Wonderful Family Stay for some Fun in the Sun

We thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay at Private Paradise! Everything was neat and clean and as advertised. Beds were comfy. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Communications with the owners were outstanding (we had lots of questions since this was our first visit to the area). We thought the location was perfect - very quiet and peaceful and a short easy drive to all the Key West touristy things. The peacefulness is interrupted occasionally by the aircraft from the nearby naval air base, but we considered that a bonus and loved watching the planes fly over. We'd definitely like to return!

Peaceful Paradise

My husband and I and our little mini weiner dog Bodie Boy had the most amazing vacation at this house. It is so peaceful and picturesque its clean and has everything you need if you forgot to bring something. If i could give ten stars i would!! Thank you for having us!ad the most amazing time

Great Summer Vacation

We had an amazing time here and definitely a 10 out of 10 for the house. It was a great location to have the best of both worlds for peace and quiet and close enough to Uber to Duval St. for some party time. We loved being on the canal for swimming and fishing. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your piece of heaven!

Family Stay

Love this house! So clean and well located for all kinds of adventures in the Florida Keys. Close enough to Key West to enjoy everything it has to offer but so nice to be able to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet. Walking distance to Fish Camp - great little open air place right on the water. Great fun.

Secluded Slice of Paradise

This was one of the best rentals our group has ever experienced! We had a group of 7 and we were all comfortable and able to space out. The outdoor space was amazing and was a catalyst for long lasting memories. The hosts were very helpful and provided a warm home away from home. I would highly suggest this stay if you are looking to either unwind with friends or family or want to venture out to experience all that Key West has to offer.

Sunset Hideaway

We had very relaxing two weeks in this house. The location is almost perfect. Very private but close enough to Key West. We heard the jets from the nearby airbase but outside of a morning and afternoon time window it was very quiet. We will miss the cozy reading at the dock or the dinners with the beautiful sunset.

This was the perfect place for our long overdue family vacation!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We had everything here to relax, swim, work out, fish and kayak! It was so much fun, there was something for everyone to do. The little touches were the best! Locally made soaps, lotions and bath bombs just to name a few. It was the best!!! We hope to return when we can!!!

Wonderful Thanksgiving!

We had a great time at your home. It was so nice to bring our extended family together for Thanksgiving in such a warm and inviting home. We had everything we needed to host a traditional meal. We cooled off in the "moon pool" area and the sunsets were gorgeous on the upstairs deck. It was a bonus the last day to watch the test flights overhead from the base. Thank you!

Extremely happy!

My family and I had the most amazing experience during our stay here. There is absolutely nothing more that I could have asked for. We had privacy like I've never experienced on any other vacation, the house is clean and inviting, and our Host was extremely easy to work with. Excellent example of rustic Florida in a refined setting

Excellent location for most things in and around Key West. Within a short Uber or Lyft ride as well, when necessary. Geiger Key fish camp is a great place to walk to from the property for drinks, food or takeout food. The house is great, and the canal provides constant entertainment and your own salt water aquarium and bird and iguana spotting. The Naval Air Station provides regular jet and plane spotting as well. We utilized all decks, shady spots and the firepit. The hosts were responsive and attentive. Could not have asked for a better time here.

GREAT location!!!

Large, nicely furnished home on very large lot with no neighbors. Backyard opens to a canal loaded with a variety of fish (surprisingly hard to catch 😁). Fantastic location with only a 10 minute drive into Key West. Lots of great eating places to choose from. If you’re a fisherman and get frustrated with the skittish fish in the canal, there are lots of charters to pick from. We did 2 half day trips and caught plenty of keepers. Depending on the wind direction, you may see (and hear) a variety of US Navy fighters taking off and landing from the naval base. Highly recommend this beautiful place!!!

Amazing and perfect!

We loved the looks of this place from the start. It was above our expectations on arrival. Super clean, very cozy, and the gorgeous light coming in. Gorgeous views, private location and easily accessible to food and fun. Carolina is a very responsive host. Perfectly clear communication both before during and after our stay. The house had all amenities we needed. Our party of 7, mostly adults were able to press out and have our own space. The outside spaces were incredibly comfortable and we enjoyed every minute out there. The home is located just a short walk away from the marina where we enjoyed the kayaking, food, and live music. The jets flying over are loud, of course as expected, but they were extremely cool to witness. Being just a short drive to Key West was perfect. We would highly recommend this place to stay for anyone wanting to stay near Key West but not in the busy town with all the crowds. We will definitely be booking this beautiful spot again if we return to Key West.

Amazing property

Want your own piece of paradise, without any neighbors? This is it. This is the only house in the entire neighborhood! The other lots were never developed, as they were bought by the Air Force and left to return to nature. There are definitely a good number of fly-overs from the nearby base, but not so many as to be annoying. It’s really neat to see the planes up close. If you want an even closer look, bring along a paddle board or kayak (we bought inexpensive blowup kayaks off of Amazon; they worked great). You can easily paddle through the canals and inner waterways. We saw nurse sharks, crabs, jelly fish, horseshoe crabs, and lots of small fish. We even made it through the mangroves next to the base out to the ocean. The house is spacious and there is a lot of outdoor space in which to relax. The owners were very helpful and responsive. We would definitely rent again.

Geiger Key Paradise

We have the pleasure of staying at this VRBO for almost two weeks in July 2023. We had a family reunion in the Florida Keys and could not have picked a better place!! We had ages of 9yo to 73yo with 8 people total. The place is private, quiet with lots of things to see and do on the property. The place is well air conditioned, open and comfortably fit us all. The kitchen was well supplied and we cooked dinner every night without any problems. Beds are comfortable with plenty of linens and towels. The sunsets are beautiful on the upper back porch!! The house has a private canal which we loved to swim in, rented paddleboards/kayaks and loved going into the bay at night to see the bioluminescence. Plenty of room for yard games. I will say that the canal does have jellyfish but the sting was only mild and short lived, it didn't deter us from swimming. There is an outdoor shower to rinse in and hose to rinse off gear. There are iguanas and other wildlife that we enjoyed seeing on the property, especially in the mornings. This place is near the naval station with aircraft that intermittently fly overhead. It was not a nuisance and I found it quite cool to see them fly! At most the aircraft flew over twice a day, earliest 7am and latest mid afternoon. Key West airport is 20 min away and Key West attractions at most 20-30 min away. Host are great and easy to communicate with. Hands down I would stay here again without hesitation.

Awesome place!! Five stars!

Excellent gated private property with all the amenities you can think of. No neighbors with the most beautiful sunset views from the upstairs deck. Tons of colorful fish in the moon pool and canal that beg for food. We also enjoyed kayaking out in the bay seeing lobster, starfish and crabs. All around a great place and would love to stay again. Short distance from Geiger Key Marina is highly recommended. Very nice and responsive host!

The privacy of the house was great

We loved the location, we felt like we were in the middle of the naval air station. Moon pool and canal was one of our favorites. Restutant/marina were two minutes away and good food. Our host were very helpful and stayed in touch to make sure we were doing good . Wanted to rent again for 2023 but it had already rented

Amazing Location

We had an amazing time with our daughter and our close friends! This property has everything you need to have a great time! We had beautiful sunsets and just enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night with the breeze. We enjoyed drinking our coffee in the morning on the upper deck and watching the marine life around us. If you are looking for somewhere to relax this is your spot! There is a great marina just around the corner called Geiger Key Marina. They have great food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back!!
