Going to Granny's - BUT UPDATED! Sit by the gas fireplace, with your feet up, and enjoy cooking in the well stocked kitchen with newer appliances, including a new electric range. Freshly painted kitchen, living room, and dining area. FAMILY-FRIENDLY! Full size crib as well as books and toys for all ages. Master bedroom has en-suite with newly refinished master shower and king size bed. Guest bedroom has a queen size bed and 3rd bedroom/office has single daybed with single trundle bed. Second bathroom has tub shower combo. New carpets in all bedrooms. 1000 square foot 2nd floor has full-size crib, full size bed, dresser, desk and sitting area with kid friendly table and chairs, books, and toys. A backyard play-set has been added for children 10 and under. The double decks overlook a large fenced backyard.

Perfect Vacation. The host was a pleasure and made sure to communicate all information well in advance of our stay. She was very responsive in returning my emails with questions that I had. The house has plenty of space, more than we even imagined, was very clean, and had a lot of supplies that you might need. We brought our furry child with us, and he loved the yard to chase his tennis balls. It is fenced all around the entire yard and has a nice play area for children. Our five-year-old granddaughter came over to visit us, and she did not want to leave. She loved the slide and swings, but the upstairs playroom inside the house was a dream for her. There were so many toys and things for her to play with, she did not want to go home with her mom. This is a must stay if you are going to this area. We will definitely be booking here again the next time we travel to North Carolina. Thank you for a stress free stay.

We love this house. It is very comfortable and feels like home. The house is well stocked and it is evident the owner takes care to ensure it is a home away from home. The fenced in backyard with bilevel deck, play area, grill, and fire pit was where we spent most of our time. Communication with the owner was friendly and easy. We visit family in Raleigh every year and will be return customers.

The place and host was perfect in every way! Our kids loved the playroom and it was so nice for our youngest to have an actual crib to sleep in instead of a pack and play. They had thought of everything from the toys to the kitchen supplies. Check in and out was easy and the host was very responsive. The location was amazing as well, 15 minutes from pretty much anything we wanted to get to in Raleigh. It had such a homey feeling that we felt comfortable immediately and the kids were sad to leave at the end of the week.

The house was exactly as pictured. It was clean and well maintained. We were there during an extremely hot July (106 degree peaks); the AC kept up well. The appliances worked well, plenty of hot water. The neighborhood is working class, with some well kept homes and some not so well kept, but it’s quiet and felt safe. Overall, it fit our need well for the month we were there. Sheryl was very communicative throughout.

Amazing stay perfect for children and pets

We loved it here and my family did not want to leave! Host was very accommodating. There were dog toys and even a brand new dog bed. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything you need plus more, such as seasonings, organic coffee, and extra toiletries. Bed was super comfy, backyard was great for my dog and the playground in the backyard was so much fun for my little one. Then there was the thousand square foot playroom upstairs. It has a full crib, a baby monitor, and more toys than you could possibly need (really no need to even bring your own!). Needless to say that when we come back to Raleigh, we will be staying here. I would rate it a bonus 6 out of five stars if I could. If you have a family, then this is the place for you!

Great Family Friendly Property

Stayed here while visiting family in town. It was a fantastic place to stay with two young kids. We had trouble getting my 4 year old out of the house because he loved playing in the toy room so much. Sheryl was very responsive when we had an issue with the front door lock. Would definitely stay here again in the future and recommend to others.

Perfect pet friendly spot in Raleigh!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is a quick drive to all the activities downtown, but on a quiet street that is quiet and peaceful to come back to. The house is well maintained, super clean and has all the basic amenities you need. Our dog loved lounging on the deck and we loved sitting listening to the birds in the quiet and peaceful backyard. Sheryl was a super responsive and great host. Definitely recommend!

Great house in a great location!

This house is great for couples, families and/or people with dogs! It has a fenced yard and children's playscape for the backyard. We loved that the master bedroom was on the main floor too. The pictures of this house posted on VRBO are accurate. This home is also in a great neighborhood in Raleigh. It is so close to stores and restaurants (5-10 minute drive). We loved that the homes in this neighborhood had some 'space' between them too. Just a perfect setup! The host for this home (Sheryl) is a great communicator and was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Raleigh!

Property ok, unwelcoming owner

The property was fine. It was a good home base for us while we were checking out the area. Lots of “don’t do this or there will be a charge.” Was also told we needed to check out by 8 am on our last day which was stupid.

This was one of the better rentals we stayed at. The house was clean and had everything you needed. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard! The host was very obliging and easy to work with. We definitely would stay here again.

A lovely oasis

We really felt comfortable, safe and relaxed in this well-maintained and equipped house in a quiet neighborhood. On nice days, we enjoyed the deck looking out at the beautiful trees and listening to the birds. The host was very helpful when we needed it.

Perfect Stay with Kids

Amazing and immaculate house for a stay with 2 young children. We absolutely loved having access to the thoughtfullu curated toys and outdoor play area. House was very comfortable, cozy and a wonderful stay away from home.

Fall into your quiet place

This house is exactly as pictured! The host Sheryl is so kind and responsive almost immediately! We were able to do some driving to the mountains to see the Biltmore Estate about 4 hours one way! It was a very long day but we’ll worth it! We drove to Oak Island Lighthouse and saw the beach which was deserted this time of year! About 2 1/2 hours away one way! If you want to got to the top you have to schedule it on line which we didn’t but it was still neat. We went over to Southport and ate at Fishy Fishy and then walked about a block to see the house in the movie “Safe Haven” written by Nicholas Sparks! We grilled burgers out back and just enjoyed the scenery and laid back peaceful neighborhood.

Great stay in a lovely neighborhood

We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a month while waiting to move into our new house. The beds are really comfortable, plenty of blankets and towels, and we loved the comfortable reclining chairs. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to use. Big fenced-in backyard was perfect for our dogs. Both the yard and upper level are great for people with younger kids. There is so much to do here, the kids might forget about their screens for a bit. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee while watching a hummingbird outside our living room window. We were happy to realize there were so many great food options very close by. Highly recommend. Laurie and Chuck R.

Cute home with a large yard and upstairs

My wife and I stayed for a month in this house while we were house hunting, and all we really enjoyed it. Our dog loved chasing squirrels in the large fenced backyard, and we loved the comfortable living room and bedroom (and watching her run around from the upper deck in the back while drinking tea in the morning). The shower was excellent, and the kitchen was just right for our daily cooking. The beds and the recliners were comfortable, and the neighborhood was pretty quiet and conveniently located. Sheryl, the owner/host, was very accommodating and communicative by e-mail/text, and she was very clear with her instructions about various details of the house. If you're moving to the area and need some time to find a long-term housing situation, I recommend staying in this house. We were there only a month, but it started to feel like home. :-)

Great location! Very clean!

This house was clean and had everything we needed. It is in a great location and gave us the ability to go all around Raleigh and surrounding towns to explore. There is even a swing set in the back yard that was popular with our kids along with all the toys in the bonus room upstairs. I highly recommend this property and would stay again if available the next time we visit Raleigh.

My first Vrbo Experience

This property is BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, and will not disappoint you. The owner was kind, helpful, and her prompt communication made this new experience easy. This is a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown, shopping, gas. The information available at the home itself was invaluable. Such a lovely place to stay and enjoy my weekend in Raleigh. Charming Home in a Nice Neighborhood

This home has everything you could ever need. The home is comfortable and well kept. The neighborhood was close to many things, including downtown Wake Forest. The owner was so kind, a pleasure to chat with! I will definitely book the home again when I return to NC.

Long Weekend in Raleigh
