Bee trip

The quality of the beds were great. Always slept like a baby. We loved the view and the pools and hot tub was delightful.

We liked the unit. Flooring was fine, some scuff marks. Would not let a child play on it. Carpet ...

Clean unit. Clean, and very comfortable beds. Good view. No issues with bugs. Would stay here again. Checking in and out was easy.

Beautiful Room and View

The room was very nice. Had everything we needed. The view was great. The room is showing some wear and tear. The pull out couch should not be considered a "bed" - you could feel the springs coming through. The other beds were ok. The jetted tube was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. And the AC worked perfectly. It was very clean when we arrived also.

Housekeeping needs improvement

When we first arrived, I noticed our nightstand in middle of bed room and tv was on. I thought this was odd, and looked behind the nightstand and there were chips/candy wrappers and lots of crumbs. I did report to front and they said they were sorry, they had some new housekeepers. They promised our sheets had been changed and I asked about our Murphy bed. They also said they had been changed. When we pulled it down for our son to sleep, the sheets looked beige and looked so dirty. We were disgusted. I had to go down to the front desk at midnight to get new sheets to put on. Very disappointed in this room. I ended up cleaning all surfaces and bathroom in case our room had not been cleaned at all. We felt very uncomfortable the entire stay.

Would stay again

We took a spontaneous trip to north Myrtle for shelling. The condo was clean minus the floors were NOT mopped. Our feet were black and nasty within 5 minutes of arrival. Bc it was such a short trip it wasn’t worth having someone come in a mop. The double beds were a little smaller than I expected but they were comfortable. The couch and chair could be updated but everything else was nice. Overall I’d stay in this condo again. We’ve also booked a stay in April for a different condo for our whole family. The air conditioner wasn’t working on the second day. Surprisingly in January during the day it actually heats up the condo. We set it to 65 and the temp didn’t drop below 77. They said they would send a professional within 30 minutes of their maintenance guy trying to fix it but no one ever showed up. Luckily I found a fan and we made due for the night. Thankfully it wasn’t the heat of summer. The breakfast place in the center tower was decent. Only thing is they do not offer a breakfast buffet during off season. We tried to go to the third tower for dinner but when we walked in the music was blaring and too loud for a 1 year old. Was definitely more of a bar than a family restaurant. So we ordered Olive Garden instead. Wish there weren’t so many different codes to this place. Front door had a code, room had a 9 digit code, gate to beach had a code (which we were not told and neither were a bunch of other guests) all pretty small things. I did NOT see a single bug. I checked for bed bugs and didn’t see any.

Stay just ok.

Great location, unit was OK, clean. Kinda small unit. Murphy bed bedding had not been changed from last rental. Sand on blanket and sheets. Turned lights on in bathroom in middle of night and saw 2 roaches and small black bugs next morning. They could have come in from door but pest control came and put out traps and bait. Had no more sightings. Housekeeping brought new bedding but instead of changing bed she just stood at door and handed me a bag of bedding.

Nice views, directly above the heated pool.

You will be right above the heated pool that is open until 11pm. It was pretty noisey. The sofa and chair are dirty, beds are loud and not comfortable. We found no oven mitts, one full size plate.

Very nice

Perfect size for what we needed. Very clean and well appointed. There was some rust on metal things like lamps and the coffee maker. Also a broom would be handy. Everything worked wonderfully and was very comfortable.

Great place for kids

The place and amenities are great for kids. We did have maintenance fix the front door from sticking and replace the tv in the living room while we were there, but I won't knock it because I run a hotel and know all about wear and tear. The baseball team was very content. We literally did not leave the resort unless we were at baseball. I'm sure the team will be back again in the Fall.

Not too bad

Overall not too bad. This was the 5th year in a row that I have stayed here. Still have a ongoing issue with people smoking on the balconies I know that this is very hard to stop but also I can't sit on my balcony without smelling smoke. It was somewhat better this year but not stopped. I also had issues getting into my unit this year the key card didn't work correctly and had to get maintenance to come and let me in once. He said that it was the locks. Yes I would probably stay here again overall it's not a bad place. I would like for the management to try and figure something out about the smoking on the balconies this is very hard for non smokers to enjoy the balcony.

Would not stay here again.

It was poorly decorated and needs a makeover.The couch and chair were so worn out I wasn't comfortable sitting on them without a sheet being over them.There were chunks of trim and doors that looked like a dog had chewed on them.The bedroom had a damp feeling, the carpet was gross and we did not feel comfortable at all.It had an overall just not clean feel to it.We stayed because I had to pay in full months ahead of time but, I would never stay here again.

Great property for the price!

We thought Bay Watch was a very nice property, although we could have done without loud music all day and a good part of the night. If you had someone sleeping on the Murphy bed in the living room, they certainly wouldn't get any sleep. We weren't expecting much as the condo was extremely reasonable. It is severely in need of new furniture and updating. The view, however, is amazing and the unit was sufficient for our needs and mostly clean (I'm very picky). We liked the Tiki Hut drinks and all the employees at the resort were friendly and helpful. All in all, we have paid twice as much for the same type of property in other locations so we felt we got a really good deal. We also picked the perfect week with no crowds and amazing weather! The only drawback is the garage which is really far away, but it was manageable. We had a lot of fun! Thanks Bay Watch!!

Decent stay... terrible parking, beach access, and late night noise.

The property was ok. Needs some upkeep and updates. Remotes did not work for either TV. Door lock to the balcony broke and was not fixed properly to allow it to be locked. The parking garage spaces are very small making parking difficult. Our vehicle was hit while parked but luckily the person was honest and reported the accident to the front desk who called police to file an accident report. Other than that - the week's stay was ok.

Nicely updated, comfortable, on the beach

This was a very nice updated unit. Looks exactly like the pictures and it was clean. Some little details could be better accounted for. There was dish soap but no sponge, there was coffee packets but they didn’t tell you how many cups they made, there was not even one small bottle of water in the place, just minor things like that. The view was amazing. You are right on the ocean and the convenience of that with two small kids was priceless. Some things to know - it’s a bit loud, you can clearly hear your neighbors and in the living room the noise from downstairs. This wasn’t enough to hinder our sleep. There’s a lot of people. So the pools are crowded, the beach is crowded, there is typically a wait to go sit and have dinner. The garage is a bit of a walk which is inconvenient if you have small kids like we did. Overall - we were very happy with the building and service we received. We didn’t have any issues with anything while we were there. I would recommend this unit.

Bay watch

It had a great view of the ocean. It did not have a frying pan in the kitchen to cook eggs/ bacon / sausage for breakfast. It was clean inside and the beds slept well.

Great Resort but not this condo

The resort with its 5 heated pools and 2 lazy rivers is a great resort. However at checkout I gave them a list of problems with the condo. Also the kitchens are very small in the one bedroom condos.

Beach Time

The property exceeded my expectations. The condo was larger and nicer than expected with a gorgeous ocean view. The property offered many amenities with Safety measures in place and it was very affordable. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay at a Great Price.

The condo was very nicely updated, and clean. The oceanview was great. The price was good for the time of year. Friendly staff during check-in/check-out, etc. Happy with our stay.

Perfect Winter Getaway!

I came down with my chihuahua and mom in February to look at some condos for sale. The unit smelled clean and looked clean. Photos online represented the unit very well. I would book this unit again during the off season. (I can only imagine how crowded this place would be during the Summer, and that's not for me!)

It was an ok stay!

Love the Bay Watch because I stay here all the time, usually in the 3-bedroom condo. There’s a lot of rusted items that need to be updated/replaced though.
