Beautiful and quiet setting

The cabin was wonderful. Very comfortable. The setting is beautiful with an extra surprise of deer feeding every morning. About a 10 minute drive to Fredericksburg. We enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend

Secluded but close to the fun! Very relaxing

Very secluded but within minutes of town. Hummingbirds were everywhere! We also enjoyed watching the deer, squirrel, a turkey, jack rabbits and regular rabbits. The cabin was cozy but did lack a few things we could have used. The bed was comfy and the hot tub was great for my aching joints.

Anniversary weekend getaway

We love the property and cabin. Outside of town but close enough to drive back and forth as we wanted. Super peaceful! Our code didn’t work to open the door and we didn’t arrive until after hours so that was no good but we finally got the right person on the phone after several tries and they reset the code remotely. She was helpful and very apologetic. We tested out the hot tub while waiting and it didn’t ruin our stay! We will be back for sure!!!!

Love Appian Way

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been staying at the Tuscan, Provence and Oliva Appian Way cottages for years now. They are beautiful inside and out. The porch is wonderful as we watch lots of different birds especially Hummingbirds at their feeders. We see deer all sizes from spotted fawn to bucks with racks of horns, bunnies and turkeys. It’s so peaceful to wake up to see 12 deer and hear the birds. The views are spectacular. We’ll be back for sure. We go 2-3 times a year. It’s our place.

Where the Deer and the Antelope Play

We enjoyed our stay very much. The secluded location was just minutes from town, but felt very private and remote. The deer fed right in front of our porch each morning as we sat there and drank our coffee. Very peaceful and quiet. We loved watching the turkeys sneak in while the deer fed. We also encountered a few antelope during our stay. The cabin was just right. The keyless entry was perfect and allowed us to skip a stop both arriving and leaving. The bed was really hard, as we read in other reviews— that should be addressed. All in all the accommodations were lovely and just what we were looking for. Thanks!!

The house has abundant wildlife and I enjoyed starting the day sipping coffee and watching the deer and birds. The house is well appointed with all the items you many need while there. We did not cook, but if we had the kitchen is perfect for what you need.

Perfect getaway

This place is just what we needed. Sitting on the front porch we seen plenty of wildlife wondering around. It was nice just to relax and soak of the quietness. The hot tub was the perfect way to end our evenings. Everything was just perfect.

Anniversary getaway

My wife and enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was clean and secluded. We really enjoyed watching the deer, armadillos, and birds. Can’t wait to come back.

Loved it!

I think the best part about the stay was that the hot tub was already ready and bubbling for us! If course the place was great, cozy, amazing location, clean, you name it. I think there is a lot of value in booking this cottage!
