Property has a great vibe. Fantastic view if the ocean. The suite was in great condition, although not new. Has everything that one needs for a comfortable long stay. Excellent gym. Right on the beach. Friendly staff. Several fantastic restaurants within walking distance. We'll definitely be back. Minor downside: you can still hear noise from the club during the day, but the area is quite at night.

Return Stay

This is our second stay at this unit with our 2 kids. This unit has a great view and plenty of space. We love the Bentley, it's an older, smaller property but the location is elite.

Magnificent view

Although the windows don't open for safety reasons, the view of the ocean, beach, and even cruise ships leaving port, are magnificent.If you want quiet and far from the crowds, the property is located at the tail end of South Beach. However, the outdoor restaurants you frequently see advertised are above 5th Street.The kitchen is quite small with little space for food preparation. There is no oven, but the microwave should handle most needs.The unit is spacious and will quite easily accommodate several people. Your host is attentive to all your needs and concerns, and will respond quickly to any inquiry.

Terrific condo at the Hilton Bentley

We’ve stayed at the Hilton Bentley for the past several years and this is definitely one of the best units. Kamran was a great communicator and resolved our one small bedding issue quickly. Look forward to coming back.

Great location

Overall this is an excellent place to stay and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Everything we needed was within walking distance and the beach was beautiful and not overcrowded. The reason for the 4 star would be because upon entering the room there would be an off putting odor. Possibly from another unit cooking something but not sure. The parking is expensive at $40 and there is public parking next door however you can not park in the public parking area overnight or you will be towed. At least that is what we were told by the hotel staff. There are also some private units that come with complimentary parking.

War between Hotel and Condo

with you in the middle. No beach towels, no sheets. Kitchen missing many needed items - e.g. just 2 spoons, no pots, coffee filters, etc.. No fresh air - ever - is possible, because the noisy AC just recirculates. Tepid spa/exercise room is the only hotel amenity included, this is useful because you can get beach towels there. Unfriendly staff - they know you're not a guest. Unfriendly valet, ditto. Only ~$100 cheaper than the hotel room and you get parking plus lots of extras.

Nice Condo in South Beach

Apartment is in an excellent location within the Hilton Bentley Hotel in the quiet part of South Beach. Property is ideal for a couple. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants including a Starbucks (one block away). You can see the cruise ships from the apartment as they leave port. Check-in process was a little cumbersome because the hotel clerk asked the name of the property owner and that was not provided in the reservation email. Other than that, everything else was fine. You have access to all hotel amenities. I liked the fact that there were two beach chairs in the apartment so you could take that to the beach and avoid paying rental fees.

Needs some tlc

Shower had mold, hair dryer didn’t work, check in process not very polite, no Kleenex. View of South Pointe, amazing. Bed was fine. Kitchen was tiny, ice maker didn’t work. Location to downtown perfect.

The Perfect Compromise

We have stayed at the Hilton Bentley Hotel in previous years. The hotel seems overpriced but, for us, a staid married couple in our 70’s, it’s all about the location. It’s pretty much the only beachfront hotel south of Fifth St. (Sofi) where the scene is much more civilized than Ocean St. north of Fifth. So this lovely privately-owned suite on the 8th floor of the same facility was perfect for our two-week stay. By renting privately and sacrificing just a few of the hotel’s services and amenities, we were able to save quite a bit. The hotel staff, though not beholden to us, were very pleasant and professional. The wifi really is a bit sketchy, so if you want to stream movies or work uninterrupted, Hilton offers a $14 p.d. wifi upgrade. And although we were disappointed that this unit lacks a balcony and the windows are screwed shut, we were able to find fresh air and tranquility on the 4th floor spa area where there are chaises and usually very few people. But this is not to minimize the fact that this suite has a wonderful view of the beach. Sitting by the window sipping our morning coffee while watching surfers and the joggers on the beach walk is beyond pleasant. Since we were staying for 14 nights, I was concerned about how we would have fresh towels etc. No worries—There is a self service laundry on the second floor available for all guests’ convenience. On the 4th floor we had the use of a perfectly adequate gym. And as for this unit, rented from a private individual owner, we were pleased and impressed to find that it was in pristine condition. The suite must have been very recently repainted and the elegant furniture all looks brand new. (Hopefully it won’t soon be scuffed up by careless families with rambunctious children, the likes of which we curmudgeons noticed daily at the pool 😉). The minimal kitchen area and the very basic utensils suited our lifestyle just fine. There is a full size fridge, a basic coffee maker, an ice cream scoop and a corkscrew. That’s all we needed…..(Although I did have to buy a sharp knife). Joe’s Stone Crab TakeAway is right around the corner so it’s easy to order-in and then eat at the dining table while watching the cruise ships depart. Santorini downstairs is a very good restaurant located around the pool area. All in all, I will give this vacation/rental experience a 5-star review!

Great Spot, good location

Good spot for Miami Beach. Great space, clean w/ hotel amenities. Only downside for some is the Nikki beach restaurant next door. Expect house music early to late. Didnt bother me much as I was exhausted every night but if you are noise sensitive when sleeping be aware weekends might be noisy. (But that's anywhere in Miami Beach)

It was perfect!

The property was amazing we loved it so much, I think we found our destination spot for south Florida! Thanks to our Host, you were very easy to work with and answered all my questions. But for those of you that like balcony, this one doesn’t have one. However, the floor was completely quite, we still had a big open view to the ocean! The staff and bell hoppers were outstanding with accommodating valet parking! Carrying our luggage ect. We really felt loved there! To top it off we got engaged! So our entire stay is remarkable!

Pics not accurate. Unit is a little rough inside. Good location.

Furniture and property lobby are not the same as the photos. You will be treated second class because you are not a hotel guest. Check-in was complicated. The bed was comfortable. The AC was cold but makes a loud bang every time it comes on. Great location. Overall it's decent. But it's rough and ready. You'll see if you rent it.

Great location!

This was our first experience with renting a property via VRBO. Loved that we could get into a property we liked for a fraction of the cost that the hotel would charge for a similar unit. This 1BR unit was a great size for our family of 3. Having the kitchen was nice, as it allowed us to eat breakfast and lunch at "home" rather than going out. I'm guessing they can't put a real oven in the kitchen, so that was the only thing we missed (had pizza that we would have liked to warm up that way). Location was perfect at the south end of Miami Beach, away from a lot of the noisy/rowdy crowds, and within walking distance of many restaurants and other attractions. View from the windows was great--we could see the beach and the pier at South Point. Got to watch the ships go in and out, and caught part of the airshow (Memorial weekend) from our room. Apartment was furnished better than the online pictures indicated. Our son slept on the couch; we just put some sheets on the couch itself and never pulled out the hideaway bed. Will definitely look to go back in the future. Great value and perfect location.
