Upon arrival, the exterior landscaping is unkept and overgrown. Couldn’t walk on the sidewalk in the front from the driveway to the side entry door for overgrown plants. Neighborhood is overcrowded with cars on the street. Backyard is all gravel with weeds protruding up through the gravel. The charcoal grill was full of old burned charcoal and ash. I reached out to the property manager about it, and their reply was dump the debris out into the backyard and “give it a little brush” with the overused wire brush provided. One of my filters when searching for a house, is a grill. We like to have steaks one night and were unable to do that on this trip. The thermostat on the wall is digital. Only thing that can be adjusted is the temperature. Upon arrival the temp was set on 75. We lowered it to 70. After we went to bed the first night, the house got hot, upon inspection around 4:00am, the temperature had moved back up to 75. That is unacceptable and totally uncalled for. The hot tub was nice, but the exterior lights have broken and missing lights around the back porch. We didn’t play pool as it was too hot in the garage and the lighting over the table is a single light bulb. The hall bathroom faucet is broken and only operates as a shower. It looks like the house just needs a few repairs to be a much better experience.

Trip to TX

This place was perfect for my friend and I during our week stay in May. Hot tub out back worked perfectly and the house was clean. Pool table in the garage was a little beat up, but we passed that off to previous guests over the years. Neighborhood was quiet and there’s a park right down the street. The heating element went out in the dryer while doing laundry one night. We contacted the owner and he had it fixed the next day. Very fast response time and very accommodating. Would definitely book again if I visit the area.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay

There is so much I could say, but I will just say this was the most homelike experience I’ve had with a rental. The home was very clean, cozy and had all the amenities we needed for the stay. The host was gracious enough to be there for support if needed. The location was great as well. If I decide to visit the area again, I will definitely check this home’s availability before any others.

Delivering Furniture

We needed a place to stay with a pet, and this allowed us to even host a little dinner party with a mix of hus and mine family. Great place, we enjoyed not having to deal with being in a hotel for those 3 days as well. Felt like a place to be.

Will book again, when in the area!

We had a very quick stay but enjoyed our time there. We were there for a wedding, so we did not use hot tub or anything, but will book this place again when we go back to town if it is available!! Host was very attentive, and everything was wonderful!

Easy access to variety of freeways

I can see why people have rated this one so high. Responsive host and nice, clean property. Easy to get on 45, 130 and also I-35. Also 290 East is not far. Good price for all that you get. I could really see two young couples renting this place for a long weekend in the Austin metro. Enjoyed the nearby Springhill restaurant. Two different HEB stores in the area. Central Market is a bit of a hike. There is a Brewhaus in old town Pflugerville that we never tried.

We had a short stay, but the house had all the items plus more one may need. Host answered all the last minute questions I had quickly. We enjoyed listening to the records! Thank you!!

Quick Visit

Stayed for 2 nights while seeing our son in Austin. The hosts were great with check in instructions. We read the other reviews and definitely used the hot tub both nights. Covered patio and the shades allowed us to enjoy the rain from the hot tub. Overall great experience. Thanks for sharing your place.

Pleasant Stay

Home in a quiet neighborhood with a hot tub that we were able to use twice and a pool table that we used daily. House is in a neighborhood near the highway for easy access to downtown Austin. We enjoyed our stay!

Cute place to stay in Austin

Very cute, clean home in a great location close to Austin. Evan made sure we were all set and checkin was a breeze. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the the game room. We had a great experience and definitely stay here again

Great house and hot tub

We stayed 2 nights in this lovely home. The owners were so nice and considerate, great communication. The house was well taken care of and had all the typical amenities. There was a hot tub which we used once and certainly wished we had used it both nights! It was so nice after a long day out. The musician decor throughout was great. Thank you for a great stay!

Great stay and communication

We enjoyed our visit to Austin for my daughters UT graduation. I specifically look for homes with games and pool tables so we can enjoy family time together. The hot tub was great too.

Great Stay

We had a great time staying here for Easter weekend. My 16 and 20 year olds especially loved the pool table and dart board. The house was close to everything we needed!
