The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

THINGS TO KNOW
All Oceana Resort properties are equipped with one or more rental boxes. Our guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation, and additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites.This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Room was clean. Location is great. Second time staying in this facility. Only thing is the knob in shower falls off and have to push fridge close because is too close to wall and it catches when closing.

Overall good stay

We had an overall good stay here the only issue was when we first got there and into our room, the next time we went to get into our room the door code locked us out and we needed to get maintenance, but luckily she just needed to reset the code and give us a new one and we had no issues with it the rest of the stay.

Ocean park resort amazing but room needs fixing

I loved the resort location. Staff Ex specially the furrology salon for pets the people there were absolutely amazing. Very kind and did a wonderful spa session on our pups

Definitely returning

Great spacious room with a gorgeous balcony view of the ocean. We loved having the kitchenette stocked with the dishes me needed, dish towels, paper towels, dish soap, & toaster. Made eating in very simple. Saved money on ordering out. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The place next door is pretty sketchy with night owl people but we felt pretty safe knowing there was security in the resort and beach patrol rolling around on the beach. I do wish there was a later checkout than 2pm. Our flight was not leaving Myrtle Beach until 630pm. So my daughter and I had no where to go with our luggage except the airport for 4 hours. Other than that, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning.

Thanks for the stay.

The staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful. I stayed 2 nights at a different hotel and I was absolutely horrified. Needed to stay longer, and ended up at this hotel as I did not want to stay another night at the other. I couldn't of been happier with the switch. The staff went out of their way more than once to accommodate me and my mom. We was there because of a family emergency and even though we was in a stressful situation, the hotel and staff was the silver lining. Thank you. It was a pleasure.

Great place if you travel with your pup

Perfect setup for dog owners. Place has it own dog park that gets daily attention and access to beach during times the city allows dogs, great human areas too. They spend the time to clean facilities all day, but you can’t expect them to not require you to be a good dog person.

Pictures are misleading.

The pictures are dated. The rooms have definitely seen better days. One of our beds had a busted box spring so my daughter slept basically in a hole for a week. Bathrooms not the greatest. Elevators are extremely slow. Outdoor hot tub was not hot. For three straight days our room smelled like marijuana from everyone around us smoking. I didn't see the pools cleaned or shocked once in a week there was a sunscreen film floating everywhere. I will say the staff was amazing and courteous though. He staff was literally the best part about the condo. Myrtle beach is not for me

I’m 90% unhappy with my stay.

My room was somehow accessed and then room door left wide open. Literally as far open as it could be. I was walking my dog at the time and my son was on the balcony, so he didn’t hear anything. None of my stuff was taken. I told front desk, they changed the lock, but didn’t seem too concerned otherwise. A housekeeper stop my elevator from closing as my son and I were going up. Then proceeded to mop the elevator floor, including asking us to move. My room floors were so dirty, my sons feet were black. The dish rack was dirty. I just laid the dishes on a hand towel from the bathroom to dry. I dropped some medication on the floor in the bathroom, it rolled under the bathroom sink and I had to throw it out because it was VERY dirty under there. A broom or dust mop could easily fit under there. Garbage can doesn't seem to be washed out regularly.

Beach stay

A decent hotel. Starting to get pretty out dated. Elevators are horrible. But I do like the fact you can take the dogs if you have some.

Ocean Park resort

This property is very old and run down. The room is very old and run down. Kitchen sink was so slow to drain. Too many animals. Should have certain floors designated for animals. Loud music being played out of first floor room by the pool by the guests who were swimming. Was never asked to turn it down. Families left the pool. The room keys stopped working twice. Located next to two public beach accesses. Beach was extremely crowded. I will say the staff was very nice and did respond to fix our key issues. The room was clean. That was the only good thing about our stay.

I stayed Friday to Sunday. The hotel was pretty well taken care of and not a terrible place to stay. Great view, pools where nice, staff was great. They charged me for a full day Friday but I could not check in till 4pm. I was charged a full day Sunday and had to leave at 10am. Only one elevator was working so wife, 2 kids, and me used the stairs 90% of the time to the 6th floor because the elevators where always packed. That includes our luggage too, not a terrible thing because Myrtle Beach restaurants load you up with food. We travel a lot so I guess I judge places but not a bad spot and it was a busy weekend due to the country music festival so places to book where extremely limited.
