Renovated Lakefront - Hot Tub - Beach - Deck

Our family home sits on Swinging Bridge Reservoir. The outdoor space is amazing including a massive deck with outdoor kitchen/BBQ, a new hot tub, Peloton spin bike, level yard, beach with sand, driveway, and dock.

The interior is in good condition throughout. There are technically 5 bedrooms and another room with several beds. There is also a sofa bed in the lower level. There is strong WIFI throughout through Google Mesh Network.

There are three bathrooms.

The kitchen is open to the living room and dining area. It is updated with newer stainless appliances.

There is a lower level that has a play area/TV room along with 2 of the 5 bedrooms.

There is also a lower deck with an outdoor shower.

Great for large groups

I had a wonderful stay at Dave’s lake house! It was perfect for a large group with multiple families and kids. The view of the lake is amazing! Kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to cook as well. We definitely had a great stay!

Beautiful House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dave's property. The house was beautiful, clean, and very easy to find and access. We had an amazing time and really enjoyed the Hot tub.

Perfect House for a large family vacation!

A few hiccops, but Dave worked to make sure that our stay was everything we hoped for. The Reservoir is more like a large lake perfect for tubing, skiing and kayaking! Would go back to this property!

End of Summer Famiky Reunion

Great large house on the best part of the lake for water sports. We enjoyed kayaking, sailing (our own boat), lots of swimming and cooking. The outdoor kitchen and deck make things easy for large groups. I would highly recommend this lake house!

Family winter getaway

We loved this house! There was a big group of us, with lots of kids and we never felt like we were one on top of another. The view is amazing. The kids, and adults had a great time playing in all the snow. This house made us want to have a lot more family gatherings!

Milestone Reunion

We were 7 women traveling from all over to celebrate! The property is fantastic and exceeded any expectations. Location and lakefront were ideal. Everything was very clean and well appointed. We had everything we could possibly need. Our contact responded immediately to any questions and was super friendly! I recommend this property 110%!

50th birthday celebration

This house was exactly what I was looking for to rent for my husband’s 50th birthday celebration. We had friends come up from the city and it was the perfect location for everyone to hang out. It was great for all the kids too because they could play downstairs while the adults could hang out up stairs.The accommodations were great! Even though we were there in the winter and the lake was frozen it was still a beautiful view and the hot tub was excellent. I’d love to come back and rent it in the Summer to use be able to take advantage of the lake and out door ammentities. Communication was great with the owner. Highly recommend this lake house paradise!

Great little getaway

Great location right on the lake! Really nice wide beach and dock. Got to use the kayaks a little bit, the water was rough due to the weather the first couple of days. The house was great, had everything that we needed. Lots of beds and space for all of us, very clean, bedding was super clean and comfortable, loved that it had a hot tub. We would have been lost without it. The weather unfortunately didn't cooperate with us it was cold the first couple of days and warm the second half but blue green algae bloom in the lake prevented us from enjoying it! Plenty of beach towels. Loved that there was a fresh hand soap at each sink and the new sponge and dish detergent in the kitchen, awesome blender for making pina coladas.. Outdoor kitchen was great, we grilled and used the refrigerator out there. We would definitely love to come back again. Just two minor suggestions to the homeowners if they could maybe offer a few more larger serving dishes for family style meals and the addition of a foosball table or something similar downstairs would be a plus! Thanks for a really special family trip!

Beautiful setting

My family of 12 had a fantastic stay at this property. The housing was actually better then described. The pluses of the amenities of having a full-sized washer and dryer (with detergent), beach towels (at least a dozen and a half), an outdoor shower with hot water as well as a stocked kitchen and grilling area. The indoor accommodations made it easy to do group dinners and activities with each of the family groups able to also have privacy. The outdoor view from the deck with evening sunsets on the lake were magnificent. Having 4 children 8 years to 2 yrs. we had no concerns for safety with the water access due to the beached area. We enjoyed hours of swimming, fishing, kayaking (a very easy relaxing ride across the lake and to the peninsula), paddleboarding and just lounging on our rafts. Our idea of a family vacation is one that is low keyed and relaxing. We had our goal met with the house in a quite area. Although it is a motorboat lake there are marked wake zones and overall minimal boat traffic. Dave was easy to contact, timely and receptive to all questions. We will definitely be planning a return vacation for next year. Lisa

Beautiful Location

Overall our group of 6 enjoyed this home. Owner(Dave) was very responsive as the water pump at arrival did not work. Since we requested an early checkin this was not a problem since Dave had someone there fairly quickly. The property manger arrived to fix issue and he said he'd make sure we get a firewood delivery(We would pay). It never showed. The downstairs sliding glass door was jammed shut and unable to open, we reported and the repair man didn't show up until we were leaving 4 days later. This was a problem for the folks that stayed down there because each time they wanted to go out they had to go up through the house. The hot-tub could've used some TLC as it needed to be scrubbed the first time it was open and could've used some chemicals. Considering the cleaning cost and the overall cost of this location is high, we expected a better experience and a level of clean. We asked to use the smoker outside as long as we cleaned it. We used it however it was a mess but we cleaned it after use. After all that we still managed to have a great time bonding with friends at this home. Dave seemed to be a very nice fella and we wish him the best. I'd be happy to speak with him again if he wanted to speak about this. Our stay exceeded our expectations! Everything in the house was immaculate and all of the amenities were high quality and a joy to use. Dave was extremely responsive and easy going. This house has everything you could want in a lake house getaway.

Family vacation

We had a truly amazing experience at this lake house. There was plenty to do for all ages between enjoying the hot tub, playing with the beach sand, kayaking, swimming in the lake and just lounging on the deck with its beautiful views! The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the entire home was meticulously clean. Thank you for sharing your home!

Amazing lake house

Had a week family stay at the house and have nothing but a good experience. Having the outdoor kitchen made the sunny weather extra enjoyable. The hot tub was awesome to relax at night. Dave was quick with his responses and was very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Celebrating 75th bday

Our family of 9 adults and 5 kids (12-1) had plenty of space and bedrooms. The kitchen was spacious and the outside area fantastic with lots of kid's vehicles supplied by the owners (tricycles, training bikes, skooters). So our grandkids had a great time. They explored the water and the views of the reservoir were also wonderful. The beds were comfortable and all enjoyed their bedrooms. there were bunk beds in one bedroom that were a treat for one of our families. Overall, a great place to stay for a large family gathering. There is ample outside space and play toys to make it fun for all. Dave, our host, was available and very helpful in responding to our questions very quickly. Thanks. The listing was accurate and allowed us to plan well for our gathering.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

My friends and I just spent a long weekend at this house and had a fantastic time. The house and the property are beautiful and well stocked with amenities. The central heat worked great during particularly cold weather if you're looking to visit in the winter. Looking over the frozen lake from the hot tub was gorgeous and I'm sure we'd get a lot more use out of the impressive deck in the summer as well. Dave was an especially responsive host if we had any issues or questions and we'd definitely recommend this place to others.
