Our kitchen has all new appliances and is fully equipped. Feel comfortable staying at this home knowing that every surface has been sanitized and disinfected by a licensed cleaning company. Enjoy enchanting sunsets on the cozy dock with your loved ones. We invite you to have an amazing stay at Santa Clara where you will feel like you are home away from home. House worked great for my wife and I. Layout was good, and the recent remodeling work definately improved the house (sliding door to pool, whole house air conditioning etc.). Communication was property manager was very good, and prompt as well. I liked that there were wall mounted TVā€™s in both bedrooms, and that the house and two full bathrooms as well. Kitchen layout with Island was great, and couches in main living room comfy. Dining room table easily sat 6 if needed, and access to waterway was good. We didnā€™t rent a boat this time, but easily could have and kept it at the property.

Amazing Memorial Weekend!

This place is beautiful! We enjoyed spending time in pool with our boys and fishing right from the backyard. The best part was when a group of 3 dolphin began playing in front of us when out on the dock! We would definitely stay here again! The host responds immediately and ensures you have all you need for a great family vacation!

This was a great place overall. Wy wife and I drove 20 hours non stop and the owners were really kind to let us in a few hours early to relax! The remodel absolutely fantastic! Great locations for restaurants that's just minutes away. Great location to travel short distances to the beaches. Overall well worth the house with the expense we paid.

We loved this rental! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, which makes relaxing on the dock, in the yard, or around the pool quite pleasant. Having the provided bikes to pedal to Tarpon Point Marina (great restaurants there), and Rotary Park (sweet walking trails there) is a bonus! The availability of the kayaks makes for great opportunities for paddling the canals; we frequently saw dolphins as were floating along. If theatre is your thing, a show/musical at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre is a must! The owners are terrific to work with. We would not hesitate to recommend this rental!

Week vacation in cape coral

The Property was very clean with current furniture. The mattress allowed us a good night sleep every night. It was nice to enjoy the dock and watch small boats going through the canal. We felt very safe in a nice quiet neighborhood with friendly people. The location of this rental was so close to shopping and wonderful restaurants. We recommend this property

Perfect Pelican House!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental. The owners are great with communication. The house is very well equipped; and is an extremely comfortable place to be. The neighborhood is pleasant. The property is conveniently located to shops, beaches, sight-seeing spots. Lots of destinations for activities are close-byā€¦..we took in a show at Barbara Mann Theatre; watched a boat parade at Four Freedoms Park; biked for lunch at Naughty Mermaid at Tarpon Point; took a stroll on the boardwalks through Six Mile Cypress Slough; walked the trails at Rotary Park; and spent pleasant afternoons with our feet in the sand, watching the dolphins and interesting boats, at Cape Coral Yacht Club. When we werenā€™t out and about, the screen room and pool were absolutely delightful; and kayaking on the canal was great fun, too! We would not hesitate to recommend this rental; and look forward to returning!

1st time

This home was beautiful and so clean. There are some things that were needed or have to be replaced as in a can opener/toaster/pens/ beach towels or fun towels all towels were white (thats a nice thing but not with kids) lol with the remodel some nails were exposed just some minor things.Maybe label the lights because aome of the lights we had no idea what they did. The beds were so comfy! But this is not bad at all OUR STAY WAS WONDERFUL AND SO CLOSE TO STORES IF NEEDED. WE LOVED IT WE STAYED AN EXTRA DAY. THANK YOU

My family booked this house for 4 nights. We had two fishing trips scheduled in the area House looked like the photos with the exception of the window shaker ac in the dining room. I thought that was a little odd. This house has a for sale sign in the yard so I think it is often vacant. The house was very warm and stagnant when we checked in. We turned on the main AC and window unit but it only went down a degree or two. I messaged the host, and asked if they could send a AC company, they responded quick but no ac company showed up that day. Around 2AM 1/2 of the house lost power. No AC at all. No power is bathroom or 2nd bedroom. Kitchen lost power. Refrigerator had no power. Just the living room had power. It was strange, hot and frustrating. My daughter slept on the floor because the tile was cooler than the bed. We tried the breakers. Nothing helped. Messaged host again. Somehow thankfully the power came on around 4:30AM. We did one fishing trip that morning. Ac company show up later on day 2. Guy said the ac had problems. We were afraid of having a repeat of night 1 so we packed up 2 days early and left. Canceled the other fishing trip. Host did said they were sorry.. no refund or anything though.

Gary is a wonderfully kind and helpful owner who reached out to offer any assistance if needed and responded quickly to all communication. We arrived to a beautifully renovated, clean, and inviting home with comfortable beds and living arrangements. Plenty of spacious room and adequate kitchen and bathroom supplies for our family of four. The home temperature throughout the stay was excellent in spite of the daily sporadic December temperatures. We were happily surprised of this excellent location to everything you could possibly need or want to explore in Cape Coral or Ft. Meyers. We didn't have enough time to experience all the relaxing amenities the owner provided like the cruiser bikes, board games, and various sporting equipment, but we absolutely loved the private pool time and exploring the canals with the available kayaks. (Bring your own life jackets.) We enjoyed the clean pool immensely which maintained a great temperature regardless of the time of day. Because the home sits along one of the canals with neighboring pools, docks, and boats, the relaxing vibe offers a full vacation mode atmosphere. We arrived near Christmas time when lights adorned neighboring pools and docks. We will book again should we return to the Cape Coral/ Ft. Meyers area. Highly recommend this renovated rental and fabulous host!!!

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Pelican-Cape Coral. The house was spotless upon our arrival, following a seamless check-in process. Communication from the owner was timely and clear. The house is on a very quiet street, in a delightful neighborhoodā€¦wonderful for walking, running, biking. Publix is a quick and easy under 10-minute stroll away. The bikes included with the rental were terrific for exploring the surrounding neighborhood. Rotary Park and North Point Marina are fun, close-by, biking destinations. Kayaks were a bonus to haveā€¦paddling the canals is a great time! Local restaurants are plentifulā€¦The Naughty Mermaid was yummy; as was Twisted Lobster; and The Boathouse. This rental is convenient for getting to Red Sox Spring Training games at Jet Blue Park. We had fun relaxing with our toes in the sand at the cozy and nearby Yacht Club Beach. This rental had what we needed for pleasant days at the beachā€¦. chairs, an umbrella for shade, floaties, sand toys for kids. The screened in pool area is perfect for spending relaxing afternoons; temperature of the pool water was perfect; pool deck furniture is well maintained. The gas grill for prepping grilled dinners was clean and convenient. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. We look forward to returning!

Nice, but..

Overall the property was very nice and the neighborhood was pleasant and quiet. The access to the pool was only available through the master bath, but they did leave a note saying they were working on adding doors to access from the living area. The home was updated but the master bath was very small and the toilet had a mismatched cover that looked like it could fall any minute. The guest toilet was not secured all the way and wiggled. They had lights all over the house and numerous light switches labeled but some you had to hunt for. We could never figure out how to get the pool light to turn on. The master bed was also very hard and uncomfortable, and the air conditioning was programmed to jump to 78 degrees after 1030pm. It would have been nice if they would have left instructions, or a notice about this, so that we could have changed it prior to going to sleep. Again, overall the house was nice, the amenities like the pool and access to the canal with the kayaks was fun, and we really just went there to relax. The home was close to everything so finding places to eat was no problem and the beaches were a short drive away. Price I feel was a little high for what you got but again still nice and I would recommend it to others to try, I may just be picky. Host was easy to contact through the app.

House was clean and well kept up. Many things to do in the area. Pool was very nice needs a hand held railing to get in and out. Latter could be attached to the dock for safety reasons and to make it easier to get in and out of kayaks.

Perfect home away from home

As soon as we opened the door, we were welcomed by jazz music on the TV, cool air thought out, fans on and an inviting atmosphere. Cute beach type decor in the entire home, nice big and comfy bed in master bedroom (there is a 2nd bedroom but did not use), nicely decorated with huge closests. Stepping out of the back door you will see the perfect size pool(warm water) and a few steps away the inlet canal with two chairs to enjoy the views or do some fishing. The kitchen has everything you need along with delightful pods of coffee for the Kuerig machine. We had some of the wildlife stop by daily (Muscovey ducks along with all kinds of other birds) and the neighborhood kitty that we called "Tigger" (reminded us of our first cat). My husband caught and released about 45 fish, mostly gafftopsail catfish and some mangrove snappers. An overall great experience, highly recommended. Will be back!

This home has been called a "hidden gem" by many previous renters. Our property is in the heart of downtown Cape Coral where you may enjoy a delicious dinner and drinks at several outstanding restaurants. In the morning, while relaxing to your morning coffee you may get lucky to catch a dolphin siting!

This home includes waterfront views from the front and back yard. We have supplied kayaks and bicycles to give renters the option of venturing our gorgeous neighborhood. Our home has no fixed bridges which allows renters to dock their personal boats at our home.
