at night. The owner was responsive to any questions I had.

The house, view, and neighborhood are beautiful. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There are up and down stairs to get to the apartment which were not a barrier for us but could be for others.

What a gem that we found in this place!! My very dear friend and I had an incredible weekend staying in this darling apartment. We came into town to see a bucket list show at the Rose Bowl, and this location was absolutely perfect. We were able to walk to and from the venue saving us hours in traffic. The space is calming, lovely, and had all the things we needed and more. Was happy to have been able to meet the owners toward the end of our stay, they are so kind and made sure we had a fantastic stay. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Unique Setting

We picked this property because it was close to a family member we were visiting. It has a unique and charming location in a gated, older, private development of large homes. We recommend arriving while it is still light outside, because the many steps down and up to the unit are not all well lit.

Beautiful apartment with a treehouse view

We loved our stay at Jeffery and Linda‘s apartment. The space had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. The views from the large windows were incomparable, particularly Thursday morning when we spotted snow on the nearby mountain. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Hidden Gem

Tucked away via private drives is a cozy apartment where we spent five nights. We had everything we needed here. Primarily used for coffee in the AM and sleeping at night, the apartment served us well. We were gone most of the daytime. The shower was wonderful! Would recommend having a rental car to transport yourselves, rather than Uber etc.

Great location and very cozy!

Great location near Old Pasadena and beautiful views of the mountains. The hosts were very helpful and the property was cozy and comfy for a good night sleep and wine on the couch.

Charming with quirks

We recently stayed in this charming newly renovated apartment that felt like a cozy tree house getaway! Nestled in a historic home, it was full of character around every corner. We especially loved the big windows with beautiful views of the trees, letting us soak in the scenery and enjoy a refreshing breeze. The cozy kitchen, though small, kept the cook part of the conversation, making family meals enjoyable. We ate in every night and found the bed comfortable with soft sheets that made winding down easy. The beautiful shower was also a fantastic plus. There were a few quirks to note. The stove had a cooktop with only one working burner (there are only two to begin with), though I’m sure this will be addressed before the next guest. There’s no dishwasher, so we found ourselves hand-washing dishes after each meal, which wasn’t a big issue for us. Additionally, the apartment has quite a few stairs, so packing light is definitely helpful. The main drawback, and likely the reason we might not stay here again, was the noise from the main house. While you have your own private space, sounds from above started around 7:30 each morning, with footsteps and other activity that were noticeable. We’d hoped to sleep in on our getaway, so the early morning noise was a bit disruptive for us. Overall, though, the charm and beautiful setting made it a lovely place to stay. It could be a great fit for early risers or anyone who appreciates a unique, character-filled space!

Beautiful comfortable home

This historic house is gorgeous. We loved our stay. Communication with the owner was excellent. They ensured we made it safely into the apartment and if there were any issues to let them k ow right away. Beautiful neighborhood and close to where our plans were. Thank you!

Perfect for our trip

This property was perfect for our time volunteering on San Diego Zoo Rose Parade float. It is equal distance between the Rose Bowl and Old Town Pasadena so we could walk everywhere. The host was very responsive answering questions. The only negative was all the stairs.

Special Spot in Pasedena

This is a delightful spot if staying in Pasedena and an especially convenient location if attending an event at Rose Bowl Stadium. My husband and I enjoyed the beauty, quiet, remote feel, and lush greenery of the hillside neighborhood. Especially enjoyed all the fragrant lavender! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Owner was very helpful and responsive to questions regarding the area. We walked to and from Rose Bowl Stadium. Old Pasedena is just a short 5 minute drive away. Easy drive to The Huntington Botanical Gardens which we highly recommend.

Excellent hosts

They make it easy to stay in a separate apartment that is attached to the main house. Everything you need is provided for you. They were easy to communicate with and answered all my questions quickly. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful

The apartment is in a beautiful residential location surrounded by trees and view of the mountains. There are steps down and up to access the well furnished, lovingly restored comfortable, and spotless guest house/ apartment. The hosts communicated well (even creating a video of how to get up to the apartment). We met the delightful hosts when they stopped by to drop off a bottle of wine and a few other items and we're happy they did. We are glad we chose this property.

Great Spot!

We had a wonderful visit at this location. We were able to walk to the Rose Bowl for a UCLA football game. The guest house was clean, beautiful, & cozy. Jeffery was a great host & was available when needed. 5/5!
