Historic Downtown New Orleans Loft 2 Minute Walk to French Quarter 2A

Beautiful Boutique New Orleans Loft Apartment, historically renovated in the heart of the Central Business District and New Orleans. This location is on Magazine Street just one block from Canal Street which separates the French Quarter and the Central Business District. Landmarks nearby are the Convention Center, Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street, Saint Charles Avenue, Harrahs Casino. The owners are local, check us out, we would love to have you! This location has 2 queen beds.

We get our towels from a linen company. Sometimes the towels might have blotches (i.e., bleach stains, burn marks, or tears). Our housekeeping does their best to ensure there are no hairs in the towels, but if one is found, it's likely from our housekeeping staff. We strive for this to never happen. If you're not satisfied with the linens, please let us know and weā€™ll gladly swap them out for you. Please make sure to book for the correct number of guests, as linens are prepared accordingly.

Really good stay and close to everything !

It was similar to a hotel stay except it was like a studio apt it was very clean and nice for the time I stayed there would highly recommend wouldā€™ve even come back to book here but it was already booked!

Great location and amazing stay

This location is great for anyone who wants to stay walking distance to the French Quarter. 2 beds and pull out couch was great for me and my 2 friends. Host was responsive with all questions and the key pad made check in super easy. Would recommend

Great Location, Great Host

This place met our needs: safe neighborhood, with all of NOLAā€™s places of interest and streetcars within short walking distance. No street noise (huge for me). Strong A/C. Very comfortable beds. Genesis is an incredible host, very quick to respond literally anytime (even dealing immediately with noisy upstairs renters during quiet hours in the middle of the night).The only cons for me (other than the aforementioned renters) are some cosmetic issues as well a few amenities missing (like no hangers in the closet) that would have helped us feel more at home. Otherwise, a great place to stay for the price!

Absolutely perfect!

This property was everything we could have hoped for and more! It was located within walking distance of everything we needed! During the crazy NOLA snow storm of January 2025, the hosts were very responsive to any questions we had! We never lost hot water and we were within walking distance of the cutest corner store! My wife and I plan on visiting again and we will absolutely stay here again! Much much better than a hotel!

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway

We came down for a football game and this property is great as the location is 2 blocks from the casino. The building is very well light up. Accommodating to all needs. Property owner very responsive to any and all questions I had. It's very well maintained. The only downside is I couldn't stay longer. We be using the property next time I'm down in Nola for another Saints game.

Great location

Genesis is a great host. She was provided detailed information prior to our arrival and checked in multiple times during our stay. The property is clean an well maintained. Close enough to all the night life but far enough away from the crowds. Iā€™d definitely visit again!

Well located, clean

This small property is very well located in the middle of things we wanted to see and do in New Olreans. Manageable walks took us to the WWII Museum, the French Quarter, and a streetcar took us to Garden District.You are on your own to find and pay for parking.The electrical outlets are not next to beds.The bathroom has little room for two peopleā€™s toiletries.Itā€™s not a room with a view.It is as advertised and was a good place to stay.

My friends stayed here for Mardi Gras and We really enjoyed our stay here. It was actually more spacious than we assumed from the pictures. It was clean, very convenient location, and easily accessible. I will be returning in the near future!

Perfect location

Very easy walk to bourbon street, French quarter, Jackson square, shopping, restaurants. We parked our car and never moved it until we left to come home. But just off the French quarter enough that we slept well, no noise. AC was COLD which is great in south Louisiana in May. Very clean, comfortable beds. Excellent communication and easy check in. We visit NOLA at least once a year, would stay again.

The room was clean, in a great location for walking to the French quarter, near anything you need, safe and the owner Genesis, was great to deal with. She made everything nice and easy and was very quick with all communications. Highly recommend!!

Everything about this place was great! The only thing is that we thought there would be free parking based on how this was posted on vrbo but itā€™s not. Parking is available but you have to pay. You have to pay to park at the meters or get premium parking. The meters only charge you for parking from 8am-7pm Monday-Saturday which is nice. But parking is hard to find in general. Overall great, just know that there is not a designated free parking spot just for you. But this was such a reasonably priced place to stay, we did not mind paying for the parking.

With a few minor things changed, the place would have gotten a higher rating. Needs new rugs, paint and shower head. AC works great but has a moldy, grassy smell. Like the place but would not stay again unless updated a bit.

This property is in a great location to enjoy New Orleans, Bourbon St or Convention Center. We actually stayed at this property 2 nights precruise and 1 night postcruise. Initially, there was no bedding for the pullout sleeper. After several back and forths with property manager, he finally agreed there were no linens in the room and brought us them. The 2 queen beds need better mattresses. Awful nights sleep. Very average lodging but because clean, safe and location is great would consider again only for 1 night stay.

My husband and I drove 7 hours to this place, only stayed two hours and left. Hereā€™s why: instructions for the place was sent when I booked it. Everything was wrong, room code, internet password, parking conditions. I printed them out and headed to the apartment the day of the booking. On the way there, while I was driving the host messaged me the correct information but because I was driving, I did not have a chance to read it. I was under the impression the information I had that was printed out was correct. When I got there, I had issues from the wrong information obviously, and the host replied like I was an idiot and bothering him. On top of that, there was a very large group above us that was extremely loud, the was what looked like a mouse hole in the bathroom and the shower looked too disgusting to use. We left, and when we left (only a few hours of working on the laptop) I told the host we left, turned off all the lights, touched nothing and that he doesnā€™t even have to clean the apartment. At 12:30 am he messages me to check the water running someone had left the water on in the building. At this point Iā€™m really angry. I just asked him if he reads his messages at all. Iā€™m on the road, on Friday night, dangerously avoiding drunks, because of this host and had to drive 14 hours in one day. I have stayed at many personal rented out places and this has been the worst experience. All my experiences of renting personal places have been positive and wonderful until now.
