The Rustic Rectangle

At the RR your close to it all (5-15 by car ) to hartwell lake, tiger town, Clemson university, shopping, restaurants , sunset views etc. Waiting for you back at the space is 1 bedroom featuring a full size bed, 1 bathroom fully stocked, small kitchen w/ pots+pans and a cozy living space with games, dvds, fireplace and tv provided. Outside, Enjoy the hot tub, outdoor games, a fire or an afternoon grill out on the porch along w/ a bbq grill. Kayaks+corn hole boards are available upon request.
The space
You are equipped with all your essentials here at the rustic rectangle . If you need to do laundry there is a close by laundry mat up the rd right in downtown Pendleton.

In the living area you are provided a drop leaf bar top for your work, or eating convenience, just pull up and it’ll lock, when letting back down there are four leavers to unlock below. The couch let’s down to an xl twin to allow for more sleeping and use for seating at the bar, (please pickup to move rather than dragging)..

In the kitchen you’ll find your paper towels/or Kitchen towels, salt, pepper, sugar, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, pots (specific for induction cook top), coffee and kureig coffee maker, microwave along with a toaster oven which can air fry, toast , bake and and more in the labeled cabinets. The stove top is an induction cooktop and the pots provided under the stove are required for it to work efficiently and properly .(they must be on the stove top prior to turning it on for them to heat, then just turn on and use as normal). Unfortunately there is no oven , but we do also provide two grills for your convenience outdoors.

Make your way to the bathroom and it’s supplied with towels, razors, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, hair brush, body wash and more for your convenience.

In the bedroom you’ll find a full/queen bed, closet with hangers and two shelves for your suitcases or other items , there is also one open storage space under the bed for additional space .

If using kayaks please use at own risk and expect to bring transportation that will accommodate the two single, standard sized kayaks, straps are provided for use ( located in the deck box on the porch), lake is not in walking distance, but short ride up the rd to both leisure and sunset areas.

There is a bbq grill for guests use, when finished with it we ask that you please clean it to the best of your ability:) and enjoy

When using hot tub PLEASE USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. FOR STAYS LONGER THAN 4 NIGHTS THE HOT TUB WILL NEED TO BE CLEANED during your stay to insure filters are clear and waters stays clean. (I will be happy to do so without bothering you , and I’ll mention this in your welcome message day of arrival) There are chemicals used to keep water clean we will not be held liable for burns or skin irritation. DO NOT FOR ANY REASON TURN POWER OFF OR HEATED FEATURE OFF UNLESS INCASE OF EMERGENCY . WHEN NOT IN USE PLEASE PLACE LID BACK ON AND CLIP LID TO SEAL. We want to insure it stays clean and warm for next guests use .

WHEN PETS ARE AT THE SPACE PLEASE USE PROVIDED PURPLE TOWELS TO WIPE ANY PET PAWS IF NEEDED. DO NOT USE BATHTOWELS, HAND TOWELS RAGS FOR PETS, BLANKETS OR PILLOWS. IF YOUR PETS REQUIRE ANY BEDDING OR PILLOWS PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR OWN.

A $55 PET CLEANING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL GUESTS WITH PETS, this should automatically be factored in at time of booking if added into booking, if not and we see/hear a pet was brought we will assume you missed this detail and will charge you.

There are SECURITY CAMERAS outside every corner of the home, the hot tub is in coverage view of two of them, they do not pick up any sound. For your safety and the safety of others there is a monitor located in the bedroom for guests to view footage. Cameras do not pick up sound you can turn that off at anytime .

Guest access
Guests have access to entire home space, hot tub, porch. Corn hole boards and kayaks if requested and available .

To use kayaks (please bring transportation to accommodate the one or two single standard sized kayaks . Lakes are not in walking distance but just a short drive up the rd to both leisure and sunset areas . More areas available within farther distance.

BBQ grill provided for guests use as well. Please when finished , clean it to the best of your abilities .
Other things to note
Pets live next door and have an invisible fence. Will bark if they see activity but are harmless.

Although we do allow pets because we know how important they are to our guests we do require a $55 cleaning fee for all dogs on top of our $75 cleaning fee per booking. This should automatically be included into your total if you added a pet at time of booking, if not and see/hear a pet was brought we will assume you missed this detail and will charge you.
