Rivertime
My granddaughters family and I enjoyed our "rivertime" at Nomad Ranch. The location is great with huge trees, views, and cool, clear water. The house had all we needed but might seem small for some guests. Since I am retired and have downsized, I know how to manage and deal with space.Would return anytime.

Rural Respite
We loved our stay at Rio Escondido, especially the access to the lovely Nueces River, in which we spent a great deal of time. Just about everything about our stay there was perfect. We appreciated the ability to use the smoker/grill for cooking and the nearby fire ring for evening fires near the gorgeous live oak tree. Marci was an excellent and helpful communicator, helping us to ensure a pleasant stay with advice and answers to all my questions. The house was clean and comfortable and the environment was quiet (except for the singing of birds) and peaceful. Eating meals and drinking morning coffee on the porch was another delight. I highly recommend this property to anyone who appreciates a tranquil and beautiful natural setting.
