Our gigantic wrap-around deck will leave you wanting to spend most of your time outdoors! Relax and enjoy the gorgeous lake views. We provide a propane grill and fire pit, too! Savor the peaceful solitude of this home located near the end of a dead-end road. A Duner's dream, this home offers plenty of parking for your trailer and toys. Drive your sand toys directly onto the dunes; access is just a few feet down the road in either direction. With year-round riding, you will hear people out enjoying the Dunes.

Lovely Spot

This property is the perfect place to beat the valley heat! We spend our mornings on the deck over looking the lake, our afternoons exploring the dunes and beach, and evenings BBQ'ing and using the fire pit!

Just what we needed

The property was perfect for our family getaway. Looks to entertain the kids as well as the adults. Cheryl and Geno were quick to answer any questions and there were plenty of amenities at the house that made the stay more specialā€¦loved the touch of the sā€™mores bar set up.

The place looks better than in the pictures. The view is amazing and you canā€™t beat the access to the dunes. Cheryl even let us check in early and offered to check out late. Highly recommend.

This place was an absolute AMAZING place, cozy and tastefully decorated! You wont feel deceived by the pictures they are true and the ad is 100% accurate. Host communication is awesome, very friendly !We will go out of our way to stay at any of this Hostā€™s homes. If we could give more then 5 we would. I could go on and on about how wonderful it was! And I think Iā€™ve found a new friend!

This is a great place if the sand is your thing. Unload your toys and have fun. Entrance to the sand is only 50 yards away from the driveway! We have been here twice and it doesnā€™t disappoint.

This place is over the top accommodating and comfortable!!! They have several tidbits that show they care about enjoying your time there and are relaxed to the fullest! Zero complaints! The bed was probably the most comfortable one we have ever had in a rental. Super impressed!! This was our 3rd time there and not the last!!

Anytime fun at Dune Haven

Stayed in the overlook we have stayed in the cottage and the A. Frame as well when Mike owned the properties. years of great fun. Great job on the wraparound porch! Too many pillows, fridge needs to go. Uncomfortable queen bed. But still love this place. Well done!

Lovely little cabin

Quaint, cozy little place. Perfect for an intimate getaway. But nearly too cramped for (3) toddlers under 3 :) Thatā€™s ok! We made it work!! Kids loved (loved loved) the beach! We owe you a flat bed of rocks for all the ones they tossed in the lake!! Such a pretty view to wake up to in the morning. Thanks again!!

Comfortable older cottage but noisy.

Comfortable older cottage with 60s(?) furnishings and a nice view through the trees over the lake. Very close to dune buggy area which may be great if that's your thing but even at the end of the season it was kinda noisy during the day. Not for anyone looking for peace and quiet. This is the only downside. Access to the lake for swimming (too cold when we were there) and canoeing is a 50 yard walk down the adjacent driveway (but the fall water level was too low for more than a quick tour. The new owners are very responsive and the place was very clean when we arrived. the kitchen has most of what you need for basic cooking but don't plan on any fancy cooking. Changes are coming soon so check with the owners if there is something you need. It seems likely that it will get better as they work on it.

By the dunes

It was a great Labor Day weekend weather was great,house had a great view of Saunders lake and it was very close to get to the dune and the house was very clean and comfortable would come back again.

Great location for dune riding! Beautiful views!

This was our first trip to Saunders Lake, and we fell in love with this beautiful place. The house was clean, comfortable and located close to dune access. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely return in the future!

Beautiful home with dune access

Everything about our stay was great! Cozy house, beautifully decorated. The dunes access is so easy, we had some fun times fishing on the lake. Plenty of parking for truck, trailer & UTVs. Will definitely be back.

Duners Dream

This property is a great location for the die hard duners. Also great location to get to Coos Bay, North Bend and Winchester Bay by car. The beds were super comfortable and the deck was a great place to hang out for hours to watch the wildlife . We will be back !

Home away from home

This property was so cozy and comfortable it made you feel like you were at home. It was well equipped with everything that any guest would ever need and it was super clean and quiet. The view of the lake and the dunes right outside your door were fantastic. We will definitely stay there again soon.

Saunders Lake Retreat

We had an amazing time. House was furnished nicely with a well supplied kitchen, quality linen, and was decorated nicely for the holiday. Owner communicated immediately and was accommodating to our requests. My friends and family loved it. We will be looking forward to another stay here.

Geno is a contractor, excellent at building, fixing and maintaining homes. After an initial revamp of a property, he is constantly fine tuning, repairing and updating the homes. He's an adrenaline junkie and loves to spend his free time riding hard and fast on his multitude of motorcycles or side by side. Work hard, play hard and relax harder is our motto in life. We were blessed to find each other again after having attended high school together. With our children grown, we are able to focus on rediscovering living life to the fullest, every moment filled with laughter, love and tons of fun! I am a charge nurse on Orthopedics at a large hospital. I have spent my life with a passion for helping others and making their lives better, if even for a brief moment. A warm smile, soft touch, kind words and caring heart can make a huge difference in a anyone's life! Hiking, biking, basking in the sun while enjoying true crime stories and fast drives on a curvy road with the top down and music blasting are some of my favorite ways to spend free time. Human nature fascinates me and if I weren't a nurse, I would have become a forensics crime scene investigator. We both have many years before retirement and are excited to share our gorgeous homes with you until then. Enjoy!

HAVE YOU SEEN THE PROPERTY??? It is INCREDIBLE and fits our lifestyle to a T! We love the peacefulness of the surrounding woods and lake. As stated, this property is all about RELAXATION!! We cherish our free time and love the SOLITUDE of this property. Where else can you hang around all day then at a whim jump in the side by side and go for a KILLER RIP on the Dunes??! No trailering, no trips, just immediate fun without the wait!!! Come back, grill up some lunch, play in the lake, have drinks on the expansive deck and go for an evening ride!
