Great getaway

We had a great time staying here we love the location and the property management was excellent. We would love to come back. Was a great size for our family. They have a great outdoor seating area too.

Comfortable home in Rockport, Texas!

Enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of space for our two cars. There was lots of seating available in the living room and also at the two tables.

Home was excellent. Clean, very large home with room for a large family or several families staying together. Well stocked with everything we needed. Large yard, quiet neighborhood. We were there for a month to just relax and be lazy which we were able to do. Only two miles from town and beach. Host has very excellent communication skills. Questions answered immediately. Memorial holiday

Easy to find. Having to get out of car to open/ unlock gate everytime was a bit annoying. Everything we needed was available in the home. I didn't receive an exit requirments email. But we did take dirty bedding and towels to laundry room and ran dishwasher before we left. Thank you for letting us use your home for our vacation

Thank you for your feedback. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. The gated yard is nice for children, but guests are more than welcome to leave the gate open. Per the exit instructions, we only ask guests to lock up and set the AC to 78 upon leaving and we’ll take care of the rest. Thank you for going the extra mile and tidying up! Misleading

It is listed as wheelchair accessible and it is to only part of the house. The bathrooms are not handicapped safe, there are no safety bars at all the shower is not safe. The larger bathroom is only accessible from outside are down two large steps.

Good for what we needed

We needed a place located near my parents’ house where my family could sleep after spending all day with my parents. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. The laundry room was very nice and much appreciated. Unfortunately, the yard was filled with painful sticky burrs, so we couldn’t use it much, but we didn’t really need it, so it was okay. Also, there was no shampoo (the owner had told us there would be shampoo, so we didn’t pack any), so we had to run out to get some. Fortunately, there was a Circle K about a block away, so that was convenient. There were a few dead roaches in the bathrooms when we arrived, but we saw that as a sign that there had been extermination services because at least they weren’t alive, haha. All in all, this home served our purpose and gave us a good night’s rest.

Excellent Accommodations!!!

We stay in Rockport once or twice a year. This place was the cleanest place ever. It was very stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, clean towels, kitchen utensils, etc. Our 80+ year old parents had all the accommodations they needed! Our 14 year old daughter and her friend had all the accommodations they needed. The owner was very accommodating and answered all questions immediately. We would definitely recommend this place!

Hello! We're a family of 4 with two little girls who live in rural Texas. With our work schedules, we rarely found the time to take vacations. We wanted to find a place we could go to disconnect and truly vacation without the time commitment of traveling out of state, and we found Rockport! We fell in love. Our girls LOVE the beach, and I was so impressed with how clean both the water and the beach is here. The waters are calmer, so we didn't have to worry about the waves killing our children, and they even have playground areas on the beach! We love the shops, the seafood, the culture, history and character of the town, and proximity to other activities (fishing, aquarium, etc.). We can't move here due to our work situations, but we really found our vacation spot and I can't wait to make memories here with our children!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Because of our children, we wanted to find a place that had an enclosed yard where they could play. We also wanted to be able to entertain our friends and family with a space that was big enough, and we felt the 3 bedrooms would be perfect. We love the patio space, and our kids love the spiral staircase that leads to their own special play area. Because we're not right on the water, the neighborhood is quiet and yet still close to all activities.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We don't own a boat or an RV, but we loved that the property had that capability. We have family who love to fish, and there's already an area set up outside with water to clean fish (or easily rinse off sandy toes). Also, the house has a handicap ramp for the main part of the house.
