Our first visit here was so great that this is the first property we’ve ever rented a second time. The location is amazing and the hosts make sure that everything is perfect before arrival. 10/10

Convenient and fun spot to stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. The house is very convenient to everything downtown Ouray. The sleeping accommodations were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet of the backyard fire pit. The parking area behind the house was so convenient for unloading as well as an area off the Main Street so you always had a parking spot. I definitely would rent again if we return to the picturesque area of Ouray!

We had a fabulouse stay at 414 Main St. This is a very cool house with a ton of interesting history. This is the first time we have stayed in Ouray and it was fantastic. Love the town and there is an amazing amount things to do in and around town. Hiking is fantastic. Had a great jeep ride up Yankee Boy Basin and hiked to Wright Lake. Lots of good restaurants and shops on Main St.The house was perfect. Great kitchen area and living room. The outdoor space with the firepit was our gathering place every afternoon before dinner. Check in/out were simple and easy. Host was excellent.

Great location, and quaint; the tilted staircases are part of the charm. We loved the fenced yard for dogs. The large kitchen is great, and easily accommodates more than one cook. We’d definitely stay again.

Ouray Property

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the back yard area where we sat and had wine and cheese. The kitchen was also wonderful. There were several downsides, however. There is no door on the master bedroom bathroom! Another issue was the slanting ceilings in the bedrooms were low enough we spent some time nursing banged heads.

This is the second time we have stayed at this house and it’s perfect for our crew! The basement room provides great space for family gear while the upstairs rooms are the perfect sizes. The property management is great at communication and was available to make last minute updates to our reservation. We will definitely come back!

Great spot, convenient location

The house had everything we needed for the week we were in town. Plenty of space and the house was well stocked.

Great Escape

Place was amazingly comfortable for our entire family. Everyone was able to spread out and enjoy. House is very unique in its own right and an amazing place to stay in Ouray!

Family Trip

Perfect place to stay with a house packed full of everything you would need. Clean, plenty of room for a family and a great location. We had an issue with the washing machine and the host was quick to fix the issue. 5 stars in our book!

Wonderful rental home in beautiful downtown Ouray!

We love this rental home! This was our third stay at this beautiful historic home. Our family had everything that we needed and more! This home was clean and comfortable and located directly on Main Street. We will be back, hopefully soon. Wish we could have stayed longer! Most enjoyable vacation ever in this awesome home away from home!

Fantastic Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location, but the slant of the house and the odd layouts of bathrooms was definitely different. Closed in backyard was wonderful for storing our dirt bikes and letting the dogs run. All in all the location wins, but the house is a bit odd. We never really got comfortable.

Good location.

Overall it was okay. Some of the rooms were hot due to windows wouldn’t open. Nice big kitchen. The beds could use new mattresses.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just concluded our 3rd week-long stay at the Cottage House. A nice big home, wellvattended and loaded with all you will need.We spent the 4th of July week there and it was big fun. The town goes all out to entertain everyone and the fireworks were fantastic. If you watch paradrs you'll get very wet on the west side of the street where the Cottage House is. We loved it though!We highly recommend the home to anyone who wants a great place to stay.
