Beautiful home in a very nice and picturesque area. Very quiet neighborhood but not too far from town. Home is very well equipped with tvs, games etc. Kitchen has very nice dishes and cookware. This home met all of our needs. We hope to return again in the future

We had the most wonderful time enjoying the spacious, well accommodated cabin with breathtaking views of the mountains! The beds were all very comfortable which is a rare find! The wifi and satellite let us have the conveniences we are used to and for entertainment. I felt like home in this beautiful, peaceful spot, a bit of heaven. The host was responsive abd helpful as well. We can’t wait to return and extend our stay! Highly recommend. Westcliffe is a quick jaunt away to get foid, enjoy the shops, etc. We loved Quintessential cabin!

Extremely quiet and peaceful location. We spent the evenings sitting on the back porch visiting and enjoying the peacefulness. The cabin is as advertised and we will plan to rent again when in the area.

Family Getaway

We were visiting family in town and booked this cabin. It was a beautiful cabin nestled in the woods. It was a perfect amount of space and we really enjoyed sitting out on the back deck enjoying the outdoors.We would definitely visit again!

Perfect Cabin

We've stayed in a lot of rentals, and this one is probably the only one that I haven't thought, "Oh, it needs this, or it should have that" We have friends in the area and we'll be back for sure!! Hopefully we can stay here again!

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin is beautiful! The kitchen is well stocked and the location is peaceful and quiet while still being near town. We enjoyed dinner on the patio and watching gorgeous sunrises on the mountains. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to come again!

Beautiful cabin in the woods

The cabin is so lovely, and the kitchen is well stocked. Dave is very kind. We had a peaceful week away from our crazy life to just relax and enjoy the snow.

We had a lovely Christmas and had an enchanting and relaxing time. The property was clean and absolutely lovely. Property owner was very accommodating and helpful.

Truly Wonderful

We had an absolutely lovely stay. The house and grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Very easy check in and check out process, fantastic location for access to all the wonderful trails in the Sangre de Cristo mountains, as well as fascinating historical places to visit in the Wet Mountain valley. Very grateful to our hosts for having us!

Perfect mountain getaway

Blissfully quiet, tranquil, secluded, exceptionally clean, and just all-around beautiful! It was close enough to different activities such as rafting, hiking and the train ride out of Canon City. Breakfast out on the wrap-around deck and star gazing at night was delightful! We had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate coming out again!

The cabin and location were perfect. Amazing views and peaceful. Everything was super clean and it was fully stocked as far as kitchen utensils, towels and bedding. We could not have asked for a better place in the area and cannot wait to return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Property shows a lot of planning and care in how it all comes together. I help maintain a 300 acre conservation easement and this property has some of the best fire mitigation I've seen.

Star Gazing Weekend

This property was great. Very remote, very roomy and exceptional in regards to experience, cleanliness, functioning amenities and very well equipped with every you need. It is quite an up hill drive late at night but that allows for great star viewing and very quiet nights on the deck. Come with everything you want to eat and drink as the there are no services until you get to Westcliff. Overall this place was awesome!

As much art gallery as it is a home

This beautiful home is well-stocked with a great library, games (board and electronic), movies and more to entertain guests. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful art adorning every wall as well the gorgeous pottery dishes provided for our use. Besides abundant comfortable seating on the large covered porches, there are chairs and tables scattered throughout the yard.

Awesome cabin retreat in the woods!

I and three of my friends spent two days/nights at this cabin to celebrate my 40th birthday and had a terrific time. It’s spacious, plenty of sleeping options, has the essentials in the kitchen, with lots of extras in the closets, and the wrap around deck, amazing views and plenty of places to sling a hammock made this truly an amazing experience. Easy check-in/out process and David is a great communicator and goes the distance in providing and explaining anything you may have questions about in the listing and other details after booking. Can’t wait to come back - thank you!!

Absolutely amazing

The cabin was amazing! Very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch every morning drinking coffee and watching the wildlife. We saw chipmunks, humming birds and deer. Inside the cabin was very nice. Every amenity you could ever need in the kitchen! The king bed was amazing. We made the short drive to Westcliffe daily and we also drove to Salida and Buena Vista. We loved the cabin and definitely will go back!
