The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Quick weekend getaway

Loved the view. Room was clean. In true Myrtle beach fashion it is a bit run down and could use some preventative maintenance but overall great stay!

Aged Hotel But Good

It's not the high dollar Resort that rich people can afford but its a good facility that gets the job done without all the bells and whistles of North Ocean Ave Hotels. Extremely close beach access, a functional kitchen area and comfortable beds. Too bad there are zero handicapped accessible (walk-in showers and toilets (low toilets -knees up under your chin low) but we were happy. They Are Pet Friendly and extremely courteous.

Overall good value

Place was nice and allow pets. Beds are very firm… too firm for comfort to really be an option… but if you’re not worried too much about that part, the rest of it was great. Two pools two spas. One set in door and one outdoor. Large outdoor spa. Staff overall nice. Could be a tad more friendly but overall was not unpleasant.

Great but cleaning staff needs to do better

The room was very comfortable other than the hvac unit that didn't seem to work properly. My biggest complaint was the floors were very dirty. The first thing I saw when I walked into the unit was a smashed French fry on the floor. There was also an issue with the key cards always needing to be reprogrammed. 3 out of 5 evenings I had to go back to the front desk to get my card reprogrammed.

Was our annual spot until…

The manager (I’m assuming) was super rude when we were late checking out. We come here annually but he really ruined that for me in being extremely rude about it :/ I get we have to check out at a certain time but we were late in getting up, simple mistake from us and we were doing our hardest to get out. Staff kept pressuring us to get out AS we were struggling to get all of our stuff out and downstairs in the timely manner they desired from us. Soo it’s a no for me next year, we spent way too much on this room for that type of treatment.

Great Room with a Beautiful View

Room is exactly as pictured other than a new lamp and different wall art. We loved sitting out on the balcony and listening to the ocean! Probably our favorite part was the swimming pools/hot tubs! They were lots of fun and added a lot to our trip! Love the pet friendly atmosphere. We brought our dog with us and she enjoyed the place too… she even got a goodie bag at check-in! Overall, I was very impressed with this establishment. Kind employees and fun activities make for a great stay. Looking forward to our next stay with Vacasa next month in a different location!

Everywhere it was very clean, the stuff was really friendly

Close to the beach, size of the room is very big. We had some minor issues, but it was done in minutes. Very professional . Will visit again

Short Getaway

The hotel was nice overall. No restaurants on sight, only vending machines. Buying groceries is a good start to make sure you have something there. I had a full kitchen so it was very easy to cook and store food. It is within walking distance to a restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. The view from the room was amazing. I was on the fifth floor. Perfect room height for me. The Lobby starts on 2nd floor. The first floor is the doggie area and indoor pool and hot tubs. Then the outdoor pool is right outside. The beach access is very easy. Not a lot of walking to get there. The elevators are a bit of a drag. There are only two and one of them was broken down for some of the time we were there. They acted quickly to resolve. I think an elevator upgrade is in need. The pools are awesome and big. There is also a sunning deck with tables with umbrella, you can eat outside if you wish. Everyone there was very friendly both guests and staff. The staff always seem to be cleaning the common areas, which was nice to see. No issues with bugs or things breaking down while I was there, other than the elevator occasionally. We had a great time and if you need to bring a pet with you, would highly recommend this hotel. They have restricted hours for the pool so you don’t have to worry about late night noise there. The pool closes at 11pm. Which is perfect. Great place will go back in the future!

Love this place!

If you love your dogs and want to include them on your trip, you need to stay here! Its clean (especially to be so dog friendly) and the staff are really nice and helpful. Not our first time staying here and we will be back next year good Lord willing.

Worst beds in Myrtle Beach

If you plan on staying at this property, be sure to pack your Bengay, bug spray and ear plugs. The beds, if you could even call them that, wouldn’t even be fit to be at a campground. If you even think about rolling over, the bed will make noises loud enough to wake the dead 3 floors below. The room was crawling with bugs. I expect a bug or two at Myrtle Beach, but perhaps this place should be renamed the Roach Motel. People were stomping, yelling and slamming doors till 2 in the morning. The washer and dryers were broken which meant I had to hand wash uniforms in the sink and try to dry them on the balcony. The outdoor areas were nice and clean, the staff was friendly but that doesn’t make up for everything else.

Great ocean front room. Staff was always friendly. Had a problem with the lockbox in closet. Called and maintenance was to our room in less than 5 minutes. Even though it says non smoking resort, there were people smoking around the pool and hot tub area. All the areas were clean. Washer didn’t work but was able to get reimbursed from the front desk. Elevators slow at times. Would had been nice to have more than 2 elevators on the property. Would stay again.

Hidden Gem

This is a very good property. We stayed there for a week for the Youth Baseball Nationals tournament with our entire team. The staff was amazing. The pools were cleaned everyday, as were the common areas. The kitchenette was a great way to save some money and eat a little healthier. The lights out front on the beach provided security at night which allowed for our kids to play on the beach and fish into the late hours of the night. Honestly, the rooms were fine, not great. It worked for our family of 4 and a family of 5 even made it work. But we weren’t there to hangout in the rooms anyway! The beds and pillows were just fine! Overall, I was impressed and happy with our stay.

Very friendly pet hotel

The hotel is hotel friendly. My boston terrier loved his spa day at the on-site grooming furology. The room was simple and clean. They did not provide enough washcloths. They only gave 1 wash towel but overall it was an affordable clean room

It was okay

They have a small dog area but it’s fake grass. The room is very small and the balcony is very sandy! The beds are not comfortable at all. The location is great and staff was very friendly! If you have pets it’s a good place to stay.
