Cozy home with Private Forest/Park on 1.5 acres, Outdoor lounge area and Hot Tub

Come stay in our renovated home on 1.5 acres in Orchards, Vancouver. Conveniently located 10 minutes from I-205, the interior of the home features an open floor plan with two living spaces, dining room, laundry area, and a kitchen with updated appliances and many kitchen accessories for all your cooking needs. Its a great place for a whole family to stay or to meet up with family from out of town. The home has many games, puzzles, cable and smart TV for inside entertainment.

We have a jacuzzi right outside the back door under cover and an amazing 1.25 acres of private forested park perfect for morning walks, or for the family to just run around. It features a backyard gazebo and lounge furniture, seasonal vegetable garden, open grass areas, a bamboo forest path, and another outdoor seating area with a picnic bench and fire pit (when conditions are allow). There is one parking spot in the covered parking at the house and then many additional spots in the back gravel parking area for other vehicles. The property does have an outdoor surveillance system. Additional details on system will be included in home packet of information.

The home is located with in walking distance to a neighborhood park and bike trails and is a 5 minute drive to many grocery stores and within 10 minute drive to Vancouver mall. Conveniently located only 10 minutes away from the 205, it makes it a great location to visit many Pacific Northwest day adventures, such as Hood River, Columbia River, Portland, PDX Airport, and beyond.

Our host came over and welcomed us to a perfect place to have a 90th birthday party for my mother-in-law. The home was spacious and had everything we needed. The puzzles and games, suitable for all ages, helped entertain everyone. The park setting yard was such a pleasant surprise, simply beautiful, with outdoor games that kept a smile on everyone's face.

This is a wonderful stay. Contact was quick and efficient, the home was very clean. Everything is thought of and amenities were excellent. I booked based on all the excellent reviews and I have to say they deserve them all. The property is beautiful, a hidden gem and would recommend to anyone.

Kitchen is fully stocked, we were able to feed 15-20 guests easily. Towels are wonderful. Hot tub was very enjoyable & they had beach towels for us. This is our 2nd stay & it's so comfortable, our home away from home to visit our large family. Owners are so helpful with any questions we had!

The pictures don’t do this place justice! Yes, it was cozy, but really spacious. We were visiting family in the area who came over for dinner and we had everything we needed to cook and host. My mom enjoyed walking the property with her 5yr old granddaughters and there were plenty of toys and books to keep them entertained. The location was convenient and communication was clear. We’d gladly stay here again on our next visit to Vancouver!

Perfect for a family

This was a great home base for a soccer tournament stay. We didn’t realize just how big the yard was behind the garage. It’s huge! The layout of the home was roomy for our family of four.

Unbelievable view and good location for Seattle access

The description does not do the house justice - lots of rooms and an incredible view of the Seattle skyline. Really nice neighborhood just north of downtown.

Perfect property!

This house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen and bathrooms are well-stocked, the friendly hosts are accessible (if needed), the guest manual is very thorough. An extra bonus is the beautiful area behind the house that has a field, wooded area, and blueberries that can be picked. We have stayed here several times and look forward to another visit!

Perfect! We had everything we needed and more. Our stay was too short to take advantage of all the property had to offer. Even better than the photos !

The pictures don’t do this place justice! You are in the middle of a neighborhood but it feels like your own little oasis.Property was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of room for our family to spread out. Loved the hot tub after a long day. We stay at homes often for sports tournaments and my husband said this was by far his favorite. Highly recommend this to anyone!

Relax and Rejuvenate: Cozy Home & Outdoor Paradise

Absolutely loved our stay at this cozy home! The property was stunning, with a well-maintained forest park right outside the back door. We spent hours relaxing in the outdoor lounge area and soaking in the hot tub. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The owners were also incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.

Quick Weekend Getaway

We were looking for a cozy home to stay in while visiting Portland for a wedding and we certainly found exactly what we were looking for with this house!Our arrival time was a bit later in the evening and Cassandra, one of the property managers, was great and provided all information needed for a late check in. It was smooth and simple for us to get right inside after a lengthy drive.After a long and very cold day of helping with wedding shenanigans being able to get back to the house to enjoy the hot tub was a dream!Even with the property being located right off a slightly busy (not too busy and they have a gate to allow you to close the property off) they certainly set things up to help you feel like you're nestled away in a secluded and private space. You kind of forget that you're only a short drive to the hustle and bustle of Portland.The beds were super comfy (and clean!) and we all slept great for the two nights we stayed!There was no shortage of seasonings, spices, and condiments offered in the kitchen and tons of baking supplies. As part of the wedding dessert crew with some last-minute dessert finishings the ample kitchen appliances were greatly appreciated!The property was also located very close to many restaurants and shopping options which was very convenient!Overall, we had a wonderful time for the couple of days we got to stay and would most certainly stay again if we need a cozy place to stay right outside of Portland.

Beautiful oasis, close to anything you would need.

Immaculate, House , fully equipped with anything you would need to prepare a dinner party. Beautiful grounds, landscaped with lots of places to stop and appreciate the beauty of the PNW. Host was immediately responsive to any messages, I would love to stay here again.

Couldn’t be better!

We had a delightful stay. Their place had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and pillows, lots of towels, games, etc. The hot tub was an added bonus as was the one and a half acres the property is on. The host were great at communication. We were sad to leave.

Family Thanksgiving in Vancouver

The property and accomodations were exactly as stated in the advertisement. The housing accommodations were very neat, clean and well organized. All instructions and expectations were clearly visible and understandable. Our host were very accessible and cordial. It was convenient to have them live next door. Overall our family Thanksgiving was perfect. We would confidently recommend this Vrbo property and one day hope to return. advertisement.

My wife is a retired teacher and I am semi-retired from our family owned business in Hawaii. Our daughter and her family have lived in Vancouver for over 15 years and love it. So when her neighbors' house/dream property went up for sale we decided to purchase it. We always enjoyed coming to Pacific Northwest and now we have our dream home and property available all the time and look forward to sharing it with other while we are not there. My daughter and her husband manager our home and we are so excited to share our retirement home/property with guests.

This home and adjoining 1.5 acres is a dream of ours come true. The home has a wonderful open floor plan with two living rooms (perfect for the whole family to spread out). It also has updated Frigidaire appliances in the kitchen and new flooring in most of the home. Our favorite part though is the back open yard that is a private forested park that includes a seasonal vegetable garden, bamboo forest, and open park like area with Pine and Cherry trees. We also love that this home feels like a secret getaway but it is also within 5 minutes of so many stores and restaurants. With a local park close by and the 205 within 10 minute drive we can get to a variety of activities so easily.

This property is right off a main road but the way it is situated allows you to be close to everything but feel like you are out in the country. It is only 15 minutes from the Portland Airport via the 205 and close to the Vancouver Mall, but just a 10 - 15 minute drive to local parks and lakes.
