Welcome to our Sweet Suite!
Windslow Guest House offers a unique seaside retreat located at beautiful Kye Bay Beach. We offer a bright and inviting fully furnished self-contained 2 bedroom suite with its own private courtyard and entrance. We are seconds from the beach and 10 minutes from the town of Comox, and 30 minutes from Mt. Washington. Kye Bay is a beautiful beach for long walks along the sandy tidal shoreline, with abundant bird and marine life to keep you company.
Our location within the Comox Valley offers world-class golf courses close by, extensive cycling and hiking trails, watersports, horseback riding, and winter mountain sports on Mt. Washington (approximately 35 minutes away). We are also only minutes from the Comox Airport and offer free pick-up and drop off for your convenience.

The suite has 8 foot ceilings and is open and inviting. It includes washer and dryer, gas stove, dedicated WiFi, CD player, full size futon sofa bed, and a cozy gas fireplace, as well as your own barbeque and portable fire pit in your own private courtyard. This two-bedroom suite offers queen-sized beds in each room and is suitable for one to five people. The master bedroom has a beautiful handcrafted wood bed frame and brand new top-of-the-line latex foam mattress. The quilts are new organic cotton, and there is ample bedding. Each room can be heated separately. The suite has unique lighting that offers dimmable options for setting a more relaxed or romantic mood. The bathroom has beautiful Italian tile floors and a full bath tub and shower. Lots of CD's and great books are available as well as game boards, Netflix, Acorn, Sundance, and Amazon Prime streaming for your using pleasure.

An amazing spot and true gem in the Comox area. We had no idea Kye Bay existed and was this beautiful. This area is serene and peaceful, and the home we stayed at was beautiful. Ronan and Alexandra are amazing hosts. Their suite is fully stocked, very clean and comfortable. The beach is literally across the street and our boys really enjoyed the area. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the Comox area. Highly recommended.

Week at the beach

My sister and I loved our stay here. We had the best sleep ever, very comfortable beds, lovely kitchen, great pressure in the shower, all new appliances, I could go on. Very peaceful location, steps from a gorgeous beach, plenty of wildlife to watch. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Three of us spent four nights here. Great two bedroom suite. It is in a beautiful spot with easy beach access, and the suite is very well equipped. We met one of the property owners and he was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this rental.

Lovely location, steps from the beach

A beautifully set up suite, very comfortable, especially the beds and everything you need at hand. Decor is charming. The hosts are very accommodating, although as a downstairs suite there is some noise from above. We enjoyed our stay and our morning low tide walks. This is a wonderful property in a fantastic location steps away from an amazing beach. The hosts are great - warm, friendly, helpful, and committed to making your stay memorable. Long Weekend at the Beach

We had a fantastic stay in Kye Bay. It was wonderful to watch the air show from the beach and avoid the crowds. Ronan and Alexandraā€™s suite is thoughtfully appointed with all the conveniences to make for an exceptionally enjoyable getaway. We loved the personal touches of the decorations and the friendly hospitality of our hosts. Morning and evening walks on the beach made this a very memorable family vacation. We will visit again.

Fantastic Location

Stayed with Ronan for 10 days this summer. Kye Bay is our absolute favourite beach on the island and this suite is literally across the street from the beach. Excellent pet friendly accommodation. They have thought of everything. Thank you Ronan.

Heaven at Kye Bay.

Windslow Guest Suite was perfect for us. It was neat and tidy and there were even treats awaiting us when we arrived! We had everything we could possibly need and the suite was cozy and bright and cheerfully furnished. Ronan was there to greet us and show us around and he was a helpful and charming host. And of course, we were a 3 minute walk to the beach and we loved our mornings exploring the beach. Our stay was perfect.

Lovely Spot Steps from a GREAT Beach

Such a perfect location for a family with young kids. Fenced in little patio with space for BBQ and outdoor lunches. Excellent facilities. Gas stove!!! Loved the washer and dryer. Impeccable hosts. Visit the shop and see their art and jewellery on Sundays. Just gorgeous. Only tiny complaint is that the sound proofing between suite and their home isnā€™t the best. Our dog sang the song of their people together with their dogs.

Island getaway

We have nothing but positive things to say about this lovely place and its wonderful hosts. From the moment of booking and the enthusiastic response from Ronan and Alexandra, through the check-in process and time at the suite and the check-out, everything was perfect. These are people who know how important it is to feel welcomed - how well that sets people up for a great holiday. We were visiting our children and grandchildren who live in Comox and this was the perfect place for us - close to family but with the ability to retreat to a sanctuary for a bit of a breather. The hosts have thought of everything - there wasnā€™t a thing we looked for and couldnā€™t find (kettles, ample cutting boards, colanders and decent mugs and wine glasses, as well as nice pillows, are among the things that some hosts donā€™t provide, for some reason! But they are all here). Ronan and Alexandra live on the property and are there when you need them only - this is a really private place. Itā€™s clean and cozy and really comfortable- and Kye Bay is not to be beat. What a beautiful place in the world. We wouldnā€™t hesitate to recommend this place.

Delightful stay

We enjoyed our stay in this delightful suite across from a super long beach. There is a playground nearby. Kye Bay is a hidden gem in Comox. I loved the suite - it is beautifully decorated and extremely convenient. Kind of the way you wish your own place was :) Two bedrooms with comfortable beds and night lights. Each room can be heated separately if necessary. We loved it.
