Tropical and very private 3 bedroom canal home with heated pool and spa on private drive. Two bedrooms have king sized beds. Lots of outdoor living spaces including a screened Lanai, covered porch next to the pool, and a side deck with shade control and fire pit. Terrific location on the canal North of Pine Avenue. Great for paddle boarding and kayaking. Close walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants, SandBar, Rod and Reel Pier, City Pier and much more. Heated pool and spa available at additional cost. Pool without heat is included in rental price. Heating pool or spa is extra.

Would stay again!

We had a great time, the house was wonderful. Short walk to the beach & a great spot to fish. The outdoor space was spacious, we spent a lot of time by the pool. Owner is quick to respond! Would definitely stay here again.

Property is beautiful with an amazing view of the bay! My children LOVED the pool and hot tub! So quiet and peaceful and very relaxing and just minutes from the best beaches! Will definitely be back!

Great property and host

Fantastic location and laid back island vibe. Canal was great for fishing and so close to shops and restaurants and the beach. Comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was great and always immediately available for any questions. thank you!

Great Family Friendly Place

This was a perfect getaway for our family. We rented kayaks and used the canal with easy access, the kids loved the pool every morning before a quick walk to the beach. We also had numerous walkable options for restaurants available. The place was spacious for a family of four. We loved how much outdoor space there was too!

Great Rental, great location

Roomy and everything you could want in a rental on Anna Maria., Including a pool and large outdoor living space. I hope to be able to come back and stay at this location in the future. We rented bikes for three 18 year-old teenagers and they loved being able to explore the island on their own.

We really enjoyed our stay. Robert was very easy to communicate with! Nice and clean house, spacious, great pool and we saw dolphins in the canal behind the house!! Location is great! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Amazing house!

We had a great stay here. The house is a no frills beach cottage but all you need on this beautiful island. The outdoor areas are awesome. We never even turned on the tv once. We hope to stay again, all the way from NC!

Hi Valerie. I am so happy that you enjoyed your stay. The location of my Anna Maris Island house directly on the water for paddle boarding and kayaking, with the private heated pool, heated spa, the multiple outdoor decks and screened Lanai are all there to make your island experience “no frills.” The house has two large flat screen TV’s and high speed internet. However, my design concept of the house is to escape the modern world and enjoy a laid back beach vacation. And Anna Maria Island the perfect place for that.

Fabulous location

We had a wonderful week at Robert’s place. We were comfortable and had everything we needed. This is our second time to visit the island and there is not a better location on Anna Maria than this rental. The pool was fabulous and we even had a dolphin come right up to our dock!! Would rent again.

Family First time to Anna Maria

We thoroughly enjoyed the island and all the peaceful location of the house. My family of four with two kids 9 and 5 stayed for week. Everything was very clean and exactly how the listing described. We rented a golf cart and kayaks both of which were perfect for this location. There were a few pool toys which my kids enjoyed and the pool was very nice. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely go back.

Amazing location

You can’t have a better location. Our family and kids played in the pool and watched manatees go by the channel, and fished. The house is comfortable with many places to sit and relax. The location is a quick walk to the pier, and all of the restaurants and coffee shops on Pine. I’ve stayed on Anna Maria a dozen+ times. This was the best location by far.

Family trip

The location was great, on the canal and an easy walk to pine street and all it has to offer, as well as the beach. The pool is nice to use on the hot days and the entire outside area has great views. Some of the outside furniture is worn, but still usable. The house itself could be slightly better equipped compared to previous rentals we have stayed at in Anna Maria. The house itself was nice to spend the week at, but could also use some updating in some rooms. We would certainly stay here again since the location is terrific.

Old Florida charm

Wonderful old Florida charm. This place is truly special and should be appreciated for what you gain in the experience of your stay. Sure the AC might not be the greatest but you will not get the same rare experience of an original old Florida house in any other new rental. Not to mention Robert is one of the most accommodating and quick to respond hosts you can ask for. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location, but needs serious updates

Awesome location. Pool and outdoor space is great. Indoor furniture is old and outdated. Bedding is TERRIBLE. Several had to sleep on couches or on the recliner. We left one day early because of the bad mattresses. We will not return to this property unless significant updates are completed.

Hi Emery. Sorry you didn’t like the mattresses. Most of my guests are quite happy with my furnishings. Nearly all of my reviews are 5 stars. You are the very first guests to mention the mattresses as an issue.

After Christmas Vacation

My husband, my 20 year old son and my 17 year old daughter visited the week after Christmas. The house is a little older, but it is in a perfect location and it was perfect for us. It is located a block or two from Pine Street which is full of shops and restaurants. The ocean and pier are a couple blocks away. The house has a lot of room and seating in the living room and there is a screened in porch, pool and decks. My son enjoyed fishing in the canal. Anyway, it was a wonderful vacation except the weather was cold for Florida. I would definitely recommend. Perfect location.

Terrible check-in and equipment didn’t work

We got to the house late at night as traffic was terrible. The code I was given by the owner of the house, Robert, was the wrong code!! It would not open the lock key box at 1145pm! I tried contacting him through the app but he didn’t answer! Thank goodness I thought to call AMI Rentals who called earlier in the day to inform me the cleaning crew wouldn’t be finished with the house in time. They had an after hours number I was able to call and get the correct code. The next day, I discovered the house did not have any internet at all. I had to wait around all day until spectrum came to run new cable for the internet. It was blamed on old equipment. The house was not in any way handicap accessible if you are needing that as the entrance to the master bathroom shower area wasn’t even 3 feet wide and there were no hand rails etc at all. I will say that communication with the property manager was quite good and she did the best she could in fixing the internet issues. I just figured for a stay which cost so much for 4 nights, those issues shouldn’t exist to begin with, spending given the wrong entry code for the house.

Hi James. You failed to include in your review that you snuck your dog into my house without approval. Then you let the dog poop all over my backyard. You still owe me $500 for pet fee and poop removal. The property managers responded almost immediately to your entry issue and the internet was solved the same day. My house always gets 5 star reviews. People love my house. Your review is not an honest reflection on my house and service.
