The space
Everything is available for use (depending upon the season). Kayaks (2), pool (Memorial Day Thru Labor Day), fireplace, pool table, ping pong, table hockey, tennis court, theater room, televisions (2), and 7 acres of property.
All toiletries are provided, fully furnished executive kitchen, pool floats and outdoor barbecue grills (2).

Guest access
Everything is available for use (depending on the season). Tennis court, pool, pool table, theater room, river, kayaks, and indoor amenities.

Other things to note
Security cameras are posted at every exterior entrance as well as one viewing the pool. These serve to protect both estate guests and the owners. This space is not listed for use for parties, gatherings or events. Guests may not sublet the listing. Guests may not modify the individuals included in their reservation without notifying hosts. House accommodates up to 16 individuals. Children and infants under the age of 2 are not included in the total guest count. If found to be hosting an event or party during a stay, guests will face immediate eviction.

This is a great house for a large or extended family. Beautiful view of the river. House is fully equipped. The pools is wonderful and there great shops and restaurants nearby to enjoy.

Nice and spacious. The view of the river is great. The pool area and all the seating feel like a resort. The hosts were very responsive. We loved our 5 night, 3 generation family getaway! We cooked, we grilled, we fished, we kayaked, we swam and had a great time!

This home was truly amazing the pool basketball hoop was a great deal of fun for my 4 grandkids !! The hot tub was perfect too!The tennis courts needed some resurfacing but folks were able to play pickle ball !The problem was we had no electricity during most of our stay !! There was a sudden horrific tornado !The hosts offered a small electric generator for our cell phones and a fan but in truth life was a challenge ! our family opted to stay despite the heat and no electricity and we managed !We would love to try again if Mother Nature permits but she / he is very unpredictable !I would recommend for a family reunion with various ages and pets represented ! Thank you Claire and Evan

Wonderful Home on the river

There were a lot of things to do all over the property. Swimming , hot tub , kayak, fishing and tennis are all fun and ready to go. The beds were especially comfortable and there were plenty of large spaces where we could all gather.A really nice space.

A perfect weekend away

Family getaway

Our experience at St. Joe was nothing short of amazing. The communication was spot on. Once we arrived we instantly felt at home. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone that’s looking for a nice size, clean home for family staycations.

It was a great place to stay

The property was better than advertised. It was bigger than I thought it would be. Outside of the home is a great place to spend time with the family. The home had everything that you could possibly need it’s like they have thought of everything. I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Riverside Estate

Very nice but unpretentious home on the river. We were a group of 8 college friends and had lots of room to spread out. Some of us might bring our families on a future trip here b/c the house has an excellent layout for kids.

Wedding weekend

Stayed here for our son’s wedding weekend. Perfect for what we needed. Pool and pickleball were very fun during our down time. Need to add a leaf blower so guests can clean off the outside areas from tree debris but otherwise fantastic!

Tons of fun on the river

My family and friends had a wonderful time at this lovely home. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, tennis court, pool table, video game machine, and access to the river. The house was well stocked with cooking/ kitchen items, towels, and games. The host was responsive and helpful. Loved it!

Celebration

We stayed here for our daughter's graduation from Notre Dame. This home was perfect for our family. It is close enough to Notre Dame and was able to accommodate everyone. Claire and Evan were so gracious and easy to communicate with. They even opened the pool a week early for our stay. I would highly recommend this property for any occassion.

River Retreat

The property was beautiful, plenty of room for all the guys on the weekend trip. The house was well stocked and clean. The view of the river was amazing, use of the kayaks was such a huge bonus. The proximity to the lake and dunes was such a nice option for a day trip, and being close to Niles for supplies made it very easy to stock up for the weekend, instead of travelling with supplies. I would absolutely recommend this location. The hosts were incredible with communication when we had questions.

Family Celebration

We had enough space for thirteen people. The pool and hot tub was a big hit with everyone. On the rain night we sat around the big table and played games. My husband and I enjoyed our coffee outside looking at the river and watching wildlife. We had turkeys visiting us along with a deer, a pair of white swans. We had a large fire our last night.We had a cardinal that came to the patio every night and morning, looking in. We said it was the kids grandma coming to be part of the family celebration. I would highly recommend it for a family getaway.

Dream Vacation

The swimming pool was a big hit for all! Playing tennis was fun for the younger adults and the 16-year-old loved the basement pool table, darts and her own space! The soda pop provided was wonderful and an added bonus for her. Seeing wildlife was a plus for the seniors. The bedrooms in the house are set up so the younger children and seniors can still stay on schedule with bedtimes and not be bothered with the noises of others in the house. This house was the ultimate for our 3 families. Plenty of space for all. Truly a DREAM VACATION!

Family Vacation

This was our first experience renting a house for a family vacation and it could not have gone better. Claire & Evan (our hosts) are great. They were communicating with us before the trip with any of our questions quickly and with great detail. They were concerned with a small issue before our arrival and they let us know before we even arrived. The home for our family was more than spacious and they provided us with all the necessities any home would need. They even provided a wonderful welcome basket along with some fresh locally grown peaches - Which were delicious. We are already discussing when we are going to go back. 5 Stars all around.

Has Everything

The house was sized right for a family group of 12. Comfortably appointed and furnished and the beds were comfortable. The pool, hot tub, river kayaks, back patio, tennis court and large lawn area were great for kids and adults. Very private and down a long, tree lined lane.
