Experience awesome waterfront views from almost every room in this lakefront, single story single family home. Both the spacious master suite (king bed) and the great room area have doors to a large, covered waterfront patio adjacent to the beautiful pool complete with waterfall.

The 'west wing' contains another bedroom (double bed) and additional full bath. The den (queen sleeper sofa) is a perfect TV room with double doors to the large vaulted ceiling great room (queen sleeper sofa). A large, fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, two car garage, office with Wi-Fi and FAX, lake view dining area, large master suite, walk-in closet are some of the other amenities you will appreciate.

This home is located in a private lake community (Desert Harbor) and you will enjoy all the amenities of lake living. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets and great 'catch and release' fishing right from your own backyard dock.

Location! Location! Location! There is easy access to the Loop 101 to reach Scottsdale, Downtown Phoenix, Sky Harbor Airport and the many golf courses in the area. Minutes to baseball spring training venues in Peoria and Surprise as well as the Phoenix Coyotes Arena and University of Phoenix Stadium.

This charming home was an oasis in the middle of the desert. My family would definitely stay here again. It was clean and spacious all around the living areas. The owners were always helpful and super kind. They answered any questions with speed and efficiency.

Place in the Sun

We spent a week and loved the place! Inside was so roomy and nicely decorated! The outside was perfect with the pool, canal and sitting areas! We will stay there again!!

We were very comfortable and home had all necessary supplies. Backyard was very relaxing and private. Neighborhood was great for walking our small dog. Close to everything like restaurants, grocery, golf course, freeways and parks. Host/owners were great to work with.

Family enjoyment lakeside...

Not only is this home comfortable, it offered such an experience by having it lakeside. Kids will not forget this stay and I’m sure they’re gonna ask to stay again when we visit grandpa next time. Fishing was incredible, swimming was loads of fun, and the house was spacious, clean, and very well kept. We truly had a great stay!

Peaceful setting on the lake

The house a great location for all sorts of activities, walking, biking and spring training baseball. The house sits on a quiet lake and is very relaxing and the pool was very nice we used it everyday The owners Mark and Barbie were very nice they even brought over a bicycle for me to use.overall a very nice house to stay and I’m looking forward to staying there again

Backyard area is outstanding!

During my six-week rental, I spent countless hours enjoying the backyard area of this home. The home is situated on a lake (more like a series of wide canals) with a lovely pool that includes a waterfall feature; a comfortable, covered seating area; a fire table with cushioned seating; and a gas grill with an outdoor table and chairs near it. This backyard area is truly outstanding!

Absolutely wonderful hosts and property

I honestly wish we could give this property higher than 5 stars. Barbara is a wonderful host, and this home was perfect. Clean, perfect layout, outside waterfront view and a perfect pool. Inside the beds are comfortable, bathrooms very nice and kitchen was awesome. My wife and I have stayed at many vacation properties, and this one checked all of the boxes. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We will be back!!

Great place to unwind by the water!

This is our 3rd time staying here. We enjoy our time here. Being on the lake is so refreshing, you forget you're in the desert. The home is conveniently located. Has all the amenities you need. Each time we've booked this home, the home is always clean, well maintained and combfortable. Barbie and Mark are great and make themselves easily available. You won't be disappointed.

Great time in Peoria

My wife and I enjoyed a 4 night stay in Barbie and Mark's wonderful Peoria home to celebrate our birthdays and my upcoming retirement. The outdoor space is better than the pictures show, as we spent most of time in and around the pool. We also found time to put our own kayaks in the lake, and very much enjoyed the surroundings. The rental property is located near everything you could need. We would love to return in the future. Barbie is a pleasure to work with.

Thanks Barb for letting us use your home for a vacation. The house is great. Lots of space. Well maintained. The pool was awesome, and the lake is amazing. Great fishing for the kids. Our kids barely left the pool the entire time. Only to fish at night and the occasional canoe ride around the lake. The neighborhood is really peaceful and quite. Also the city of Peoria has everything one would need. We even got to see the city fireworks (July 4th) from the backyard. I highly recommend fishing with hot dogs at sunset. Lots of pan fish and the occasional cat fish. With three kids fishing I only had time to remove the fish from one line before the next kiddo had a fish on their line. Very active fishing at sunset. Boating around the lake is a lot of fun too. The house was also well stocked with everything we needed for sleeping and cooking. The kids enjoyed the nice new flat screen tvs as well! The only downside is the Arizona heat in July! But with the lake, pool and occasional retreats to the cool air conditioning in the house it was all wonderful.

We Will Be Coming Back!!

Use to live in AZ so always spend a week each year for some sun and pool. Usually do resorts with 1,000 people but never again. In other locations we have used VRBO so thought we would check one in Phoenix. This was our best stay ever!!! The pool is bigger than pictured and the waterfall was a huge add. Was vacation but we set our alarm just to have coffee by the lake watching the sunrise.The home sits perfect so after a day of sun/swimming it's shaded for some relaxing. Early to bed with view of pool/lake another add,,, great mater suite!! Barbie was easy to get a hold of as we did have questions and concerns. So to be honest with our review the home had not been cleaned as it should have. Barbie and her husband travel in the summer and after speaking with her my thoughts were she needs to get a management company and not rely on a non-professional. We discussed this and I told her I thought she was being charged for something that was not being done. I hope she was able to resolve this because she was very sweet and accommodating. I will be booking again next summer!!

This was a wonderful break in routine for my Aunt. We brought her over for home cooked meals and the wonderful water views. We all, including our Australian Shepherd, enjoyed the visit and staying in a very personal residence.

An oasis that we hope to be able to return to someday.

We enjoyed our stay at Desert Harbor! Everything was just as shown…Beautifully decorated indoors and just gorgeous outdoors…Perfect for visiting with our AZ family. Barbie was great about responding when we had questions and taking care of any and all concerns that came up. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location!

Location, location, location! This property was not only relatively close to my mother who lives in an assisted living home nearby, but having the water in the back yard made this property very enjoyable! My husband fished almost every day or early evening and caught and released fish each time. We were able to prepare and serve a beautiful Christmas dinner for my mother, as the kitchen has everything we needed and being able to order the groceries for delivery made it a perfect Christmas day! We would definitely stay here again when traveling to Arizona to see family.

Great Time!!!

Everything about this place was great. Owner, accommodations and location. The property has everything you need for an extended stay or just a weekend. Shopping is close as well as activities, frankly you don't even need to leave the backyard. Highly recommend this home if your coming to the Phoenix Area! Thanks Curt and Linda

Awesome home away from home!

Our stay over Thanksgiving week was perfect! We live in the mountains in CO but I am a water girl at heart so to have my morning coffee outside by the lake was the best way to start my day!! We enjoyed the home very much-from the pool, lake and the spacious living area, we could not have asked for a better place to spend with our family for Thanksgiving!! The home is in a great neighborhood and is close to grocery stores, all kinds of shopping & restaurants. The hosts are very responsive to questions etc and are lovely to work with! We would definitely stay here again!
