Hobbit Treehouse on the River Ranch is the most amazing place to stay in Texas!

Only 40 minutes from Fort Worth/1 hour from Dallas, Hobbit Treehouse is located deep in a forest on a cattle ranch on the banks of the Brazos River, the 2 Bedroom plus bunk room for 2 kids treehouse sits on a magnificent deck beside a waterfall--15 feet off the ground!

- Soak in the hot tub under the stars!
- Sit around the fire pit, bring your own s'mores; wood is provided!
- Hike the easy 1 mile to the Brazos River; enjoy other hikes too!
- Relax in the chairs overlooking the river with your favorite beverage!
- Try out our kayaks, paddle boards, and inner tubes all are provided free)!
- Visit the barnyard/petting zoo and collect your own farm fresh eggs from our hens! - - Also meet Dennis the donkey and his girlfriend Sugar, and all their barnyard friends!
- Visit the only Fairy Forest in Parker County! Build a fairy house to keep the fairies coming back!
- Kids love the painted rock station: paint river stones and then hide them on the ranch!
- Try your hand at roping; we'll teach you!
- Visit our new Petrified Wood laboratory, complete with magnifying glasses; learn what it was like here millions of years ago!
- Listen to the waterfall during a meal on the deck!
- Light up the Fire Table on a cool night!
- The fishing is great above the rapids!

Best Glamping Ever!

It was a dream come true for our family. The quietness of nature, beautiful home, fun time tubing on the Brazos river, farm fresh eggs picked ourselves, finding petrified wood and stones! We enjoyed everything and look forward to returning!

Well Appointed

Everything in this tiny cool house was so well appointed. Everything was top quality, beautiful and fit well in the home. The cozy sheets and the 4 ply toilet paper were just the extra touches that make your trip go from good to excellent.

Great Place to Unwind!

What a wonderful place to disconnect with city life and enjoy the beauty of nature. The amenities were also a nice touch - fire pit, hot tub, outdoor grill, tons of outdoor seating and wi-fi (great for the teens in your life). A vast property to hike on and explore. The Brazos River was a relaxing excursion that you can hike to or drive to. They offer a lot of activities on the ranch if you want to be engaged that way, but we didn't do those. When you say let's get away from the hustle and bustle - this is the place to do it. We didn't see anyone else our whole stay, unlike at another "tiny" cabin place we stayed where the cabins are kind of close together and you can hear other people. I highly recommend Fuller's Folly River Ranch if you want an escape that isn't "roughing it" but submerges you in the great outdoors!

Best place to disconnect!

No Tv, Minimal internet, no video games, social media, or ipads in a tiny home... some might say it's a nightmare, but it was PERFECT. So much to do and see and opened my kids eyes to how creative they can actually be without the distraction of their every day tech filled lives. Rock painting station, petting zoo (Dennis and Sugar are the cutest), Fairy Garden, animal watching, hiking trails, and finishing or just shell hunting at the brazos river were all so fun. Crystal and Arrowhead digging was an added plus we didn't even know was going to be available! Had a great time and will be back again!

Secluded getaway within 45 minutes of Ft. Worth!

I stayed at the Magical Treehouse for 3 days and 2 nights with 6 other girls and the experience was hands-down the best venue I have ever stayed at. It is definitely secluded and tucked away, but that only adds to the charm of the property. Right away after booking I sent the hosts a message and received a very quick response and the communication remained prompt anytime I had a question. The cabin itself I wish I could pick up and bring back to Florida with me! It's so cozy and clean and really well-furnished. From the chairs to the mattresses everything was very comfortable and it makes you feel at home. The property amenities are diverse (Shout out to Trista who was incredible in helping us book our float down the river!) and there really is something for everyone. Whether its an adult-only trip or you're traveling with kids this property does not disappoint. I would absolutely stay here again if I was looking for another glamping trip. Thank you, Bill, Linda, and Trista for ensuring that our trip was so amazing!

Get unplugged and spend some quality family time together!

I brought my family to The Hobbit Treehouse for a surprise getaway for my husbands birthday. I didn’t tell anyone where we were going but just gave them a list of what to bring. I told them to pack some board games too… when we got there my girls (ages 12,10 and 7) were overwhelmed with excitement that we were staying in an actual treehouse! They ran around exploring everything they could and finding all the hidden treasures that are scattered around the property. We brought our family dog Millie who had the time of her life! We spent time together tubing and kayaking the river, making Follycorns, playing games, talking and laughing nonstop. We ate meals together outside under the magical lights that are all around the the trees. My kids did not once ask for a phone. I never once wished I could just sit and watch tv. It was the best bonding experience with my family that I could have asked for. Not only was the experience priceless but the amenities of the house are top notch. The shower is straight up luxurious and the beds are so comfortable! We stayed for three nights and when it was time to go my kids begged me to stay. All three of my girls and my husband want to make this a family tradition and go every year and honestly I do too. My middle daughter is adamant that when she is older she wants to live there. I highly recommend everyone to stay at The Hobbit Treehouse!

Great getaway for the family

We really enjoyed staying at Fullers Folly as we were lucky enough to be the first to occupy the new treehouse cabin . The place was amazing and Bill really went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. My girls especially loved the slide! We will definitely be back since the weather was not good and want to ride horses, spend time around the river and with the farm animals.

Magical getaway!

Wow. What a special weekend my partner and I had staying in the hobbit house. Everything about the property was truly divine. The attention to detail put into the cabin and surrounding land was truly remarkable. It got very cold- 20 degrees- our first night but I was impressed with how warm we were inside! Very well insulated. The hot tub was a staple- the skies were clear, which allowed for lots of stargazing! A weekend with memories we will cherish. Thank you for creating this space! Would absolutely visit again.

Fairy Awesome!

We had a great time at the Hobbit House! The house is so unique and wonderfully decorated. Everything was extremely clean and in perfect shape. We had no cell service, but it was nice to unplug and explore (they do have WiFi). We played games, went hiking, painted rocks, tracked animals, made s’mores, soaked in the hot tub and more. This is a great house for outdoor activities for people of all ages. We will definitely be back!

Great getaway from busy life

The treehouse is beautifully decorated, and everything was set up for us and ready to go. We loved being away from it all for a few days! I would definitely come back and highly recommend the Hobbit House if you want to escape the pressures of everyday life for a while.

Magical place to stay.

Wife and I plus kids stayed here 3 nights. Everyone loved it. The attention to detail in this place is awesome from the small pieces of forest foliage growing out of the walls to the rustic bathroom. We loved the wrap around deck with lighting all the way around. This place has an on demand waterfall! The kids had their own little balcony off the loft up top. We drove down to the river a couple times and spent hours exploring the river bed and walking thru the water. (Water shoes recommend. ) Overall great trip hope to do it again.

Resort Treehouse in the Woods

A magical adventure we will always remember. Be prepared because you won't want to say goodbye to the magical forest. Leave your scheduled calendars behind in order to unwind and enjoy nature at the best level possible. Talk about a private get away - our nearest neighbors were at the petting zoo - be sure to meet them. I am pretty sure Patrick had a crush on me. ❤
