Old terraced house "Rua 5 de Outubro", renovated in 2005. In the centre of Lagos, 250 m from the sea. Public parking on the road. Grocery 150 m, restaurant 200 m, bus stop 900 m, railway station "Lagos" 2 km, sandy beach 250 m, indoor swimming pool 150 m. Golf course (18 hole) 4 km.
3-room house 100 m2 on 2 levels. Practical furnishings: living/dining room with 2 sleeping facilities (2 x 80 cm, length 190 cm), TV, CD-player, DVD and paraffin heater. Open kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, microwave, freezer) with dining table. Shower/WC. Upper floor: 2 rooms, each room with 1 french bed (140 cm), paraffin heater. Bath/bidet/WC. Terrace 15 m2. Lagos is lovely but accommodation was very disappointing

I had a really bad experience with interhome at this property. I messaged them on VRBO weeks before my stay asking them to confirm the WiFi as I was working there remotely. No response. I get there and there is no WiFi, despite this being advertised, and after three days of chasing it gets fixed. The place itself is fine, although quite mouldy in some places. Location is great though.

Hello Alistair, Thank you for leaving us a review. Regarding communication with the property responsible, it is best to contact the keyholder directly. This information is in your travel document and all guests are to contact directly at least a week before arrival to confirm everything before arrival. Nevertheless the reported issue was fixed the following Monday as the operator does not work on Sundays. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, and we have now compensated you. Very Disappointing

While the location was great and there was an adequate amount of space, this was one of the most negative rental experiences we’ve had, and we travel internationally quite a bit. First, we could not get in touch with the owner and had no idea how to check in. They would not reply to our VRBO messages after multiple weeks and we finally realized that it was a private rental company who used individual key holders who we needed to contact directly, but our key holder only spoke Portuguese (she was very nice, but we were extremely confused by the whole process). They had sent an external email with this information, but did not tell us that, and the email subject was easily confused with spam, so we never received it. This was very challenging with limited service and wifi access. When we arrived, we noticed odd smells of mildew and even toilet smells, and there were many areas that were not sanitary. For example, hairs and crumbs in the silverware tray, dirty dishes in the cabinets, etc. Then, at the end of the first day, the hot water went out. We could not get in touch with anyone to fix it. We messaged the company via VRBO multiple times expressing our frustration and need for a solution. Again, the individual key holder was kind, but was unable to fix the problem until our very last day. Finally, we we booked this rental, they advertised AC, and there was no AC. We would not recommend booking this property.

We are sorry for any confusion regarding our procedures. Regarding the strange smell, it occurs when there is a south-easterly wind blowing in the area. The cutlery drawers are routinely checked and cleaned; therefore, we are sorry if this was missed this time. The cleaning team will take extra care for the future. The keyholder is available for any assistance required during the stay, although she did not receive any call or email during this time and the door was not open when she came to check if all was alright. Das Haus war sehr Nett eingerichtet. Alles was man brauchte war vorhanden. Die Lage ist perfekt. 2 Min. bis in die Stadt. 5 Min. bis zum Strand. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Bien équipé avec beaucoup de place .Bien implanté au niveau du quartier centre . Un peu bruillant le soir mais raisonnable. Le couchage n'est pas très confortable lit trop dur . dans l'ensemble bon compromis malgré un prix élevé pour la periode.

Great old town location for couples.

A really neat and tidy, inexpensive two bedroom townhouse in downtown Lagos. Cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and the nearest beach all within walking distance. Parking can be a problem but the location makes up for it; i’d book again.

Very nice apartment in the centre of town

Very clean and well kept flat. We stayed here as a group of 5 for 5 nights and we were very comfortable. Great breezes to keep the place cool and hatch style windows in the bedrooms and upstairs bathroom.
