This room is accessible on the first floor, but you won't miss out on the Gulf with a private patio just across the lawn from the rolling dunes. Beautiful artwork brings the beach feeling inside. The shining kitchen with granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances has all the utensils and dishes you need to enjoy your stay. Leave your worries at home. Outside the kitchen, a round table seats two for an intimate meal or game of cards. There are two queen-sized beds with calming teal bedding. You can see the dunes or the wall-mounted TV from both. A love seat, coffee table, and two chairs with an end table give you room to spread out. Rearrange the light wicker and wood furniture to suit your needs. The cute full bathroom includes a tub for soaking after a day at the beach. A wood-paneled wall and round mirror keep the nautical feel. Located near downtown Port Aransas, you have easy access to the golf course, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Amenities include: TV, Wi-Fi, access to picnic areas, laundry facilities, 2 Boardwalks to the beach, 2 Shared Community Pools.

Lovely Peaceful Stay!
We absolutely love staying at the Island Retreat condos. This is the third time we have stayed at Island Retreat. Every time we pick a different condo and we are always happy with our stay! This condo was so cute and clean and had a very nicely remodeled kitchen! Staying right on the beach is the best decision with the boardwalk right outside the patio door. The Island Retreat is always full but you never even hear your neighbors. Great place to stay!!!!

Okay
It was close to beach but on lower level so no view. Okay size for my daughter and I but wouldn’t rent for 4 as advertised. Minimal parking. Linens weren’t changed from last guest which is unacceptable. They were accommodating and changed them as soon as possible but still not good. Oven didn’t work which ruined our dinner plans the last night. Locations and folks we had contact with were great but won’t book this property again.

Great place!
This unit was great, exactly as advertised. Right across from a pool in the front, and steps away from the walkway to the beach in the back. Being on the bottom I expected to hear noise but there wasn't any! It was quiet and we slept great. We would definitely rent this unit again!

Cute and on the beach!
We had a great time in Port A. This particular location was perfect! We could walk to the beach! There were a couple issues but nothing that ruined our trip. The refrigerator was too cold, it was freezing the milk we took for our kids. The oven wouldn’t heat up to make a frozen pizza. The dishes that were in the cabinets had food stuck on them still…which made me question how clean everything else is. The ac wouldn’t fully cool the space so we were a little uncomfortable/sweaty at night. It’s a great location but maybe for someone with no kids and who will only be sleeping there.

We loved our stay here and will book here again.
Loved the property. Was close to the beach. Back patio with view of beach and dunes was wonderful. Kitchen with full size appliances was perfect for cooking verses going out. Couldn't figure out how to work the TV cable could only get Netflix. Instruction/cheat sheet would be nice how to work TV. Remote didn't work like mine does at home.

Thank you for the 5 starts. We have someone on staff 8:30am into the evening to assist with any issues a property may have. We are in the process of putting binders together for the homes so guests can work remotes and other items in the homes. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your return to the island.

Short stay
Enjoyed our only day. Which just happened to check-in day. Had to depart the next morning due to a family emergency. Notified the contact number we had and only got a reply of "thanks come again" and a another text about how there's golf carts for rent. No, sorry or can we offer a refund for the remaining time. No compassion.

Easy check in/out process, app excellent (super great detailed instructions on FAQ), great instant communication through app/text, great location, super clean, quiet, cozy room, everything in good working order, kitchen tools applicable and clean. Definitely returning unless it stays booked due to the excellent reviews.
