"Blue Haven" overlooks beautiful, full-rec North Twin Lake. Sitting on the site of the old Twin Haven Lakeside Bar, it's the perfect lakefront destination in Wisconsin's Northwoods for a family get together, fishing adventure, or romantic getaway. This newly constructed vacation home has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and tons of common area space to enjoy and celebrate your vacation with your family and friends.

The home has a full kitchen, laundry room, two common areas and warm living room with gas fireplace. Just steps from the water, swimmable frontage awaits you for all your lake activities. A huge deck opens out from the living room providing wonderful views of the lake and night sky. The kitchen is fully furnished, you don't need to bring anything except your shore lunch.

Blue Haven is two levels, with two bedrooms and a full bath on each floor. Both bathrooms have twin vanities and both first floor bedrooms have queen beds. One lower level bedroom has a three person bunk bed and the other has a twin over full size bunk bed. The large lower level sitting room has a patio door that opens out to the lake.

North Twin Lake is a "Class A" muskie lake spanning 2871 acres with excellent fishing. It connects to South Twin Lake which adds another 628 acres to explore. The lake is a favorite for water enthusiasts of all kinds and is known for it's clear water and fishing structure. A row boat and kayak are provided to help you enjoy the lake right from the Blue Haven dock (please note, the dock is typically in from mid-May to mid-October)!

Just fifteen minutes from Eagle River, you're close enough to enjoy all of the Northwood's activities, which include shopping, biking, golf, wine tasting, and more!

Beautiful home, beautiful scenery, close to several of the places we wanted to go to. Owner was easy to communicate with and was prompt with replies. We had plenty of room for our trucks and snowmobile trailers. The driveway had a slight hill and got a bit icy the day before we were leaving and the owner quickly accommodated us with having someone come pour some sand down so we wouldn’t get stuck. We highly recommend this rental!

Very clean and comfortable. We were all part of the annual musky tournament and there was plenty of parking for 5 trucks and 3 boats. The most amazing part of the stay was the amount of bald eagles that flew right in front of the house. There were at least 3 juveniles and 2 mature eagles that flew through, caught fish in the lake within view, and sat in the trees along the short. Absolutely incredible experience!

Very clean, comfortable, nice deck, nice lake. The only things we could have had better would’ve been a few more kitchen supplies like ziplock bags that our group all forgot, extra towels, and to know it was a charcoal grill (which was fine but not clear to us from the site). We all enjoyed it here!

Northwoods getaway

We rented with our 2 sons for family vacation last ver the 4th. Hime was very spacious and perfect for our family. Great location and beautiful view of the lake. The only issue we uad was the kids got swimmers itch but our host did inform us that could happen so we were prepared with supplies! Overall perfect rental!

This was an annual fishing trip with the guys. We have been going on an annual trip since 1989 (started with camping, graduated to cabins). This was one of the best places we stayed. We had seven adult males, and there was just enough room for all of us (although I am not sure how much longer we can utilize the bunk beds). The place was very clean and it had everything we needed for a good time to be had by all. We did catch fish and utilized the fish cleaning house. The dock was large enough for our boats and the public launch was not that far away or hard to find. The house had plenty of storage spaces. The walkout basement was nice and the deck with a view was awesome. We were lucky to have found this place and be able to book!

Nice but not private

Very nice updated house well laid out for family however no en-suite. Great view of large lake with very nice porches. Unfortunately, it’s not very private. About ten houses are on the property so lots of comings and goings with no buffers between properties. Having a 9 am checkout is the earliest I’ve ever experienced

Conover Visit

We had a wonderful time! The property is incredibly beautiful, and it was a true blessing to stay in this cabin. The only challenge we had was a smoke alarm in a secure area that was low on battery and kept beeping. We had a toddler sleeping in that room, and as a result, we could not use it because it was too distracting. We contacted the property manager, and she indicated she would come on a particular day, and did not. We reached out two more times and she never came or responded to text messages. Other than that, it was an amazing week! Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Over all the house was nice and clean. The dock didn’t have any easy access to dock our boat. We ended up having to tie it up under the dock to the legs. This place is more suited for family stay than adults.

Northwoods Condo Getaway

To begin, we have done a number of cabin rentals at varying places in the US. We were a bit surprised when we pulled in to find that it was certainly more of a condo than a cabin. There were multiple dwellings close to one another and somewhat confusingly laid out. But, after figuring out where to park and carefully entering in the muddy/icy driveways, the view is spectacular. The cabin was absolutely newer and clean. Quite a bit of space to stretch out for a group. Kitchen, bathrooms in good repair. Furniture was pretty beat up, scuffed up. We had nothing but trouble with both the TVs in the cabin. One has a white line in the top and the sound goes in and out. The basement tv power cord is junk so it completely turns off and on. Unfortunately the basement was freezing! Hard to make the kids sleep down there. The beds are very cheap, quite uncomfortable. The bedding was quite minimal, especially for a Wisconsin winter. The kitchen had plates etc but a lot of food preparation items and pans were in very poor repair. One of the front burners did not work. Ice machine in fridge was fickle too. We were able to do some fun ice fishing on the large, beautiful lake though. And overall it was a cozy stay. Just a lot of misleading things about the pictures, no grass to speak of as cabins next door are under construction so it’s a muddy/icy mess. Would perhaps go back but for the price; the non functioning tvs, cheap beds, etc were disappointing.

Beautiful home

Excellent stay ice fishing. Our second visit. 5 stars with a few possible improvements, ..some mattresses need upgrading. A few more small nightstands would be helpful. Salt and pepper and/or spices not supplied. Overall, an excellent experience!

Family get away

We enjoyed our visit. The property is beautiful and so was the view. My son and daughter in law enjoyed paddle boating on the lake. We fire pitted and enjoyed the stars. The property was very clean. The bed in the room we stayed in could use a new mattress

Great Spot for Family

My family goes on an annual sailing vacation (with little sunfishes) and this location was perfect. The lake is excellent with lots of space, great wind, and not many other boaters. The home is spacious, clean, and beautiful. The downstairs was great for my toddler. There wasn't decorative clutter anywhere that he could reach. There was plenty of space for us to hang out together, or separately. The kitchen had all the cookware we needed, but there is no pantry items (including salt, pepper, oil, or other basics). There also isn't dishwasher detergent or wash cloths (for showering), so bring your own. As beautiful as the house is, the furniture is "well used". The beds are really creaky and some are uncomfortable. Some of the indicators on the stove don't work. The dining table is wobbly. I would guess it's just due to being a rental property. Also, it was pretty cold in the basement (where the bunk bed rooms are), so bring warmer pajamas. The internet was slow for us, but there were also 6 adults, so it makes for a lot of devices. Overall, the location and the building are incredible. I would stay again. I just wish I knew that I needed dishwasher detergent and slippers.

Very nice property, but the contents were lacking.

The location, house, and property were all very good. It was quiet, clean, and the view/proximity to the water was great. The listing said beach towels were provided and upon arriving the owner said they were not. There were only a few clothes hangers in the closets, and no dressers or chairs in most of the bedrooms so we lived out of our suitcases all week. There were no life vests for the kayaks which was not addressed in the listing, not enough seating in the upstairs or downstairs of the house for our full group of 7 adults to be in one place together (someone was always sitting on the floor) and only two plastic chairs and two bag chairs for around the campfire that were all in pretty rough shape. A table around the grilling/ campfire areas would be nice, we had to set dishes and things on the ground. There were no grilling tools and a griddle would be nice. The deck on the front of the house is really nice, but it is full sun until about 6pm so something to provide shade would have been really nice sincr it was to hot to sit out there all day.

First Time on North/South Twin

Extremely nice and attractive cottage. More than enough room for our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 eight year olds). Kids were able to catch and release pan fish from the dock. In the evening fishermen were casting for bass along the shoreline by the cottage. We primarily fished South Twin for muskies and had a couple of followups. The only down side to the cottage was the constant battle to keep from tracking sand into the cottage. Would definitely recommend staying here.
