We had a perfect time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views. Brian was super helpful making sure we had the best directions to get there and everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The lodge is comfortable and spacious with a ton of games, inside and outside. You canā€™t beat the sunsets here!

Our host was very welcoming and the cabin had everything we could have needed during our stay! There was plenty of room for the ten of us and we had a wonderful time making use of all the fun things offered inside and outdoors.

The boys trip

We brought our grandsons with us and had a great time together. This is a very fun place with lots of things to do as a family. Beautiful grounds. Lots of space and everything we needed for a relaxing time with family.

Awesome lodge, wonderful host!!

We loved our stay and wish we could've stayed longer. It was the PERFECT place for our my family, friends and kids. From the games indoors, outdoors, fish pond, etc to the beautiful serene landscape we got to enjoy. . There was no lack of fun activities available to us. That was so appreciated! The animals nearby were a treat to visit with and my dogs loved the grass to play in. The host was so kind and humble. Couldn't ask for a better stay. :)

Plenty to do on the property

The location and directions were great. There were a lot of outdoor activities to do as well as a play station which our children took advantage of. All in all a great experience!

The most peaceful and the best view of the mountains and the sunrise and sunset. Clean and very spacious. Charming place for a quiet getaway. The young qdts stayed off the phones and actually played outside and actually played board games when it rained. We had the best time ever.

Weekend and state parks

The owner was nice and shared his goats, pig and cats with us if we wanted only and kids loved the animals. It was a very rainy weekend but the gravel roads (about 1.25 miles were able to be driven). Kids enjoyed the stocked pond as it stopped raining one evening enough to take our 6 and 4 and 2 year olds to the pond to fish. Each caught and released several small fish. For what we were looking for and the 7 of us it was an enjoyable time.

Wedding trip

Spring Break Getaway

We stayed here for spring break to use for hiking in Arkansas and Oklahoma. The house and property were beautiful, and the owner was very accommodating. He let us interact with the animals and ensured we had a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a wonderful getaway in Northern Arkansas

Great place for a family retreat / reunion

our group of 9 older adults had a wonderful time at Brianā€™s place. 5 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. 2 kitchen areas. Plenty of games, places for puzzling, a big dining table so that we could all eat together, good beds, private. Iā€™d recommend to anyone with a group thatā€™d like some peace and privacy in a beautiful place with a very friendly and helpful landlord. Thanks Brian!

Two-family long weekend

We had such an enjoyable time at Brianā€™s place! It was a perfect halfway meeting point for our two families. We had 4 adults, 6 teens/preteens, and 2 dogs and everyone fit very comfortably. We loved the pool table! And having two kitchens was super handy for storing food and cooking meals for 10 people. It was cold so we didnā€™t get to do much outside, but the property is spacious with beautiful views. We really hope to return at a warmer time! Brian was an excellent host, very communicative and responsive to anything we needed. He even brought out his goats and pig for us to see and the kids to feed. All in all, an excellent stay! We canā€™t wait to come back!

Perfect Location

This place is amazing! The host is incredibly kind and makes sure you know exactly where to go. The location is great, leaving you feeling as though you're away from the hubbub of life but still only 30 minutes from Fayetteville. I highly recommend this property for your family vacation!

Great for families

Great outside area and games for family time together. Beautiful view of the sunset and the night stars. Brian was very helpful and accommodating when we had some unexpected changes. We would definitely come back here.

Close to State Parks

Great property close to Lake Fort Smith State Park and Devil's Den State Park. We came for fall foliage and hiking. The foliage was late this year, so it was just okay, but we thoroughly enjoyed the hiking. The owner shares a lot of information and makes a point to ensure guests feel welcome. We enjoyed meeting the goats and pet pig, Penelope. There are tons of fun extras in/around the lodge (pool table, foosball, pond with catfish, porch swings, etc.) and the living spaces are spacious. A couple of the bedrooms were a little tight, but we were happy to have the larger beds, so we made it work. While there is room for up to 12 people (assuming you don't mind sharing a full size bed), we limited our group to 8 since there are only 2 bathrooms. Would stay here again if I went back to the same area.

Excellent for large gatherings with that country feel

Owner is very polite and courteous. Family loved feeding the goats, fish, and the huge pig. Lots of things to do. Pool table, beer pong, foosball, fire pit, volleyball, horseshoes and fishing all on the property. Lots of room for sleeping, lounging, and gathering in the dining area for a large family meal.

Family Retreat

We had a lovely time at the property. There was SO MUCH to do for everyone! They had a wide variety of indoor and outdoor games to choose from. We had an issue with cats on the property (allergy), but the owners were very responsive about it. Also- random but if you need a 9X13 pan, bring your own! We couldnā€™t find one! Other than that, the kitchen was well stocked! Would definitely stay here again

Great spot for extended family gathering with little kids who love to fish!

Easily enough beds/bedrooms for 10. Great dual kitchen setup and lots of great seating inside and out. Inside and outside abundance of games and entertainment options including inflatable movie screen. Fish pond was fabulous for the little ones. Such fun to see wildlife. We loved it!
