With it’s amazing deck and direct access to the lake - there will be so much to do as a family or with friends. It’s a perfect get-a-way to recharge and rejuvenate. The convenience of shopping, eating out, or just walking around town is only 12 min away. The house will be fully equipped along with Kayaks, to enjoy your stay on this beautiful lake!

We were in CT this trip because we lost our dad. Vico was so accommodating and kind. He was quick to respond to ?'s. The home was clean, the master bed was comfortable (amen!). We were happy to be able to use the grill. One eve the temperature dropped and the patio fire pit was a very pleasant bonus. The view is excellent. I would stay again if I'm in the area.

We spent 14 sunny days at the lake house in August. This was the perfect place to enjoy swimming, boating, fishing and relaxing with the family. The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The view from the deck is incredible and great place to start your day with a cup of coffee. The hill to the boat dock is a bit steep so we did plan for what we needed to bring before we went down to spend the afternoon. Many happy memories were made for our family!

Great Lake house for a summer week

We brought our boat to the lake for the week. Vico confirmed before hand that the dock would safely hold our boat. The master bedroom and bath are large, and the second bedroom has an on suite bathroom which was nice, and the kids room has lots of room. We were there for a week of 90 degrees and the newly installed central air worked great.

Great place for a family getaway

We live in the area, but rented here to enjoy the lake with extended family. We had a wonderful stay and especially appreciated the many outdoor amenities of this property. The lake view from the house amazing.

Exquisite and peaceful stay!

Staying at this property was a dream. Easy check in and out. Incredibly quiet but easily accessible location directly on the water. The house is mostly updated (host was very communicative about the parts in process) and has the perfect layout. We had the best time!

Nice place to stay

It was a very nice trip we all enjoyed it. The host was nice an helpful. The pictures of the house did not do it justice when we got there we were surprised at the size of rooms they were larger than they looked in the ads. The area was quiet and the lake was great.

Exactly What We Needed

We had such a relaxing week at the this beautiful and comfortable house. It was very private and quiet. Vico was a responsive and helpful host. Any questions or concerns we had he was there for us. We’d recommend this place to anyone and we’ll absolutely be considering it for future vacations.

Great stay at the river house

This was a dream vacation that concluded our summer season 2023. Unforgettable lake views, cozy house that was recenly upgraded, nice river for swimming and kayaking. Kudos to the owner,Vico, who has been very accommodating. Hope we will be lucky enough to book his house again next summer.

Awesome lakefront getaway

Beautiful serene and private access to a gorgeous lake that’s great for fishing (even for our young fishermen). House is very nice and location is ideal. Very convenient travel from Long Island or NYC. Access to kayak and paddle board and floatation devices were great. Somewhat steep hill for access to the lake got a bit tiring chasing kids up and down but that’s how we got in some vacation exercise! Great communication and accommodating host.

Beautiful setting, very nice home

We had a family group in town for a memorial service. This home worked great for us. Very nice kitchen, good zonal hvac with separate thermostats and the lake is absolutely beautiful. The house was well cared for, clean and had plenty of linens, as well as little things like coffee and creamer, etc. Good communication from the owner as well. This was a gem!

Vico’s place was just perfect for a weekend getaway - unfortunately weather wasn’t conducive to water enjoyment but I’m sure it’s great during all the other seasons - definitely recommend

Lake Front Home

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The property was as described no issues. It was clean and very comfortable. Having the floating pier was a plus, public boat ramp was very close by and convenient. Parking in front of the property 3 cars max. A neighbor was very kind to allow me the use of his property for my boat trailer parking. Over all I would recommend this property for a quiet family vacation.

Great week at the lake!

This property is so pretty and the lake was wonderful! We were able to use our boat for fishing and water sports. Traffic on the lake was never overwhelming even for 4th of July! The house was full of amenities and Vico was a pleasure to deal with and quick to respond to any questions. We made wonderful memories. The house sits on a fairly large hill and we got some exercise going up and down!

Wonderful house and owner

The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The deck is full of tables and chairs for lounging outside, and if it were warmer we’d have stayed there the whole time. Vico is a kind and communicative host, and stayed in touch with a member of my family when they had forgotten an item at the property. He even sent a friend over to look for the item. Above and beyond. Book this house, you won’t regret it.

Wish I had known it was on a steep hill

I feel the listing should have disclosed that the property is on a steep hill. Not the right place for someone with knee/hip issues. We would not have stayed here if we knew. The kitchen floor was sticky, there was food left in the refrigerator and freezer and the oven was dirty. The cookware was in such poor condition I went out and bought a set of pots and pans. Bed linens were shabby and stained. Towels were shabby, stained, some had holes and were fraying. There was only 1 beach towel. Upon stripping the beds I discovered one of them had neither a mattress pad nor mattress protector and the mattress was stained. Towel hooks were falling out of the walls and not useable. The sofa is stained. There are holes in the walls under the kitchen cabinets. The gas grill igniter did not work. The large shade umbrella on the deck was broken - the host knew about these two issues and did not have them fixed prior to our stay. He did have a new umbrella sent from Amazon but we had to put it together. The rocker on the deck was broken. There were definitely enough issues to make our stay not relaxing. If you can overlook those issues I can tell you that the central AC worked well, the view was beautiful and once we made it down to the lake it was nice. There are 2 paddle boards and 3 kayaks. One of the kayaks is child size and missing the back. The paddle boards and 2-person kayak were very nice to have but I feel they should have been inflated and ready for use.

Short Family Get Away- BEST EVER

I’m going to be honest! I was initially worried about going due to an update receive by the owner the day of check in. We showed up and what seemed like a mountain, became a molehill. He mentioned a few things needed repair, on check in day which I was not happy about, but they were so insignificant due to all the other amenities, and the location, the views, the beautiful kitchen, the comfortable bed, the privacy, the water actives, and getting to fish off the dock ect, ect, ect! Those are the things that made are stay one of the absolute BEST mini vacations ever! I will say the outdoor grill was either clogged or not working properly and needs repairing or to be replaced. That’s pretty common with grills, not surprising though. We were able to use the gas stove/oven which cooked quickly, and efficiently, and sufficed our personal needs. Overall our stay was a 5. Too many good things to worry about the small. Thank you Vico ! We enjoyed the vacation thoroughly and would recommend this property to anyone looking to have a peaceful stay, connect with nature and a comfortable and large enough space to enjoy your family and friends.
