Our stay at this VRBO was absolutely perfect! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spotless and well-maintained everything was. The home was not only impeccably clean but also incredibly comfortable, the beds were dreamy, the furniture cozy, and every little detail made us feel right at home.The location was ideal close to everything we needed, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Whether we were exploring the area or relaxing indoors, it truly felt like the perfect home base. We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals, but this one stands out for its thoughtful touches, top-notch cleanliness, and unbeatable comfort. Highly recommend! We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Perfect Mountain Stay

The house was beautiful and met/exceeded expectations. Everything was clean, tastefully decorated, and well thought out. Light switches and drawers were all labeled, and there was a guide to the house and area. The house was conveniently located to shopping, hiking, and food; yet enough away to enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains. We took the walk to Price Lake, through the neighborhood, with the dogs and it was an easy and beautiful walk! We will definitely be recommending the place to others and be back ourselves!

Winter weekend getaway

The property was exactly as presented. So cozy and inviting with a few tasty snacks and beverage waiting to greet us. One of the best VRBO homes I have ever stayed in. Just the correct amount of instructions to make our stay easy and comfortable.

Santa Train

We were heading to Tweetsie railroad for the Christmas train and needed somewhere to stay the night and found this cabin and it was the highlight of the trip! We ended up checking in about lunch and we were shocked to find snow! The kids had the best time sledding and the house was just perfect! It was only 15 from Tweetsie and after the Christmas train the kids were excited to get back and sled some more. We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit and then after relaxed in the hot tub! We only booked for one night but wish we has came a day earlier to have another day at this cabin! We did a quick hike in the snow after check out to the little lake near the property and it was magical as well! We will definitely be coming back to this cabin for future trips!

Quick family trip

We escaped charlottes heat for a night with my parents and my kids. House was large and accommodating for all of us. Beds comfortable. Great location. Home was very clean! Would recommend if your looking for a place to stay with family near blowing rock ( which is a great town) We are looking to stay next time longer and my parents are now looking for a long term rental!

Beautiful Cabin!

The cabin had everything you need. The owners were so pleasant and accommodating The house is close to Blowing Rock in a nice neighborhood. It has a great sledding hill, hot tub and fire pit. The beds are super comfortable.

Perfection!

Everything was exactly as promised. Great location. Beautifully decorated. Tucked into a lovely spot with a large yard to play in. So many important details tended to, including communication from our hosts. Thanks for a fantastic trip. We were sad to see it end, but excited to see it again!

Everything you could ask for in a mountain vacation home. Well appointed lovely property and just close enough to downtown Blowing Rock. Great communication with host and it really lives up to the reviews. My family definitely wants to return for another stay.

Family getaway

Cozy house. Close to everything. Using Holloway Mountain road on and off parkway saves a lot of time! Kids enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub! Kitchen was very well stocked! Kids loved the downstairs couches. (I think they actually fell asleep on them) all in all a great trip!

Perfect getaway

The property was exactly as described and provided an excellent home base for exploring the area. It is secluded but also conveniently located near both Blowing Rock and Boone. The house was spotless, and the owners provided thoughtful small touches like a coffee pods, trashbags, paper towels. We would happily rent the house again.

Fun Girls Get-away

Myself and 5 other nurses treated ourselves to a cozy mountain getaway and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The owners would great and were extremely responsive to any needs. The house was perfect size for 6 girls and had everything we needed! It was very organized and neat. The property had a lot of space and privacy. It was not a far drive to beech and sugar mountains and a short drive to blowing rock. I would highly recommend this to any one looking to get away to the mountains! :) Would love to book here again!

Your hosts are both originally from the NC mountains, so the devastation of Helene hits very close to our hearts as we have family all over WNC. Luckily our cabin and Blowing Rock were spared. While your hosts live just a short distance away, the mountains will always feel like home. Both are very knowledgeable about the area and have a long list of recommendations. We love to share our special place with guests.

Hemlock Hill Cabin is a special place to bring friends and family! It's peaceful yet near all the area attractions. The space has something for everyone with various areas to relax together or on your own. Your hosts are extremely dedicated and detail oriented and the property and beautiful and peaceful. We love sharing our space with guests and want you to have the best mountain getaway.

Large enough to sleep eight, yet cozy for smaller groups. Both the main level and lower level have living rooms with TVs and seating, which give guests enough space to spread out.
