The stay was very relaxing and we enjoyed the beautiful view. The lake was very comfortable temperature wise. We enjoyed the fire pit one night and the spacious deck was a huge plus. The rooms were very big and nicely decorated. The only negative was the coffee machine did t work but we notified the owner and he was quick to troubleshoot with us.

Great getaway in Wisconsin

We enjoyed our time on Lake Arrowhead. The house was spacious and clean. The location on the lake was awesome- we put our boat in at the ramp and enjoyed our time on the water. There's lots to see and do in the area too!

Lakeview

Very happy with our stay. Owner provided a lovely house, games, kayaks (which we used to get to the beach!), life vests, floats, and some outdoor games. View of the lake is spectacular. Yard is spacious. We saw 3 fawns laying in the yard the first morning. Lots of fun.No WiFi, which meant no internet streaming on the TV, however there were lots of DVDs to watch.

Great Family Time

We had a lovely time. The house was spacious and accommodated our 3 granddaughters and 4 adults. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the table was large enough for the 7 of us. The girls loved fishing at the pier and using their kayaks. The deck was large and the view of the lake was amazing! It would have been nice to have a coffee shop within walking distance, but our walks in the neighborhood saw many deer! All in all a great place!

Family Vacation 8/2023

We booked this VRBO to spend time with our family: three grown children, their spouses and two grandchildren. This house met all of our needs. The home was clean, with plenty of bed/bedrooms, big yard for family games, fire pit and boat dock. We enjoyed boating, fishing, the sandy beach, the farmer's market in Rome and Friday fish fry at Hoozel's. We all had a great time. Good family memories were made. Jason S. was very accomadating and pleasant to work with.

Weekend with Friends

The property was great for a handful of activites. We golfed nearby at the Arrowhead lakes course.(Beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife). I spent early mornings fishing from my kayak, the lake can get pretty busy with boat traffic during the day though. There are nice beaches nearby as well with easy access. We had a beautiful view from the deck where we grilled out each night. Evenings were spent playing games and sitting around the fire pit. This house was the perfect getaway for us and our friends. (3 Couples). Thank you!

Perfect getaway location

We chose this property as our first trip since the pandemic, and it was a great decision! The location is so amazing. This lake house has such a breath-taking lake view that just staying here would be a great getaway in itself. There are many fun things to do as a family with a 12 year old kid. My son really enjoyed climbing up the Rabbit Rock, spending several hours at a national park hiking trails, visits to the beach - all nearby this Lake House. The hosts were very kind and welcoming! We felt like our friends were letting us stay at their lake house. The hosts communicated with us directly in addition to the property manager and the experience was one of the best. The property is new, very clean, has great layout (the loft has four beds and one big bean bag which my son really liked, as well as many board games!), and is full of great details all designed to make anyone's stay pleasant and comfortable. The property manager was also very attentive, professional and kind. We also did the campfire, family ping pong tournament (ping pong table in the basement), and grilled some meat! Inasmuch as we took this trip for our son, our son's final words that this was the best trip made us very happy. Our stay was only for two nights, but we were able to enjoy our two days to the fullest thanks to the accommodations the hosts provided us. If you are in nearby states, this will be a perfect spot for a short and compact getaway as well as long relaxing week at the most amazing lake house.

July adventure

Mel and Jason were excellent hosts answering any questions or issues promptly. The house and property are as pictured and in excellent condition. Garage is full of items to keep adults or kids busy. The 2 local beaches and fishing were good. Very relaxing week.

Highly Recommend

This place is even better than the pictures. We stayed in the backyard area all weekend, playing yard games, swimming and enjoying the lake views. The five minute drive to Sand Valley was incredibly easy and convenient. Very clean and responsive host.

Great location for Golf

Our experience was excellent starting with the initial booking through the end of our stay. Our hosts Melissa and Jason were helpful and attentive, offering property tips and local advice. Melissa was always available. We were a group of 3 couples and 4 of us are golfers. Sand Valley is an 8 minute drive away and the Lake Arrowhead golf courses are even closer. The property was clean and we were greeted with a snack basket and plenty of water. 3 bedrooms were perfect for 3 couples. A larger group could stay here comfortably using the loft (single beds). Great place for family vacation

Right from the start the host helped us prepare for our family trip and helped us be sure we would have everything we needed for our family. Their home was perfect for all of us with plenty of space and furnished with everything we needed for our extended weekend. We truly felt welcomed and had absolutely everything that we needed. Loved having lake access for fishing, kayaking and a large yard for the kids, big & small, to play and relax. Was so nice to meet the host upon checking in to their home to get comfortable and be shown where things were. Just an amazing trip with tons of thanks to the host for all they did in helping to make our trip amazing.

Christmas in July

The place was fantastic , held Me my wife four grown adult kids with spouses and 2 toddlers and we had a blast . the pier was perfect for the adults as the water got deep quick and we are all good swimmers . For the young kids there was a public beach near by that had a fantastic swimming area . I fish from my kayak and getting in and out was easy . the lake does get a bit rough during peak skiing time during the weekend but during the no wake times and during the week it is very quiet . nice big yard with lots of room for games and running around with the young kids . Nice fire pit . Well worth the money .

Summer lake fun with family!

Melissa was so accommodating and had everything needed in her gorgeous home. We had so much room for our family of 6 and small dog. The kayaks, fishing dock, large fire pit and hammock made our vacation complete. We rented a pontoon for a full day at Petenwell Lake and Lure Bar and Grill. We will definitely stay again.

Wedding Stay

This is a fabulous place to stay!! Melissa is on top of everything and is willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We used this for our sons wedding, so our family could gather for some family time.

What an awesome Property! Melissa was fantastic in reaching out ahead of time and making sure everything was organized. I really appreciated her help. Awesome yard for long games, or walk 10 min down to the local beach with volleyball nets and swimming. Highly recommend this property and would love to come back!

Excellent lake side getaway

Well stocked kitchen (including a very helpful junk drawer!) and bathrooms, great room setup and bedding, and comfortable for a family group with a variety of ages. We enjoyed the views (especially at sunset), appreciated the comfortable deck, and fishing on the dock. Great space and setup.
