Two bedroom home with sleeper sofa in the Living Room. This is a brand new private mountain home close to town. This home is located at the base of Cedar Mountain, with hiking available right outside your front door! For the experienced hiker, a hike to "The Crater" is a must! The views will provide you with awe inspiring photo opportunities. Don't be surprised if local wildlife stop by for an occasional visit. Come enjoy this out of town, yet close to town, relaxing home. (Note: garage is not available to renters)

AMAZING!

Greg and Tammy are wonderful! The house is remarkable and had everything we needed and more! My sons enjoyed fishing the creek and enjoying the property! The house is so close to restaurants, Beartooth Pass, and Yellowstone! Moe was an added bonus as were the neighbor’s dogsWe hope to be back!

We had such a wonderful time. Greg and Tammy have an immaculate home that has the most beautiful details. It was incredibly quiet and had everything we needed. Perfect stay for after a long day at Yellowstone. We spent two whole days doing activities in Cody as well. The Cody Cattle Company dinner and show was awesome. We loved every minute of our stay!

Great stay

The house and property were fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. It had everything we needed. Greg and Tammy were very friendly and helpful. If we are back in Cody we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

Awesome house!!

I have to say we absolutely love this home. The house itself was very clean and very nice. The location was great. It made for a Wonderful three days. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave.!! Tammy was very sweet and very helpful with things to do! I definitely will be coming back..

Wonderful

We traveled into Yellowstone each day of our stay but loved coming back to a nice cozy home each night. It was clean and very well stocked! Having the washer and dryer available with children was wonderful. The outdoor seating was comfortable to enjoy a beautiful view!

Mini vacation getaway

Place is beautiful! 4 of us stayed here for 3 nights and loved every bit of it. 10-15 minutes from town. Really peaceful and quiet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend anybody to stay here.

Excellent location

We really enjoyed this house. It’s a few minutes down the road from town. Beautiful view off the front porch. The inside is modern, clean and decorated nicely.

Absolutely Gorgeous Home!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Carter Vista in Cody, Wyoming at the end of August. We were so happy with the home and accommodations. Greg and Tammy truly thought of everything with this lovely property and my family felt so at home for our entire stay. The kitchen was beautiful and so well appointed! The views from the property were amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed drinking our morning cup of coffee on the front porch. The beds were soft, and the bedrooms were welcoming. We all slept so well! The home was so clean and just absolutely perfect. We truly hope to come back and stay again next year! Thank you for making our time in Cody so wonderful!

Perfect vacation home!

We came to Cody for a family vacation over the 4th of July. This was the PERFECT place to stay, a short drive to all the action in town, but nice and quiet and secluded to have some quiet time! Tammy was so helpful with all of her travel tips, and the house had absolutely everything you could ever need. We will be back to this rental!

Wonderful Relaxing Time

We loved this property. The only bad thing is we didn't have more time to spend at the property itself. It was so peaceful being surrounded by mountains and wildlife. The property itself was everything as promised....and Cody Wyoming is such a cute town with plenty to do. This VRBO would be highly recommended by us!

Exceptional

This home was nearly all-inclusive! I wish more places were like this. The hosts literally considered every item imaginable that you could ever need. We traveled all over Wyoming and this was the only place felt like home. The hike up to the Crater on the mountain behind the house is difficult, but well worth seeing the phenomenal structure and views. Because of the convenient location the drive to the airport was quick at 5 am.

FABULOUS home with mountain views!

All I can say is WOW!!! It is the most beautiful home, and has the most spectacular mountain views of Carter Mountain in Wyoming. Our family stayed here for 9 days. The owners provided everything we needed to have a comfortable and relaxing vacation. They have gone above and beyond our expectations of any VRBO that we have ever stayed at. Laundry detergent, soap, paper towels, toilet paper, extra toothbrushes, and even Q-tips were stocked in case you forgot to bring some with you! They even have a cooler and picnic basket for you to use on your outdoor adventures to Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons. The East Entrance to Yellowstone is 52 miles away and the drive there is breathtaking. Carter Vista is about 5 miles outside of Cody. It's close enough to town yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed watching wildlife from the front porch and hearing the birds singing in the morning. The owners live nearby and gave us great tips on places to eat and things to see and do around the area. If we could give this home a 100 we would! It was perfect!

Carter Vista is a wonderful place

Carter Vista location is very private yet close to everything, Yellowstone, downtown Cody, the Cody museum and much more. The home has a very interesting history, is well stocked, great views and your own private crater mountain, you can hike up if you are feeling adventurous. The night sky is glorious, Milky Way, Big Dipper. Tammy and Greg are great hosts, informative of activities you can attend in Cody. This is a great place, you will not be disappointed and you may not want to leave. 5 +++ stars

Beautiful home and very clean. Loved being in open spaces to see the stars.

Reading about the history of the land and actually having space to hike and walk was amazing. Tammy and her husband are so easy to communicate with. They take great pride in making everything perfect. The house is not only a beautiful environment it is very clean. If anyone is staying or just spending a few nights on Cody Wyoming don’t miss this house!!!

Amazing Stay

Wonderful stay and great WiFi

This place had it all. When staying in other places, we've always found something the house was lacking, but not this place. The owners have thought of everything. The internet is great (conducted multiple simultaneous video conferences, etc.) so working from here is not a problem. The house was immaculate and the owners (who live not far away) were very responsive and friendly, as was their dog. I'd stay here again and recommend this place in a moment. The valley just past the house is breathtaking and pictures don't do it justice.
