Peaceful waterfront home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Quiet peaceful location with dock on the water. House is very comfortable. Loved using the dock to catch crabs and have morning coffee.

Property had a beautiful view and deck. There were some issues...door to deck leaked when it rained, one door to deck could not be locked, and front door had to be locked to stay shut. 4th bedroom is actually an area with no door so there was no privacy. Can't really be classified as a bedroom. TV was a challenge to use and no directions on how to. Location was great. We had fun but there were these issues.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed a long weekend at Sunrise Over Little Oyster Bay. It was a rainy weekend but with the dock and easy water access, we fished and went crabbing. We even got on a our SUP board for a bit. The views are amazing.

Overall it is a nice property. However, it needs some maintenance. The main entrance door will not stay shut unless you use the deadbolt. The middle glass door in the back also has issues, very difficult to lock it. In one of the upstairs bedroom one of the shades was broken, There were multiple TV's, but we did not find any remotes that operated them. I guessing someone deleted the programing on them but not sure. At the front entrance there were a lot of spider webs. I took 1 minute and sprayed the rollers on the screen door with WD-40 and it was amazing how much nicer it worked. (as i said just need a little maintenance).Coffee pot was not working. We did find one later in a closet that did work but just get rid of the broken one. We went and bought a cheap one just for the weekend before we found the other one, not sure that it works, but i assume so. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, which is the most important item to myself. As I said at the beginning it is a nice quite property, good location, but it need some general maintenance.

A "Sunrise" Experience Well Remembered

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just completed our third consecutive summer visit (1st was summer of 2023) and booked the fourth (August 2026) on checking out! In our 20+ years visiting Chincoteague every summer, "Sunrise" is by far the best place to stay--the views by themselves are highly worthwhile. Overall, a great experience at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Bay house

Million dollar views of the bay!! We had a great time crabbing off the dock. All supplies were in the garage for that. We're 2 couples. Both Master suites suited us very well. Me and Mom have a high standard of clean. Not everyone does?

Deep hole

The property is not how it’s advertised. To say there is four bedroom is a lie. There are two bedrooms, a sitting area with a bed and a wet basement with a stained smelly futon.

Beautiful location close to everything.

Beautiful location close to everything. House was well appointed. It was not the cleanest but tolerable. Attic room carpet was filthy. Privacy with 7 people an issue as 5 adults shared 1 bathroom. Otherwise great experience. Sheets and towels not provided which for the price is ridiculous. And at the price I paid expecting me to vacuum and take the trash to the curb was a bit much.

Wonderful property with great views. The home is in great shape and we had more than enough room for four adults and two children. We'll definitely rent this home again.

There was no remote for the ceiling fan on the upper level so unable to use it at all. There was a bag of trash left in the kitchen when we arrived. There were no wine glasses. We bought 6 and left them for the next person to use. The futon in the basement was not a good sleeping option at all. One of the chairs on the deck was broken. One suggestion to increase functionality of the pier would be to add a ladder so you can climb out of the water safely after paddleboarding.

Best large home on the island

The fishing and crabbing was so good we shut down operations early because we caught our fill . The facilities are clean and the rental staff is easy to deal with .

Reviewer Comments: The location of the house is amazing, but there were some things needing to be addressed which i told the rental company. There was mold in the top floor ceiling air vents, and mold in the cabinets where pots and pans were stored. The shower upstairs leaked like crazy and the top floor bed frame and mattress were broken and in terrible shape and needing to be replaced.

When I think of a Chincoteague vacation this house has it all. Rooms were very spacious especially the open kitchen and dining area. Balconies were nice and the morning sunrises were gorgeous. We enjoyed eating our dinners out on the balcony also. I would definitely rent this house again.
