Rivers Bend offers beautiful views of the Ouachita Mountains and the Caddo River

River's Bend Cabin sits on a bluff overlooking the Caddo River and the Ouachita Mountains. The views are amazing and the water is so close that you can hear the ripples as it makes its way down the river. The cabin has a dipping pool with a waterfall feature that is open from May through September. There are steps down to the river where there is good swimming or fishing. This amazing property is so worth it! The view was stellar. The cabin was cozy and well-appointed with all the modern amenities. The plunge pool alone was worth the price! Quiet, secluded, perfect get-away spot to relax and get away from the grind. Owners were very communicative. We will definitely be back!

Calm

We loved the cabin. It was secluded and peaceful. After driving through all the hills and taking hikes it was a great welcome to pull up to the cabin and see the great open sky for 50 miles. We spent every day leisurely driving to a different spot to look for quartz crystals or fishing and found a lot! The kids loved the video game machine and we even got into playing with them.

Much needed vacation!

The property was absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. It had everything we needed to feel at home and my 20 yr old son and 14 yr old daughter absolutely loved it. We are already talking about wanting to go back.

Great river cabin

Fantastic view, extremely clean and well taken care of. The trek down to the river is steep but the stairs make it much easier than some of the other places we’ve stayed. We will definitely stay here again when we have the chance.

Perfect place for a serene getaway. Cabin is nice, clean and comfortable. Wonderful views from deck and your own private pool. Have stayed here every year for over a decade. Never fails to impress!

Amazing sunsets - wonderful secluded location - great Deck for BBQs! River is soothing and close by - wifey got to see an Eagle flying close by from the deck! Tom was very friendly and informative - highly recommended!

Stunning View!!

Absolutely beautiful place. The splash pool was amazing as well as the spiral steps down to the river. We so enjoyed walking in the streams and looking for colorful rocks. Fixing to book again except for more than 4 days. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us.

ultimate view

this place was amazing. i can even begin to describe the view. it looked like we were in another country in a tropical paradise. i was in awe every time i looked outside. the pac man machine was so fun. house had everything we needed. there’s also a queen size bed in the loft. the pool and waterfall feature so fun!

What a view!!! The cabin was amazing, we could not have asked for a better place to stay on a last minutes notice as well. Very clean and comfortable, the pool was just big enough to cool off in and the walk to the river was well worth it! Thank you for sharing with me and my family. We will definitely be back.

What an amazing place!

The property could not be more beautiful and the owners have made sure that the cabin is perfect! Pictures do not do it justice, and I should know, I took so many pictures just looking off the back deck. The pool was so relaxing after a good days paddle on the Caddo. There is an outfitter just 9mins away! All in All this cabin is one my husband and I will look forward to returning to as much as we can! Thank you for such an amazing stay!

Lovely Riverside Bend

So glad we found this hidden gem. The views are amazing. I’m confident that the cabin is thoroughly cleaned after each stay. It was very clean inside and out. Sitting in the pool overlooking the mountains with the river below was my favorite part. There are just a few things that are worth mentioning. To access the river below is a trek of cement steps which definitely made getting down and up again easier, but be prepared for the steep incline. The river has currents which make it difficult to get across to the cleared side. We bought rope for our tubes and tied together and once we got across we used rocks to stay put so we could float. It was very nice once you made it. Then have to make it back across and up again. The bedroom doesn’t have AC or a ceiling fan. We made do with using the box fan provided by placing it in the doorway to move some of the cool air from the living area. The kitchen and bathroom had plenty of stock items to get us through our 4 nights. There is a grocery store less than 15 minutes away with a few other stores and couple of restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and I’ve recommended this cabin to several family and friends already. Thank you!!

A cute and very clean cabin with a fantastic view. Quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed fishing (small mouth bass & sun fish), swimming and exploring the river. Taking a dip in the pool with the waterfall feature and star gazing. The steps to and from the river were a little steep but good exercise. . A great place to stay for a getaway.

Just a wonderful stay!Really enjoyed relaxing on the patio - watching the clouds and river below. When we got warm, a quick dip in the pool and all was good.The cabin was spotless with everything we needed.Met the owner as we were leaving - really nice. Rivers Bend is a short drive from Glenwood on a quite part of the river. It's on a bluff overlooking the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains and the river is directly below, the sounds of the water rippling is very peacful. Rivers Bend has one of the most beautiful views on the river and is the only lodging on the river that has its own heated dipping pool with a waterfall. ( Open from May through September ).
