CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: AMENITIES NOW OPEN!



SunDestin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior construction around the property. Amenities remain open and fully available for guest use.



Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. We want to ensure you're informed in advance so you can plan your stay accordingly.



We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the resort works to improve and enhance the overall guest experience.



Parking in the main lot may be limited, especially after hours. Each one- and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street.



Get ready for some fun in the sun at SunDestin Beach Resort, located directly on the Gulf of Mexico in beautiful Destin, FL. Catch some rays in the newly-renovated outdoor pool or switch it up with a dip in the indoor pool (heated seasonally). An outdoor hot tub is also available, as are a steam room and sauna. Utilize the fitness facility, enjoy complimentary DVD rentals, and browse the gift shop conveniently located in the lobby. SunDestin has something for everyone in your group, including an outdoor tiki bar. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also available for an additional fee. With over 3,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, be sure to keep SunDestin in mind for weddings, family reunions, and business meetings as well. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk.



SunDestin Unit 0308 is a one-bedroom condo with gorgeous views, accommodating up to six people. A stackable washer-dryer is conveniently located in the fully-appointed kitchen, an added bonus! Chill after a day at the beach in the comfy living room with a flat-screen television and enjoy some snacks in the dining area with seating for four. When it’s time to settle in for the night, this unit has space for all with a large king bed in a private bedroom (complete with another flat screen television), twin bunks in the hallway, a queen size sofa bed in the living room, one full bath and one-half bath for added convenience. Enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail after dinner on the balcony, with seating for two.



SunDestin Beach Resort is minutes away from local attractions, dining establishments, and plenty of shopping. Be sure to check out Destin Commons with stores for men, women and children and a movie theater showing the latest releases!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Great stay. Unit is cozy. Can use some updates (paint, new couch (feathers coming out of couch and pillows), and plumbing (kitchen sink leaked and toilets slow to flush). LOVE how close it is to the beach. Awesome staff at the resort. Overall an awesome experience 😊

Clean unit with good location

We really enjoyed our stay! The unit was very clean. Staff was very friendly!! They really work hard to keep everything spotless. The building needs some renovation due to age-halls and elevators. Our unit was showing its age too. Great value!!!!!

Nice condo

The condo was clean and updated. Great view of the beach and ocean. Beach was pretty crowded though as this is a very large building of condos. Didn’t like that you couldn’t take your beach chairs to sit at the edge of the water unless you paid for front row chairs and umbrellas. But the condo unit we stayed in was very nice and the building itself nice with helpful staff.

Awesome view and right on the beach

The location was good the room size was good but the only complaints that need to be fixed are the toilet in the half bathroom needs to be fixed. Each time it was flushed it would constantly make this loud non stop noise until you messed with the handle to make it stop it was very annoying. The faucet to the bathtub leaked on the bottom when you changed it to shower. One of the drawers in the restroom the paint was peeling off. And the dryer took forever to dry and the stripping on it needs to be repaired. Other than that the stay was good and the view was beautiful.

Nice place!

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort. Only problem was the bed. The bed is absolutely terrible. My wife and I both woke up in the wee hours of the morning with back pain. The bed was so bad, we cut our stay a day short because we couldn't stand another night on the bed. It was that bad. Otherwise, everything else was great!

Loved the location of this unit. We had a great view of the beach from the balcony and the condo is right on the beach. The space was nice, we had 5 in our party and it was very accommodating for all. The only negative thing I could say about our stay was the internet service was horrible. So if you are planning to work from this location, I wouldn't recommend it. The condo was equipped with pots, dishes, etc. that you would need but nothing else. There was limited trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc. So you will need to bring extra if you are staying a long period of time.

Location is great, employees were very helpful and polite. The condo was overall very nice but did have a few issues - one of the sliding bathroom doors kept sticking and could not be opened after closing. The sliding glass door to the balcony was very difficult to lock, I am not even sure it actually locked. The dryer probably needs to be vented as it took a long time to dry towels and you can see a lot of lint buildup. The toilet in the smaller bathroom was very hard to flush. Cleanliness overall was very good except the bathtub, there were several hairs in the tub from a previous guest. The bathroom and kitchen kits were great and there were plenty of bath towels which we really appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfy and so was the furniture. It would be nice if there were smart TVs so you could watch netflix etc. It was hard to cast from your device onto the TV b/c the wifi was problematic. The room was quiet and the AC was very good. Overall it was a very good experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Will not stay here again

We will say, the building was clean, the pools were clean, check-in was simple, and the walk to the beach was short. That’s about where the good of this trip ends. One of the first things we noticed was the large AC unit on the balcony, which was not shown in the photos. It definitely took away from the peaceful atmosphere on the balcony. Second, we specifically chose this property because it had a washer/dryer in the unit. What they don’t tell you is that the washer doesn’t really work - it holds about a gallon of water in the bottom of the drum and the clothes never get spun enough to get the water out. This leads to them smelling, and taking AGES to dry (which is also due to the dryer being small and simply taking forever). The furniture in the unit it very outdated and scratchy, and we honestly didn’t feel like they were clean enough to let our kids be on them without a towel or something underneath. The bunk beds were rock hard, so the kids ended up in the bedroom with us. The sliding doors between all the bathrooms would get stuck and jammed, and never would lock. The bedroom is right next to the outdoor hallway, so if you are a light sleeper or need dark to sleep, good luck. The wifi was terrible (kept dropping A LOT) and for whatever reason the spot the unit is in doesn’t get good cell service either. The check-out process, when everyone is trying to check out at the same time, took us over an hour just to get our stuff down to the lobby. For a condo that has 17 floors of people, having 4 elevators and only 3 that work to service the highest floors first is just not the best model of efficiency. It should also be noted somewhere that if you want to bring your own umbrella to the resort, you can’t. There is a rule that no personal umbrellas can be used. You can have tents, but if you want an umbrella you have to use the rental company. They will put up about 4 rows of chairs and umbrellas on the weekends, and your tents have to be behind those lines, so theres really only space for one row of tents past the chairs. The location of the condo is great, which is so unfortunate because we will likely never consider staying here again.
