Just minutes from the Medinah Country Club. This rural retreat is the perfect place for rest and relaxation. 8 min drive to the train station with services to downtown Chicago. Close to Ohare airport. The home is spacious with an open layout that features 4 large bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a dining room, a dual fireplace, a large kitchen and plenty of space to entertain. There is a large balcony complete with patio furniture and a gas grill. The basement is finished and great for entertaining and playing a game of pool with a brand new pool table. There is free parking on premise, cable TV, free WiFi, washer/dryer.

Spacious and peaceful location

The location was unbeatable, a country oasis in suburbia, but close to everything. We were also impressed by the beautiful grounds and the expansive outdoor living area – it was the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Inside, the home was spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. They've thought of everything here; the property was packed with amenities and supplies, making our stay so convenient and enjoyable. We highly recommend.

Tree House

The treehouse was our temporary housing as we relocated to the area, we stayed for a month. The neighborhood is great, the property manager was excellent. We enjoyed our time.

Missing the Tree House

The property is remarkable, especially this time of year, with unhindered views of the lake. The deck is amazing, complemented by the gas grill and plenty of seating for guests. This is a very private property in a friendly neighborhood. If you take a short walk to the lake (across the street), you will often run into others walking their dogs or just out for a breath of fresh air.

Great neighborhood

Location is convenient yet private. I love sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife. Owners are attentive, and the property is of great value.

Great Spot for a Multigenerational Family Stay

Our family, including parents, grandparents, and kids had a great stay here while visiting family and attending a wedding in the Chicago area. There was plenty of space for all of us and we loved sitting out on the patio.

Wonderful Home!

This was the perfect base camp to visit family and friends and attend a big wedding in the Chicago area. This trip was like a reunion, for we hadn't seen many of these folks in over two years. The Tree House was a great place to relax and unwind after our visits and events. Inside, the house was well designed, updated, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen-living-fireplace area a great place for our family to hang out. If you love music from the 60's/70's/80's there is an incredible collection of LP records with all your favorite bands and hits - everything from Aretha Franklin to Led Zeppelin. The analog sound quality from the turntable/stereo system was amazing! We would sit out on the deck listening to some classics while admiring the huge oak trees in the yard and beautiful parkland pond across the street. Jackie and her dad were very attentive and prompt in responding to any questions.

Family Vacay

We enjoyed the house so much. The pictures don't do it justice. The house is beautiful, but the deck overlooking the lake steals the show. The last day we were there my family came over for BBQ and it was great that everyone could get together in the gorgeous house.

Beautiful House

We absolutely loved this rental. The location was great, the house was immaculate and the space was exactly what we needed as we were traveling to see my in-laws and wanted to prepare dinner for all of them while we were in town. We will definitely be staying here again next year!

Everything was perfect

Jackie thought of everything to make our stay absolutely perfect. Well supplied with lots of items that you may have forgotten.The house is spacious enough to spread out for quiet time or cluster together with the whole group. we enjoyed coffee on the deck with the bonus lake view, reminisced with songs from the massive record album collection, and enjoyed our long overdue family reunion. There is something here for every age and every gender. This home will be our "home away from home" when we travel to the Chicago in the future.

Tree house stay

This is a vintage home that has been updated, but still has lots of vintage charm. It is located nicely in an older well established neighborhood, great for walking. We were there to attend a wedding and enjoy some family time and it was just perfect for the 4 adults staying there.

Beautiful Sanctuary with the Comforts of Home

The pictures do not do this beautiful sanctuary justice. There was a huge back porch where my family sat in the morning to drink coffee and watch the lake across the house. The lake was active with geese and there was a bench where you could sit across from the house and watch the lake in peace. The grounds were stunning and peaceful. We had all the comforts of house. Each bed was comfy. Couches were comfy. The owners had provided fresh cut wood for the fireplace which created a wonderful evening ambience. Awesome little touches everywhere. The bathrooms were large with plenty of towels - bedrooms had plenty of sheets and bedding for multiple days. Coffee pot and Keurig for coffee options. The kitchen was excellent for a large family gathering and even a pool table downstairs for the kiddos. Train station was only a few miles with parking for a quick trip to enjoy the city. We can’t wait to go back!

The Treehouse

We had a family reunion and 40th birthday for my son. It was amazing in this beautiful home. Close to O’Hare and convenient to shopping and restaurants. We played some of the many albums, some pool and had friends over for a cookout on the deck. There’s even a red winged blackbird that hung out with us, probably guarding a nest in one of the many beautiful trees. Hope to return someday to enjoy the “Treehouse”again.

Amazing Views from EVERY ROOM! This home was perfect for out stay! Fantastic, very safe exclusive area, beautiful custom home, great great fir family! Newer kitchen & baths, large rooms, fireplace, patio and balcony overlooking the lake, beautiful birds and geese. Pictures cannot describe how nice tge feeling was here! So highly recommended. 💗

Beautiful Property

Our stay in this wonderful home was outstanding. Lovely home in such a beautiful setting. Views out of picture perfect windows in almost every room. Location was convenient to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. Also enjoyed the unbelievable record collection. Would most definitely recommend. Ms. Jackie was a wonderful host, very accomodating and charming.

Fantastic stay

We stay at VRBOs often and this property does not disappoint. Amazingly easy process/back and forth and friendly owners that were super accommodating to our situation. Home is fab and undersold in overview. Land is stunning, incredible outside space and views of ponds/nature, etc. Highly recommend for those in town or visiting Chicago.
