Beautiful Balsam Lake home with Jacuzzi tub close to Lake and park

The house will hold up to 8 people but the base price if you only have 2 people is lower due to less work and use associated with 2 guests. The sliding door does lock and it was locked again after this stay. The guest messaged me that her kiddos did not get it locked and I was able to lock it when I came to clean. I just noticed that this guest had 6 people stay even though she put 4 guests in her request to stay...so there was two unpaid guests staying and on the most desired day of the year...I just noticed this when looking back at the camera after her message here.

This guest arrived early and with a dog that was not on the reservation. I was still working on the lawn care and my husband was on the way over with the weed whip...this made him and mostly his wife angry that we were still finishing up outside. His wife was inside the house with the dog and must have seen the house rules on the fridge about checking in a dog or being charged more cuz she came outside yelling and angry saying some explicit words to me about how the house wasn't good enough for her dog. My husband was on the phone with me and heard her yelling which caused him to dial up the non emergency dispatch just in case I needed help before he could arrive. The guest may have been someone I could work with but the wife was another story. Put-downs, anger, and aggression made this whole experience very disturbing and I would never want to rent to this guest again.

Cora was a great guest. She communicated well and was respectful of our home. We would gladly welcome Cora back anytime!

We have put a curtain on the entry door window. We have put a couple more curtains on the living room window. The bathroom area is pretty small but the plus is that it has the full bathtub which I always love. We run a dehumidifier and air purifier in the home now sometimes constantly and other times of year as needed. The kitchen drawer does open but not when the dishwasher is cracked so you have to just figure that out I guess as most guests do.
