My place is good for couples.Guest house newly remodeled location is between Navarre Beach Bridge an Pensacola Beach bridge. Walking distance to the intercoastal water way an boat ramp.

The space
the fishing is great right down the street

Other things to note
There are Bears Armadillos and possums that come out at night. The bears will not bother u just don’t leave food out for them. Google “ bears in Gulf Breeze” u can read about them

Rick is amazing. Made us feel right at home. The get away cottage is very nice and well kept us. It was just perfect for my wife and I. We came down to Florida for the Blue Angels Beach show and we were not disappointed! We will definitely be back.

Cozy, Peaceful Cottage

Rick's cottage was the perfect place for us to stay while in town for our son's wedding. It was so quiet and peaceful-we slept like babies both nights we were there! Our fur baby was right at home, too. Rick went above and beyond to help us get checked in with time to spare for our the rehearsal dinner. The cottage was clean with a comfortable bed, ample linens, coffee and filters. We would be happy to stay in Rick's cottage again!

5 Stars…High end accommodations.

Everything in this house is high-end. The bed, sofa, kitchen, everything exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay here again in the future. I 100% recommend this property. The location is great, to the north tourist centered Pensacola Beach and to the south local, less populated focused Navarre Beach. Wonderful in every way. I’ve also included a photo of 1 of 3 nice dog parks.

Rick is a fantastic host!

Rick's detached guest house (Rick lives next door) in a very quiet neighborhood in Gulf Breeze is super nice and comfortable, with both front and back yards fenced (great for our dog) - he made us feel right at home during our stay. The house is furnished with a really nice leather couch (not shown in the photos I saw before our visit) and chair for relaxing after a day at the beach, a large flat screen TV, a California king bed that is super comfortable, upgraded kitchen with custom cabinets, granite countertops, a high-end gas cooktop & oven, walk-in tiled bathroom shower, full-size washer and dryer, and central air. The photos don't show how nice this guest house really is. Rick's also a great source of information about this northwest area of Florida (Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Ft. Walton, Pace, and Milton). He even troubleshooted a problem with my car that happened right after we arrived at his guest house (I thought the problem was going to ruin our whole trip while I waited 2-3 days for a mechanic to fix it). Rick, thanks so much, my friend!

Felt like home

This was our second rear in a row to stay at this place. We loved it so much we booked it again. If we come back next year we will stay here again. Rick was amazing. He was right there if you needed him. The house was amazing. I will recommend him to everyone.

Loved it!

Perfect little hidden gem. Place was perfect. Fenced in yard. Perfect Location. Close to the water. Rick was very helpful and helped us find what we needed. Great great place. Absolutely recommend you book this cottage.

The pictures of this property dont do it justice. It is absolutely immaculate. The owner Rick is extremely nice and very helpful. I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you for making our stay a great one Rick.

Rest and recharge

Needed a get away to get some rest and get recharged. We have a 10 year old GSD and want a place that had a fenced in area. Perfect location , in the middle of both bridges. Perfect for us. Rick was a super host! Highly recommend.

Great Time in Gulf Breeze

Rick's property is a cozy detached house in the center of the Pensacola area. We enjoyed our trips out to Pensacola beach, the local restaurants, and the relaxing times we had at the house at the end of every day.

We will be back!

This place is perfect for us! My husband and I stayed with our Frenchie. Full kitchen. Washer/dryer. Clean! Mr. Vargas was more than wonderful from the get go. He gave us advice, checked on us during our stay, and was extremely helpful. This will be be our go to from now on. Right in the middle of everything.

Paws in the sand

Rick was an excellent host. He has two wonderful dogs, George and Artemis, who played with our dog. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. He even gave us food when we hadn’t been to the store yet. There was a nice wildlife refuge that we took the dog to almost daily. Great vacation house!

What a beautiful place to stay. Felt like we were royalty. Rick was amazing. He answered every question and gave us tips on where to eat. We will stay there again. My dog had a great time too. Nice fenced yard for him to run in.

House with yard for fur babies, situated half way between Navarre and Pensacola

Rick is a wonderful host. He responded quickly when I messaged him. His house is spacious and beautifully decorated. Rick left everything that we needed to cook and clean and to be comfortable. The washer and dryer are huge! There’s a good sized yard for your fur babies to stretch their legs. The yard was well maintained and a sprinkler system keeps it plush and green. Rick is on the property and was quick to offer his grill and even let us use his charcoal so we wouldn’t have to buy a big bag for one use. His house is situated almost right in the middle between Navarre and Pensacola, so it was easy to get to both within 20 minutes. He has other properties too but this one served our needs well. We will definitely be back!

Dog Approved: Perfect Getaway Cottage!

I stayed two weeks here with my pup, and I loved every second of it! Rick was an awesome host who made sure that I had everything that I would need, and he was always super helpful!! When I think of a perfect host, Rick will now come to mind! I telecommuted while here, and I had excellent internet service to get my work done. The fenced in yard was definitely a huge benefit for my pup! The neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors were very kind, and I always felt safe here. I definitely will be staying here again and am already planning my next trip!

A home away from home.

Rick is a great host. He met us when we arrived made us feel “Right at home”. This little place is neat and clean, located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Still close enough to Navarre and Pensacola beaches and great restaurants. We will be back.

Great place!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying in the cottage for 4 days. The cottage was very very clean with all the new/ upgraded amenities, and it had every utensil you would normally need for your house. Mr. Rick was very welcoming and always promptly responded to our questions and requests. He gave us excellent tips what to see around too! The beach,the stores, and the restaurants were just 15-20 minutes away, so it was really nice to enjoy the beach and then get the things that we needed for the evening.The place was very quiet, and we always had a good sleep. It really met our every need, and we would really love to stay there during our next visit!

Perfect short term rental

We needed a place for 6-7 weeks while waiting on our house to be finished. This was perfect for my husband and me and had everything one would need for most purposes. Everything else is just a few miles away. Pensacola beach and Navarre beach are both about a 15-20 minute drive, and Gulf Breeze Zoo and the Gulf Breeze Flea Market are just around the the corner. The house has a nice little fenced yard where we could let our dog off leash. Rick was very helpful throughout, and was a gracious, informative and just all-round awesome host.
