Want to enjoy a private modern home with beautiful, serene views of Lake Michigan, from every level of the home, as well as from the heated pool? Look no further! Our luxurious home is located on the shores of Lake Michigan just south of South Haven, and is the perfect private retreat, ideal for work/remote learning, and/or a fun change of scenery. High speed internet (gigabit) blankets the home in ultra fast wifi, allowing for flawless video conferencing, as well as a VariDesk workstation in the Master Bedroom and a smaller desk in the basement. When it’s time to relax, do so on the large porch with views of the pool and lake and enjoy unobstructed Lake Michigan sunsets. There is a private beach with sand for relaxation or play. Enjoy the pool table, ping pong table and large screen televisions during indoor time. For fitness enthusiasts, wonderful outdoor running routes are ready to greet you, as is a Peloton bike. Rest and rejuvenate in one of four bedrooms or the twin bunk alcove, which can sleep 10-12 comfortably, with 5 full bathrooms available to freshen up. When it's time to eat, our well-equipped and stocked chef's kitchen and large dining table allow you to feed your family and friends in comfort, while the grill master can enjoy a wonderful sunset, just don't forget about what you've got on the grill! Enjoy Lake Michigan living at it's finest in the privacy of this beautiful home with a short 5 minute drive into South Haven for shopping, restaurants, takeout and groceries. Groceries are also available for delivery from the local Meijer.

SUMMER 2023 FAMILY GATHERING

The property was everything we hoped it would be, including pool, lake views and access, large kitchen and dining area, and perfect bedroom setup for our family. Our host was very responsive to our questions and provided a very well stocked home. We loved our stay and hope to come back next year.

Great experience

We spent six days at this beautiful home in South Haven Michigan. Except for a couple of rainy days and a small problem with the pool heater (which the host took care of promptly) we had a wonderful time. Any time we had a question or issue she was very punctual responding, we would happily return.

Summer Retreat

The home, the pool, the lake, and the quietness were sublime. The view of Lake Michigan in every corner of the house was stunning. It had easy access to the water by the dock and a wonderful outdoor shower, making an easy transition from lake to pool. This spacious beach home with all the amenities one could need is truly a Summer Retreat. Thank you!!

July stay

The house is a great house for a family gathering. The bedrooms and baths are laid out well. It’s clean and extremely well equipped in the kitchen. There are many toys for children. The pool is wonderful, however, if the house next door is occupied there will not be much privacy. The Lake Michigan views are great but the water can’t be accessed due to large rocks to prevent erosion. South Haven has a large beach but the restaurant options are limited. There are much better restaurant choices in Saugatuck.

Beautiful View and Home

If your goal on your vacation is to relax then this is the home for you. Beautifully maintained, gorgeous backyard and view. Kitchen is well appointed and quality construction provides for quiet rest. Lots of toys and games for he kiddies. As previously mentioned in other reviews, there is not a beach on the property, although beaches are all very close. A private deck overlooking the lake offers great views but no chairs are provided. Please note the pool is only heated to 78 degrees so if you want a warmer pool you will have to ask and pay for the additional heat which we found was worth it since we had young grandchildren. Also, no beach/pool towels or beach chairs are provided. We all decided that this rental is at the top of our list of homes we have stayed at.

Family vacation on lake michigan

Travelled with my family to this house for three nights. In total there was six of us staying here. There was something to keep everyone busy all three days. The pool is amazing and heated so it’s very comfortable to use day or night. The views are gorgeous and the windows allow you to see the lake from every room on the main floor. There is a very nice beach that can be accessed from the house but you do have to climb over rocks to get there. It can be difficult for anyone who has knee issues but five out of six of us were able to climb the rocks with no issues all three days. The only con is the basement bedroom does not have air conditioning so it was very warm. There is a window which would have helped cool the room down but there are no screens. Other than that this place is beautiful. It was one of the best Michigan beach vacations my family had.

Hi Michelle, Thank you for your stay and review. I think there was some confusion about the AC in the bedroom. There is indeed AC in the bedroom, it is in the same zone as the main level. So, the temperature in the basement can be controlled by the thermostat on the main level. We have also recently added a ceiling fan to this bedroom based on your review.

It's Home, You'll Never Want to Leave

This property is unique in this area. It's on the beach front but difficult to get to the beach if you are older and need to navigate all the rocks. The beachfront property has room for 3 houses, two are already built. This house would be in the middle if the other is built. The sunsets from the house view are spectacular. The downstairs is open architecture with picture windows and doors that open from the Kitchen, dining and living room area to the patio. The patio is large, covered and has many seating arrangements. It also includes a great grill. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need, including an amazing microwave in a drawer. The upstairs contains the bedrooms--some bunk beds for children and a wonderful master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and access to an upstairs patio. It's just perfect for morning coffee and watching the lake. The house is truly suitable for family vacations, but amazingly comfortable for just two. The grounds and pool are well-maintained. We were there in October so it was beginning to be cooler. It was quieter than in season, but equally enchanting. I cannot think of one thing that we would have changed. Before I gush too much, be aware that we are intent returning next year and every year that our host will welcome us. Make you reservations early, because we have told all our friends about this amazing home. About South Haven, there are plenty of activities including farmer's markets with fresh fruit and veggies. There are many restaurants there and close-by in Saugatuck. We give this experience, home and host our highest rating.

A rare find in South Haven

Three generations of our family had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home on the Lake. The house was clean and comfortable, the views were spectacular, and Ashley was very helpful and easy to work with. Our kids had the best time swimming in the heated pool, running around the spacious lawn, and playing with the abundance of toys in the house. Note that the private beach is difficult to access. Everyone in our group was able to navigate down to the sand, but only a couple of us could climb the rocks to the water. Our kids had fun playing in the sand, but our best beach time was at the public South Beach. Also, there are neighbors next door who share the private beach and an empty lot for sale nearby. That said, it was well worth the price and we would happily return to this peaceful retreat on the water.

Simply the Best

From the moment you turn into the winding drive, the Lake Michigan view is jaw dropping. The home's decor is luxurious and comfortable. Everything was extremely clean and well kept, both inside and outside. From the linens to the well-outfitted kitchen, we could not have asked for more. The high-end pool was clean and refreshing. Coming from the city, the ultra-quiet nights were refreshing beyond words. If you can stay here, you should. We are a family of five (dad, mom, 17 (birthday on this trip), 14, and 9.

Beautiful Luxury South Haven Home

We had an incredible family vacation at this beautiful home. The house is very well appointed with a gourmet kitchen, lovely bedrooms/bathrooms with luxury linens, great gathering spaces including a game room/pool table and spectacular views of the lake from bedrooms and living spaces. The pool was perfect for cooling down at the end of the day after spending time at the local beaches. The owner was very responsive to questions and provided clear pre-arrival information. I would highly recommend this house for families or a group of friends looking for a very special, luxury experience.

South Haven Home on Lake Michigan

This house is one of the best properties we have rented in Michigan. Not only is the property beautiful, complete with a view of Lake Michigan, the owner was incredibly courteous and responsive. The house was appointed and equipped perfectly, so that there were no last minute pickups of basic necessities. And the refrigerator was a good size to accommodate all our food. What a gift! If I ever did have a question, the owner responded politely and immediately. She gave us our privacy but was available whenever we needed her. The property and the owner are 5 star plus. We plan on many returns to this beautiful home!
