Seashell Cove-5 Minutes Walk to Water

Enjoy some quiet time in this home located on the north end of Jamestown. Only 5 minutes’ walk will bring you to a beautiful local beach. Enjoy a quiet and peaceful stroll in the morning to catch the sunrise and in the evening for some beautiful sunset. The house consists of 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 full, 2 twins, and 1 bonus twin bed), 2 baths, and well stocked kitchen. With a spacious deck in the back, enjoy some meals outdoor, sit and relax in the backyard to read a book, listen to the birds chirping, or feel the breeze. This home boasts nature at its best! While it is tucked in a quiet street, it is only a 10 minutes’ drive from Newport and a 15-20 minutes’ drive from Narragansett.

Seven nights minimum rental starting Mid-May to Mid-September.

Note: Our house is categorized as Contemporary with the kitchen, dining area, bathroom and 2 smaller bedrooms on the first floor. The spiral staircase leads to the living room/family room and master bedroom and master bath on the second floor.

It was the perfect house for 5 family members who came back to Newport, RI to celebrate the life of my brother where so many of the family had spent so much time together for many gatherings, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.

Loved this little house! Plenty of room for four girlfriends to hang out and be together or find cozy nooks to get some quiet time. Located at the end of the drive was a perfect setting only five minutes walking distance to the water. Beautiful sunrises!!! Jamestown itself was a sweet little town with some must sees. Driving time to Newport was under 30 minutes with so much to see and do. The house was well stocked and very comfortable beds. Great place to stay when you visit the area.

This home was in a perfect location for us as it was really close to family we were visiting. It was surrounded by trees and felt very peaceful. The communication with the owner was fantastic and I really appreciated their availability. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. The one note I have is that the bedroom upstairs is technically open to below, so there can be a bit of noise in that room, not a big deal for us, but not something I had not expected.

The house had a deck with the woods behind. Deer came out in the morning. Great fire pit and hammock in the back also. Pictures are accurate. Great proximity to Newport. Nice quiet spot for a relaxing evening after going to Newport. Jamestown has great restaurants and is a very nice old town. I would say be aware that there is a spiral staircase that some people might have a problem navigating. We did not. Property owner was very responsive and nice. We would come back.

Wonderful stay. Short and sweet but it’s the perfect set up for 2 people. Grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here with a house that had plenty of amenities to offer, a beautiful back yard and fire place, and comfortable, clean, air conditioned house and bed.

Loved the pit fire!

We had a nice time here! Had a pit fire every night! It was nice and quiet and easy to get to Newport. The layout of the house was different as the living room was upstairs. Beds were comfortable. Huyen was excellent at communicating.

Awesome outdoor space

Great stay! Super quiet neighborhood. Large enough for the 5 of us and we spent most of the week on the deck and around the fire pit. Coffee every morning on the deck with a family of deer. Reminded us of home. Close to our Marine and restaurants/ stores. Definitely would stay here again.

Peace and Quiet

Nice house tucked away in quiet neighborhood with next to no man made sounds. Close enough to cities without having to drive forever to get there. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to stay not in a city. The only negative "we"(pronounced my wife) had were the pillows. I thought they were comfortable, she didn't. Everyone has different preferences, can't make everyone happy. Definitely use their directions provided and not Google maps. It's not a big deal but Google doea take you to a neighbors house. I don't know when I'll be in Rhode Island again but I'd definitely stay again. Thank you for having us!

This property is at the end of the road with a huge deck and very comfortable deck furniture, fire pit, hammock. Great for cocktails and conversation. The home is nice, a little bit different with living room upstairs. Very interesting spiral staircase. Beds were comfortable. Hosts very accom

Great location, great property!

Check in was great and the host was responsive and timely in doing so when needed. The home is very nice, great lay out, comfortable and clean. The outdoor deck was wonderful and the fire pit was well stocked with wood and in a beautiful setting. We supplemented with additional wood from the Cumberland Farms store. The location was awesome with an easy walk to the ocean and short drive to NewPort. The town of Jamestown is very cute and there was a nice selection of restaurants close to the home. The spiral staircase is a bit of a challenge but the description and pictures make it clear that it exists. Watch your head when walking on the first floor when walking past the spiral staircase. The upstairs is a lovely spot to hand out. The only thing I would say that I would change is the cupboards are filled with a variety of products that I believe previous guests have left so I would clear some of that stuff out of the cupboards. Thanks for a great time.

Peaceful - Relaxing - Cozy

Thank you so much Huyen for allowing us to stay at your home while vacationing in Rhode Island! The home had everything we needed for our stay and so close to all the various activities within the community and surrounding states (we traveled to Mass and Conn too!). And the beds (memory foam) we just what we needed at night for a wonderful restful sleep. We spent most of the day traveling and it was so nice to come home to a place that was relaxing, clean, had all the amenities we needed and quite/peaceful outdoors. Anytime we had a question you replied with an answer immediately...we were so grateful. It was simply a beautiful experience and I highly recommend this rental for anyone considering a vacation in the Rhode Island area. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again!!! Mark

Serene quiet location, close to Newport fun!

We loved our stay at Seashell Cove. The home had everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive and kind. The birdsong in the back of the property is beautiful. We loved coming back to such a serene setting after a day out in Newport!

This property was clean and comfortable. Hosts reached out to make sure everything was in order. Check in was super easy and was allowed to check in early. Super quiet area with large deck with comfortable patio furniture. Highly recommend this home.

Great Stay

Seashell Cove was wonderful. Location was perfectly situated between Newport,Providence and Narragansett. Jamestown was also quite beautiful. The place was exactly as described and perfect for our trip.

Peace and Relaxation Achieved

My family lives in Baltimore City which is always very hectic and can be noisy. Our stay in Jamestown was off the beaten path and just what we needed to recharge. The place itself is lovely, very clean, stocked with everything you need, comfy beds and other nice touches, like kcups for the Keurig and some other food. It’s also very close to other towns in Rhode Island that are fun to visit. The host outlines tons of information for your stay and is always quick to respond! I would definitely come here again in a heartbeat.

URI Family Weekend

Family visit with our daughter who just started her college adventure. It was a very nice private place to stay. Accurate to its description. Comfortable and welcoming, really liked the upstairs family area for family games accessable by spiral staircase. Unfortunately it rained so we were unable to use the fire-pit Hammock and deck area but they looked like a lot of fun. We were able to take a walk to the beach and go to the local town, lighthouse and windmill, very scenic area! Good communication with owner.

Awesome back yard

We were there for my son’s marine training school graduation. It rained the entire time but we did use the fire pit once. There is a deer in the back yard that hangs around and watches you. The upstairs loft was a perfect place for a few displaced Marines to wait for a few hours not at the airport for their flights out. Very cozy place.

Enjoyed our stay

We stayed at 'Seashell Cove' to accommodate family visiting from out of town. The location is lovely, with a big deck and yard -- very private and quiet -- with an easy walk to the neighborhood beach. The deck was well-furnished and there was a nice fire-pit area. The house was well stocked and, with the deck and yard, there was plenty of space for us to enjoy our time together. Check-in and instructions on accessing the property were easy, and the host communicated well -- including responding to a couple of minor issues.
