Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Enjoyed our stay

The condo was great. It had everything it advertised. It was clean. The ocean view was beautiful and listening to the waves at night was nice. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Convenient location

Property was exactly as pictured. Has some older amenities but was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for a week stay when Baseball is the main reason for a visit. Beach view is perfect.

Great location, great fun!

Had so much fun. Can't beat the location. Two pools, two hot tubs, lazy River and a kiddie pool. Something for everyone. Not to mention surround by restaurants and mini marts! Would definitely return. Have a great time. Thank you to the staff!

Fun, great view

The rooms were very clean. They have a great view of the ocean. There's plenty of pools for everyone to enjoy without being overwhelmed. The only complaint we had were the elevators. They take FOREVER and 1 side kept breaking.

Myrtle Beach Trip OCT 2023

We had a wonderful stay at Camelot by the Sea. The condo was very clean and the staff was amazing in that they were quick to respond if we had any issues with the condo. They were professional and friendly. The amenities were awesome! The hot tub was always hot, the lazy river was relaxing, and the secluded bench swing that had a view of the ocean between two palm trees made me feel as though I was on a private island. We look forward to staying at Camelot by the Sea again in the future. I would highly recommend staying at Camelot by the Sea in Myrtle Beach.

Miserable Myrtle Beach Vacation

Miserable to say the least, the king size bed was like sleeping on a box spring,with springs poking through and I just having a recent lumbar surgery ,didn't turn out too well. We arrived to the VRBO not being clean after a 12 hr drive, had to wait an hour for the girl to get done, which did not get clean to our standards. But as we are getting ready to leave, the cleaning crew was at our door at 950am asking us to go. Very disheartening , uncomfortable vacation to say the least.

Great view, great location, but not clean.

It was exactly what we were looking for, but it just wasn't clean... dirty sheets, stained towels, stained pillow cases, dirty walls, hair in the shower... just unclean. The building was clean, but our room wasn't.

Think twice before renting this one!

I hate to leave this review but I feel it’s necessary for other travelers. All the appliances worked but had problems. Washing machine sounded like a helicopter landing, dishwasher was missing wheels, microwave was hit or miss and the fan and light under it above the stove didn’t work, fridge handle was dirty and all dented up, missing hairdryer in second bathroom and in primary bathroom hair dryer was rusted and would not stay in holder on the wall, both bathroom doors dragged on the floor with opening and closing, primary toilet would flush 3 times with each flush, there was no trash can in primary bathroom, broom but no dust pan, burn hole to the right of the stove in the counter top, bare minimum of pans and cooking utensils but was able to make it work, rips in mattress covers when we removed sheets at end of stay upon request, beds and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable to the point of us waking stuff and sore every morning. We don’t usually leave reviews like this but when you pay good money once a year the room should be in better condition. Good things were staff were all extremely nice, elevator wait time was reasonable, pools were good and unfortunately lazy river was closed during our stay but opened the day we left, nice access to beach with hose and area to wash sand off, drinks in the pool area were really yummy $9-$11 for 16oz and $18 for 22oz bucket, pier and sky wheel were within walking distance, and of course the beach and area was wonderful!

We're glad the location of our home served you well and that you thought the beach was wonderful! Additionally, we appreciate you letting us know you found the staff members nice and that you enjoyed the pools. That said, we apologize for the issues you encountered that kept you from fully enjoying your stay. Our local manager assured us that the dishwasher has all four wheels, the microwave is in good working order and the fan works but the light bulb was out and it has been replaced. They also replaced the hair dryer and added a trash can to the primary bathroom and a dustpan. Maintenance has been scheduled to inspect the toilet and housekeeping tasked with checking the mattress cover and replacing it as needed. The kitchen inventory will be checked and specified items that are not on hand will be added. Please know that you could have reported your concerns during your visit as many of them could have been remedied. Guests can call or go to the front desk and the team will do everything they can to make their stay enjoyable. We hope you will give us another opportunity to provide you with a much-improved experience in the future.

The resort was decent and somewhat clean, obviously the housekeeping is left up to you unless you request it due to the lack of workers or Covid. Very convenient parking on the same side as the resort with the multi level parking garage, however it does need updating to the halls leading up to the rooms. Great views from the balcony which was oceanfront. Plenty of room in this suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Awesome experience

It was all that we expected. The ocean view awesome. Rooms large, beds comfortable, I will recommend Camelot to family and friends and plan on returning next year. Loved the Lazy River, kiddie pool, hot tubs and indoor swimming pool.
