Full luxury in breathtaking natural beauty. Remote and private. So quiet you can hear your heart beat. At night, no city lights disturb your view of the star-studded sky.

From this 1,475 square foot Casita, you'll enjoy panoramic 360-degree views: Abiquiu Lake, miles of mesas, rolling hills, and the magnificent red cliffs surrounding the famous Ghost Ranch. To the south you'll see the 10,000-foot mountain known as El Pedernal, which Georgia O'Keefe made famous in her paintings, along with much of the near landscape.

Our Casita was built in 2008, and designed by a local architect in a southwestern yet modern style. It's fully furnished for comfort. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including a Bosch gas stove with heavy gauge grills for those who really love to cook.

Check out the Master bathroom: you can choose between a slate shower or a deep soaking tub to soothe your body after an invigorating hike in the nearby Jemez Mountains. Besides the 2 bedrooms, each with Queen beds, there is a Full Size Air Mattress RAISED Inflatable Bed with Built-in High Capacity Airbed Pump and Fitted Sheets with Bed Skirt for use in the Great Room overlooking the lake.

You couldn't ask for a better view. It was amazing. The host was very easy to work with and very kind. We loved everything other than we would highly recommend adding a king size bed. Other than that, not sure you could ask for too much more.

Beautiful house with a view

We had a great extended weekend stay and were very impressed by the house and the architecture that takes great advantage of the view of Lake Abiquiu. The fire pit area is a fantastic place to take in the scenery and the night sky. Very comfortable and lovely place to spend a vacation!

It's hard to find words to describe Vista de Lago. The most obvious are the amazing views from the casita. Stunning panoramic scenes that change with the light through out the day. The stars at night are glorious! The quietness will latke you breath away. The casita itself is so well furnished and appointed like no other holiday rental we've stayed. You can tell this home is lived in and loved. You feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. We wanted for nothing and everything was clean and in very good condition, perfect. We have some serious cooks and we had a blast in that kitchen. Can't say enough about this property. Larry was the perfect host. Communication was seamless and instructions were spot on. We will definitely be back!!

Our stay was amazing! Communication with Larry was timely and his directions to the house were so detailed which we appreciated. We couldn't get enough of the amazing views. We highly recommend this place!

Christmas Trip

My wife and I plan a trip every other Christmas somewhere new for our family. We have three kids under 12. We like to stay out of town and in unique places. This is one of our favorite places we have stayed! You really cannot put into words or even fully appreciate the beauty until you stay!

Incredible, it surpassed high expectations

What an amazing "get away from it all" experience that unfurls before you in many forms of beauty and discovery. Warm and cozy nights and incredible days. Just what city folks need now and again :) highly recommend and Larry was great

Gorgeous get-away

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The views are amazing! We had a great get away from the rest of the world. The lake is just down the hill and views are beautiful! There are many great places to visit within 60-90 minutes from the home. We really treasured our time here together! The hosts were great about communicating with us and the house was very clean and absolutely beautiful! You are remote which we knew after reading about the property which was amazing! The home is well stocked and had all that we needed. We look forward to coming back someday!

Perfect house

Perfect relaxation

We enjoyed this home, gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding cliffs, comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, we walked down to the lake for a swim too! Great to relax and get away in nature with all the comforts of home!
