Thank you for choosing our house for your vacation getaway, we were so pleasantly surprised at the Great Condition your family left our house in. We spend a great deal of time at our vacation property cleaning and making sure the presentation we offer our guest is second to none, we're actually a little obsessive with our cleaning we do it all ourselves, no cleaning crew. After reading your review we made notes on the things you suggested that could be beneficial for us to add such as more TV's and possibly and stack washer and dryer in the future. We were very sorry to learn the house did not live up to your standards. We will definitely work on improving the property thank you for your suggestions. We would like take the opportunity to communicate to our future guest a more specific description of our location and surrounding neighborhoods with hopes of making our out of town guest feel safe. The vacation property is (0.1) miles from the beautiful complex that houses James Madison University Baseball and Women’s Softball Teams two of the most beautiful baseball and softball fields you will find anywhere in the country. We have hosted many guests who have visited our NY Avenue vacation home accompanying their children who are attending instructional baseball camps or high school play off games.Our vacation home is most appealing to visiting parents of JMU students and JMU alumni returning for class reunions. We actually had a family of (6) rebook with us (2) of the boys were playing in a high school tournament (1) child much younger and (1) toddler. The mother commented to my wife how safe she felt walking to the baseball park with the toddler in a stroller and the additional bonus of walking by the local coffee shop in route to the ballpark. We're also conveniently located within walking distance to the JMU football Stadium and the main campus by Wilson Hall. The diversity of the neighborhood made this property the perfect investment. I hope the extra details supporting the logistics of the neighborhood will be helpful to future travelers when visiting The Friendly City. We do keep the door to the unfinished basement locked mainly as a safety precaution for families visiting with children. Thank you again for visiting. It always a pleasure to have guest like Beth. The Communication was great and we were so glad to hear how much Beth's family enjoyed their stay while visiting their daughter at college.
