Catch sunrise on the beach and sunset on the river. In the heart of Melbourne Beach, just 5 blocks to everything in town. Great high end and casual restaurants, a gourmet market, beachfront bar & grill, tennis and bocce courts as well as many local businesses and amenities are all within walking distance.

Pelican Pier is a 4 bedroom, 3 full bath, private home with a private saltwater pool in a private fenced backyard. Heat for pool is $200 per week. Includes a grill, covered lanai, patio furniture, lounge chairs, outdoor dining table, and all the amenities of home. Pelican pier can accommodate up to 8 people with 2 king bedroom suites, and 2 queen bedrooms that share a full bath. Pelican Pier boasts a fully equipped kitchen, keyless entry, full laundry facilities, free wi-fi with streaming capabilities, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and a beach wagon. Large great room and driveway that can accommodate up to 4 cars.

Melbourne Beach is a barrier island that is close to Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach and Vero Beach. Just 75 miles to Orlando attractions and the Orlando International Airport and 7 miles to the Melbourne Airport. Supermarkets, big box stores, medical/hospital facilities, and restaurants galore are all within a few miles. Check out the flair of Old Melbourne with it's unique shops and local establishments. See a rocket launch form our beach or make a short drive to Cape Canaveral for an up close experience.

We loved our stay at this house! The kitchen had everything we needed and more, which made cooking super easy. The bedrooms were huge and the beds/linens were really comfortable. The pool was awesome, and there were tons of floats and pool toys to keep everyone entertained. We also appreciated all the beach gearā€”it made trips to the beach so much easier. Overall, it was a great spot and weā€™d definitely come back!

Beautiful, Well-Stocked House!

I usually never leave reviews for our stays, but this one was so fantastic that I couldn't wait to! Greg was a delight to communicate with, the house is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable, the backyard oasis is a DREAM and this has to be the best stocked house we have ever stayed in! Everything that you could need in the kitchen, to go to the beach, to have fun in the pool is there and more! Also, Melbourne Beach is so close and we couldn't believe how uncrowded it was, especially during the July 4th weekend! Just a delightful vacation stay and we will definitely be back -- thanks, Greg!!!

The owner was the most responsive host I have worked with and I have booked several trips! The pool was great and the amount of beach gear was awesome! I would definitely book this house again!

Paradise

This place was excellent, hands down one of the best properties I've stayed at using VRBO. The neighborhood and area are just a paradise setting. Quiet, private and close to the beach, the pool temperature was perfect, the house had EVERYTHING you need, from a very well stocked kitchen to beach and pool items. if your coming to party and throw down this is NOT the place for you. Its in a quiet peaceful neighborhood and is a great place to relax and unwind. I cannot think of even 1 complaint to add so 5 stars.

Amazing!

This home was in a perfect location! Close to the bay, the ocean, restaurants and a beautiful park!! Our host was easily available for any questions. The rooms were beautiful! The pool and outback area was just wonderful! The yard is so well maintained! And they thought of everything! Anything I needed seemed to be there! We come to Melbourne Beach every year and have always stayed at the Hilton Oceanfront but not anymore! This will be our place to stay!!

Florida Getaway

This was our fifth time staying at this lovely home! It has become our annual family holiday! It fills my heart to be able to make memories with our family and friends. It is such a gift to hear our children and their spouses laugh together and talk about bringing their future children to this family getaway! The location is lovely and the house is very clean, comfortable and well maintained! Greg is the most wonderful host! He is always available and very helpful whenever needed! Melbourne Beach is a great location for a relaxing getaway, but many attractions relatively close by!

Wedding Weekend

House was everything as listed in the online listing. The house was attractive, clean and comfortable with a touch of luxury with the pool and the walkin shower in the Master Bedroom. Layout of the house was great and the fact all 4 bedrooms have a queen/king size bed and no bunk beds was a definite plus with a family of adults. The wedding happended to be on the Saturday following hurricane Milton, and the host went out if his way to keep us updated on the property and make sure things were ready for us when we arrived. Will definitely plan to stay here again should we find ourselves back in Melbourne Beach.

Fantastic

The house is very nice, well kept and clean. The patio and very large pool were great to use during hot days. Lots of seating outside. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots, pans and everything you will need to cook. The beds are comfortable and everything is clean and updated. The host and owner was very easy to work with and responds to messages quickly if you would need something. We had a wonderful week at this house and look forward to renting again when we come to visit family in Melbourne.

Wonderful Vacation Home

Couldnā€™t have asked for anything more . The house was perfect for our family gathering. More than enough room for everyone to feel comfortable . Family Vacation Favorite

Our family vacation week could not have been better! Our host, Greg, was fantastic to communicate with; very quick responses and attentive for any needs we might encounter. His beautiful, nicely decorated coastal and spacious home never felt too small for all seven adults. We all enjoy cooking and the kitchen was big enough for two people to cook together and move around. The home had many appliances, glasses, platters, utensils and dishes to suit our needs. I LOVED having a large slow cooker to let dinner cook while we floated in the pool all afternoon! We marveled at the beautiful landscaping and even planned for family picture since we all traveled from different places to be together. We enjoyed morning walks in the quiet neighborhood, short walks to the Melbourne Market and pier. We did opt to drive to the city tennis courts in the mornings. The courts are well kept. Excellent property with everything you need available!

This is a beautiful and spacious home with a beautiful back yard and the beach 3 blocks away! The house is clean and offers everything you needā€”many properties on vrbo say they have a fully appointed kitchen but this house truly does. The pool (heat available) and yard are stunning and offer so much room to relax or play. Lots of toys available in the garage for beach or pool. Greg is a wonderful host and incredibly responsive. Check in/out process was seamless. We had a great weekā€”thank you!

Outstanding Property

This is a beautiful property. House is located less than 10 minute walk from the beach or 1 minute drive. Plenty of places to shop and eat nearby. Owner takes wonderful care of the property and was great to work with for our stay. The house is well equipped and set up great for 2 families or in our case, bringing kids and grandparents. The pool and outdoor space is stunning. Staying in Florida in March can be risky with cooler nights and this is the best heated pool we have ever had at a rental property! Highly recommend!

Family Vacation

This was our fifth stay in Melbourne Beach. It is a great place for our family to come and relax! Greg is the best host! His houses are wonderful! We have other friends that have stayed in the area and they comment that our experience is always so much better than they have had with other hosts. Great place to stay!

This is our 2nd time staying here and we have it booked for next year. The owners have thought of practically everything you need to have a great vacation! We love the location - walk to the park, sunset at the pier, library, grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants are all right thereā€¦ And the layout of the house is great for a family -plenty of room inside and outā€¦and the pool is right there! Itā€™s a great place to have fun and make memories in MLB ā¤ļø

Family vacay

To begin, the pictures donā€™t do the property justice. It is much nicer in person. The house was the perfect size for 7 adults. Inside was clean and wonderfully appointed. Everything needed for meal prep, along with a gas grill on patio. The backyard and pool were great. Between the tropical landscape, and the fence, it offered total privacy. With the covered patio and comfortable furniture, it was great to sit out of the sun in between dips in the pool. Plenty of pool toys are in the garage, along with a wagon, chairs, umbrellas and everything youā€™d need for a day at the beach. Speaking of beach, the house location is great. Itā€™s only a short walk to the beach, or to the park at the Indian river. Great restaurants, bars, and cafes are within walking distance, or only a short drive. My family and I had a great stay at Pelican Pier, and hope to stay there again in the future.

Great property for family stay!

We had 7 adults (all the immediate family) staying for the week. Property was great! Very clean! Well laid out house! Enjoyed being able to walk down to the beach! Went to the Kennedy Space Center from here - very easy drive! Family all had a wonderful relaxing week at the beach and in the pool! Would definitely return!

Wonderful!

This home is the most well appointed we have ever rented. Pictures do not do justice for the spaciousness and decor. It is so relaxing and so many extras like kitchen spices, trash bags, dishwasher tabs, beach equipment. The pool is wonderful- the backyard is private. Outside gas grill with gas, and spotless. The walk to the beach is about 5-8 minutes when pulling the beach wagon( included) and coolers and chairs. We will return :)

Wonderful

Loved the house and pool. Everything was great and I would recommend to a friend. The only drawbacks: I like a door on my bathroom. There is just a level of venerability when your naked without a door. Check out was 10am and we were responsible to strip the beds. There was a $200+ cleaning fee. Cleaning people get paid to do less and get paid more. Small annoyance for a great house and location.
