Minutes away from Sea World, Mission Bay, Pacific Beach, Balboa Park and the world famous San Diego Zoo. The San Diego bay, Coronado Island, Lindbergh's runway and breathtaking sunsets over the Pacific all right from your living room & kitchen windows!

PROPERTY SPECIFICS:
- Comfortably sleeps 4 (queen bed plus full pull out couch).
- Recently purchased everything! From furniture to bathroom accessories, to appliances and kitchenware.
- FREE 1GB Wi-Fi and a comfortable work desk (best view in the house).
- Large screen smart HDTV with Netflix available at no charge, or use TV to login into your own service provider.
- Professionally Cleaned in adherence to health safety guidelines and exceeding recommendations from the World Health Organization.

OTHER INFORMATION:

- Kitchen equipped with: Cookware, pots/pans, water and wine glasses, dishes and silverware, can opener, bottle opener, coffee maker, toaster, microwave.
- Other items to know about: Toiletries (soap, shampoo/conditioner), towels, hair dryer, closet hangers, iron and ironing board, Pack-n-Play (upon request and based on availability), and beach chairs and towels for beach use (please help us keep the property pristine by thoroughly brushing all sand off before bringing them back into the property).
- 100% Non-Smoking (of any kind) condo and property.For extended stays we provide initial essentials only.
- Patio/courtyard is shared by guests of three other units, please be respectful and in extreme precaution and consideration for everyone’s health, we ask that you please ALWAYS WEAR A MASK while in public space.

Great for a weekend stay

Cozy stay. Awesome view of the airport with planes landing and taking off. Room A/C felt good and place was clean with comfy bed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Clean and simple

This Vrbo is clean and simple. It doesn’t have anything extra but it has what you need. The pullout couch isn’t terribly comfy but it gets the job done.

Cozy hideaway

My rental was as described on Vrbo. It was a cozy one bedroom condo. Getting around the city by Uber was very easy. However, I did not find it to be a walkable community in terms of access or closeness to retail establishments.

Good on paper

The good: A roof over your head Basic necessities are there The bad: Ants Train nearby passing throughout the night Window area and trim were very dusty Single paned windows making it unbearably hot at night Weak portable AC that is only in the kitchen Uncommunicative host No screen in one window Vertical blinds kept falling off On paper the listing looks okay but upon arrival there were many things that that were off. The host is only available from 9-6 if you are lucky to get a response. We tried texting through the VRBO app and they only responded to select questions. VRBO customer service gave us their telephone number to contact and they never responded to my voice message or texts. The AC is only in the kitchen and cannot extend to the bedroom. The host said there is an additional AC window panel in the closet but it wasn't there. They never responded when we sent pictures of what was in the closet to proove that it's not there. The unit gets incredibly hot. It was about 80 to 85 degrees in the entire unit at night during our stay. With the planes, trains, and heat it was torture to stay here. With this being said, we did come during a heat wave but even if it were slightly cooler it doesn't change the fact that there were bugs and the host was not very responsive. One thing worth mentioning was there was a blackout. Not the owners fault but it did happen during our stay. Street parking was always available. It's close to little Italy and the airport. I would suggest considering another location if you're a light sleeper with the planes and trains passing by at night. If you're checking in after the sun goes down be prepared to turn on your cell phone flashlight because it's dark. The outdoor sensored light flickers similarly to a haunted corn maze. The unit is behind a house and is not visible from the street. To access the rental you'll need to walk to the right of the house and open the gate. The unit is on the top left. The porch lights will not be turned on for you when you arrive. This unit is affordable so if you're willing to overlook some of what was mentioned here you may have a better experience than we did.

Runway view

The apartment was very nice, clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the location in a charming older neighborhood, within walking distance to Little Italy. The runway view was entertaining to watch but the noise level could be an issue for some. Otherwise, we had a memorial stay.

Cute little place close to the airport

Place was clean, cute and as described. Kitchen stocked with the basics mostly. We bought salt and coffee, and some cleaning supplies and left behind for the next guests. You have a view of all the airplanes taking off which was kind of cool, noisy at times but didn’t bother us coming from the Bay Area. It’s right above the bay which was the location of an amazing fireworks show on the 4th of July. Bonus for us cause we had no idea. The only small criticisms I have are street parking was challenging at times. We had a couple times we had to go a block away. And there is no outlet to use a hair dryer in the bathroom. It would be nice if they would leave an extension cord so you could style your hair near a mirror. Also the bathroom door doesn’t stay shut. It’s an older place. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend

Wonderful Place

We stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed the awesome views of the airplanes landing and taking off. Xavier and Kelly were friendly and communicative. We bought a 7 day Go City pass that let us see many of the attractions around San Diego. We mostly used public transportation using the Pronto app as it was cheaper than renting a car and paying for the higher price of gas. We did rent a car for a couple of days and street parking is free and easy to find. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and everything that San Diego has to offer.

Cozy Little Place

The property is very cozy. Located next to the heart of San Diego, allowing for a good time whether you drive or use ride share. I recommend this spot & am looking forward to my next stay here!

Perfect

The space was exactly as described. It had everything we needed. Our hosts were very communicative and helpful. The view was beautiful. The location is perfect. Yes the airplanes are a bit loud but not something I couldn’t sleep through and in the end I kind of enjoyed the sound. Thank you for your hospitality. I loved San Diego and the apartment.

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient

The property had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the convenience of being near the airport. The neighborhood was safe, parking was always easy, and our grandson loved watching the planes! The owners provided all of the essentials, and this was a great home base for us while we explored all that San Diego has to offer.

Good place for the price!

We enjoyed our stay here. The only problem was the noise from the airplanes. I knew we were right by the airport but when the windows are open they are very loud. Other than that the location was great.

Visit to MCRDSD

Cool location just above the runways of the SD airport (but you don't hear much noise from the jets). Very close to the MCRDSD main gate. Nice equipped condo (excellent water pressure!). It was a great stay!

This place is clean, uniquely designed, and private. Great getaway vacation or temporary visit.

This was a special time for me and my wife we celebrated 23 years of marriage and what a great place to celebrate. Having all the amenities needed plus access to everything. Walking, relaxing, and just viewing, to everyone who get an opportunity to stay here you'll thank God.

Amazing San Diego Vacation Spot

We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back again. The house is extremely well appointed with anything and everything you could need. It has a spectacular view and the locations offers so many fun activities around it which are open and allow for social distancing. Thank you Xavier and Heather for providing a great house to stay in as well as overall rental experience. We look forward to staying again soon!

Incredible view, location and space!

Great location, spectacular view and walking distance to Little Italy. Spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We also really loved the work from home desk, the well stocked kitchen and comfortable bed. Easy check in and very responsive host as well. Highly recommend and will be booking again the next time we visit!

Getting around: Most everything is a short Uber ride away, but if you are feeling adventurous there are ferries, cruise ships, train stations, jet skies, bike rentals, sailboats, windsurfing, kayaking and surfboards minutes away. Of course if you are more traditional, Lindbergh field and the car rental building are less than 2 miles away!
