This home is a 3 minute golf cart ride or a 15 minute walk to the beach.

Fripp Island is a beautiful gated resort and nature preserve. It has three and a half miles of pristine beach, breathtaking nature and bike trails. You can walk out on the pier to dolphin watch, or enjoy fishing and crabbing. Golf cart around the island to enjoy seeing all the wildlife around the lagoons and marshes or take a walk on the Audubon Trail.

Just off the island is Hunting Island State Park. We have included a park pass for you to use during your stay with us.

We See’um Rentals Too, LLC manages 25 plus properties. If you inquire about a property & the property is booked for the dates you prefer, we hope we can direct you to another property that will be as good or better for your needs. We like the personal help we can provide our guests when we can speak in person.
Weeklong Stays only - Saturday to Saturday - During Peak Season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). Calendar will show the beginning Saturday that the property is available during that time.

Great spot to reset and recharge!!!

This property was great! The upstairs is perfect for our kids and the master was perfect for us!! We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the gold cart exploring the island, counting deer and alligators! The golf cart is perfect so for the location as you can choose what ever beach acces you want to go to! (Some are shorter walks than others!!). We enjoyed cooking many meals in the well equipped kitchen and the grill out side!! We used the pass and visited Huntington island found sharks teeth and seen the light house! Beautiful clean home was perfect for our family vacation 2025!!! Also the owners were amazing quick response and always had the answers!

This is our second time at Periwinkle! We love it. Golf cart makes it easy drive to beach. Great kitchen ware for families that like to cook! Thanks to We see um for the special touch of having soap, tp, etc for when you first arrive.

Peaceful paradise

This was a beautiful spot totally surrounded by nature. Watching the birds and deer was so wonderful on the screened in porch. A perfect spot to unwind and recharge. Thank you!!

Nature getaway

Lovely marsh location and enjoyed watching the wildlife from the screened porch. Home was very clean and charming. Kitchen was well-furnished (maybe needing a few more kitchen linens). Excellent property manager (B.J. Parrish) and would highly recommend 9 Periwinkle for a lovely nature getaway.

Pleasant Stay

Overall our stay was good. Pros- the location was great, the marsh views were beautiful and waking up to 50 birds feeding in the marsh and deer walking through the back yard every morning was amazing! The house was clean and decorated in a cute coastal style. Loved all the windows….views is every direction and a ton of natural light. Plenty of plush blankets to snuggle on the couch and living room furniture was comfy! Cons- the bedroom down stairs stayed at least 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Thank goodness for the windows, because there wasn’t any ceiling lights in the bedrooms. Some lapses were on switches, but the breaker kept tripping from the golf cart being charged.

Quintessential Fripp!

We stayed at 9 Periwinkle for five nights in April ‘24. The setting is perfect, quiet, and pristine. The house is roomy, clean, and comfortable. We loved having the golf cart and not having to go through an additional rental process. We don’t mind not having amenity cards, so that was not an issue at all for us. We liked being able to walk for miles and miles right off our front porch steps. Very convenient to the beach. We will be back!

Great location and very clean

This is the second time we've stayed at this house and we really enjoyed the views of the marsh and surrounding area. We would definitely consider staying here again. If we had one complaint, it would be that the sliding glass door is very hard to open. Seems like it's something that could easily be fixed. The owner/manager is very responsive and allowed us to have a slightly earlier check in. We really appreciated that! Thanks

Great place

It’s a great place but not for babies or toddlers. The spiral staircase has big gaps. The master bedroom could really use a king sized bed but the listing clearly states a queen. The home is great. Keep in mind that the TV sounds travel up to the loft so it’s hard to watch tv if people upstairs need to go to sleep earlier. Overall, it’s a cute place and we would stay here again as it’s manageable for a week.

Great property

Okay- great property- comes with a golf cart so that made it easier - because having a cart is a must on fripp. Fripp is the best place to go if you want quiet and relaxing! however, this property needs to upgrade their linens. The towels for showering were horrificly small (barely fit my hair tied up)!!! And no kitchen linens at all. Luckily I brought some, as well as extra beach towels. But really- please upgrade. Took us 2 nights downstairs in the full size bed to figure out that the upstairs bed was the queeen size. Whew that was rough! But the place is big enough I don't know why they don't put in a King bed - would be much better for couples that stay in this small unit. Small- but perfect for 2 - 4 people. We had an emptynest vacaay this year - and it was the perfect place for it. Please add some kitchen linens and oven mits!!! hot pads are not for use with the oven- lol!!! And seriously please get better towels. I expect more out of a house at Fripp!!!

Beautiful views

House was perfect for family of 5. Great views, nice house. Only 1 bath towel provided per person so you may want to bring some of your own. Otherwise, the house was perfect and Fripp is always fun.

Lovely and serene!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! We love Fripp, and this house was the perfect place to relax for a quick weekend getaway! Very clean, and the screened in porch was stunning- nothing like enjoying your morning coffee surrounded by peace and beauty! Also loved having the golf cart included, it’s a must for Fripp!

Quiet Brach Stay

Just what we needed to recharge. A couple of days at very quiet and relaxing Fripp Island. House was a nice location not far from the beach but away from the busy area. You need either a bike or golf cart to fully enjoy the island.

It was okay overall

For the most part, we had a great stay. My only complaints are having such an early check out and late check in time, our golf cart was removed from the house significantly early prior to our check-out time in which we had plans to use that morning however could not, the listing advertised having a gas grill and there was not one for us to use, and definitely bring your own towels for the bathrooms and kitchen. Love the view of the marsh and sitting on the screened in porch! The kitchen was very nice too and had plenty of utensils. The location was ideal for us as it felt quiet and secluded.

Great stay

House was great with spectacular views of the marsh. For those with small children, it does have a spiral staircase for the loft. Nothing wrong with it at all, just can be tough with the younger ones!

Absolutely perfect

This listing is aptly named with its two beautiful porches overlooking the stunning marsh! It was exquisite and lacking for nothing. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. Fantastic location and felt very private even though it’s next door to another house. The included golf cart was so fun to have access to and we used it to explore the island and go alligator spotting! The only thing missing are spices and oils for cooking so just make sure you bring your own. Also be advised the upstairs bedroom Is a loft meaning it is open to the rest of the house. It was OK for us but is a little unclear in the pictures so just FYI. The views from the bedroom are stunning too. The host is very communicative and even though this is done through a rental company my communication with Merissa felt very personal :) 100% recommend!

Fripp House

We had a great time at Fripp and this property and the manager we’re very accommodating. The process was easy to use and the property is right on the marsh and very private. The views from the windows were better than expected. We had a great time. Also, great to have the golf cart and grill.
