My name is Lee Ann and I have owned this beautiful condo at Destin West since 2003. I live in Shalimar and I do all of my own rentals. The condo has new tile throughout as well as new appliances. It looks fabulous and is decorated very tastefully and 'beachy'!! Read on to see some of the great features of my place.

The master bedroom has a large king size bed along with a private bathroom with tub and shower. We also have an enclosed private bunk room with twin bunk beds for the kids! They have their own bathroom with ceramic shower. The den has a nice sleeper sofa which can be used as an extra sleeping area. The unit sleeps 2 adults and 4 children comfortably.

The best part of this location is the million-dollar view. Our perfect spot overlooks the crystal-clear waters of the gulf and bottomless blues of the coastline. You will definitely enjoy the most memorable sunsets of your life looking over our beautiful balcony or see our friendly dolphins playing along shore as you experience an oasis of peace unlike any other. We have worked hard to make sure everything is perfect for the vacation of your dreams.

Rated one of the tops in the U.S. for best vacation spot, Destin West is located in the heart of Okaloosa Island just 3 miles east of Ft. Walton Beach and 3 miles west of Destin. Very nice location with an exceptionally beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico. Stay for a week or ask for specials during winter months.

Rental agreement also gives you access to the resort located directly north of the condo that includes a lazy river pool and other facilities. A walkover has been built that connects the two resorts making it very easy to accommodate your every need safely and efficiently.

You will never have to get back into your car again once you arrive at our resort. Everything is so convenient with the Okaloosa Island Boardwalk within walking distance as well as many excellent restaurants of choice. Some of our favorite restaurants are Floyd's Seafood House, The Crab Trap, Rockin Tacos and Anglers. They are all within walking distance.

The unit was clean and well stocked. It is roomy (there were 3 of us, but it could have housed up to 5 adults fairly comfortably, especially if they were family - more if some guests were children) and has a full size kitchen. The view and access to the beach are both phenomenal. We appreciated the direct check in and check out process. Our host, Lee Anne was gracious, friendly and easy to contact. We hope to stay again soon.

Our family had a wonderful time! The condo was spacious, very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The atmosphere at the complex was very chill. People were friendly. My grandkids met some other kids at the pool and they played together everyday. The lazy river was very relaxing, and we loved the beach service! We started our days off with coffee on the balcony and wrapped them up relaxing in the hot tub. Lee Ann was very responsive and a joy to work with! Hope we'll be back next year!

Everything was lovely, from the minute we walked into a clean, thoughtfully arranged condo and saw the blue ocean and large pool through the balcony doors until we said goodbye to our cozy rooms the last day. Our older children absolutely loved their bunk beds and their own bathroom. I appreciated the nice touches like the hospitality packet in the kitchen and the fresh scent upon arrival. The bed has a very cushy topper as well. We felt right at home. An extra thank you to Lee Ann for the beach chairs and umbrella service as well!

Amazing stay

Everything was amazing. Plenty of room and space for everyone. Everything was clean and well maintained. The location was beautiful. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Made tons of memories with the family. Will come back next year!

Great condo

This was our first trip to the area. We had a great time! The complex is awesome! We loved the condo's location to the beach and gulfside pool. The walk across to the bayside was easy and we enjoyed the lazy river. We loved that it was within walking distance to the boardwalk for dinners. One of our favorite parts of the week was watching the Wednesday night fireworks from the beach. The owner was a great help and very responsive to questions. We would definitely recommend this condo to others.

Great experience!

Lee Ann was fantastic! Very responsive to messages and also very accommodating. The house had everything we needed - even dishwasher pods and washing machine powder. The view from the balcony was perfect, too, which overlooked the pool. It was a perfect place for a beach vacation for our family of 5. Our daughter loved having the bunk room and separate bathroom for herself. Would absolutely recommend, and hope to stay here again in the future!

Great Gulf Side Condo in Destin West

Our family really enjoyed staying at this condo. It’s on 2nd flr and has little view of the Gulf and a big view of the pool area. Great for family of 4 with all the amenities. We really enjoyed the lazy river and water fall that is located on the inland side. Owner was fantastic from start to finish. Would definitely stay again.

Love it!!

We have stayed at the complex many times. This is our first time staying in this condo and it was very clean and well supplied with the stuff you need. The washing machine and dryer were very clean as well. They had everything prepared for our stay. I love the fact that they were just off the elevator so you weren’t constantly walking down long hallways all the time. And they’re not far from the parking garage. It was the perfect location. The condo was decorated very cute. My only four complaints are:1. there wasn’t any Tupperware containers that you could just store leftover food. 2. There is no place to put your groceries. All the cabinets are filled in the kitchen with dishes and there is not a pantry or a cabinet that you could put your food in. So we had a store our groceries on the counter which just ends up getting really cluttered up when you have a family of five. 3. The closet is filled halfway up with cleaning supplies so there’s no place to put your luggage. So we were constantly tripping over suitcases whether you were in the bunk room or in the bedroom.4. The TV in the family room has 6 to 8 remotes with no instructions on how to just watch TV. It took us a while, trying all the remotes and trying to figure out which app to go to, to just watch the TV. The one in the bedroom was perfectly fine. So I guess it really isn’t a problem just annoying.Other than that, the place was an amazing place to stay and I would definitely stay there again.

Picture perfect and great location

Lee Ann was great! Always easy to contact and reply to any concerns. The condo was very clean and the property itself very well maintained. Beautiful views and easy access to pool or beach. Lee Ann had provided samples of dishwasher and laundry detergent and had TP and hand soap in place on arrival which was greatly appreciated. Parking was easily accessible and it was so convenient to have carts at facility entrance next to the elevator to move your luggage in and out. This is also a great location for access to main attractions ( pier and Gulfarium) as well as shopping and restaurants. We will be back! Thanks for an awesome experience!

Loud at times

LeAnn is very responsive. She called to introduce herself and to give me her direct phone number before I arrived since she doesn't use a management company.The condo is centrally located to elevators and stairs on the 2nd floor however, this also causes occasional echoing noise coming in around the door that doesn't seal when closed. I communicated with LeAnn the knives are dull and don't cut, and the double doors to balcony are difficult to open. She said they would remedy, but did not while I was there. The angle view of the ocean is minimal as this condo is set back from beach overlooking the pool/hot tub area, but still a nice view of the area. The lazy river is located at Destin West Bayside across the 3rd floor bridge over Miracle Strip Pkwy. The bed has a thick foam topper that made the bed really soft. There's boogie and skim boards, and pool toys in the bedroom closet. There's a couple pool towels in the hall drawers and a water filter on the kitchen sink. I would stay here again.

I am originally from Alabama but moved to the beautiful gulf coast in 1982. I am a mortgage loan originator in the local Destin area and have been since 1983. I personally do all of my own rentals and am here every week to do the cleaning myself. I make sure my condo is as clean as my own home.
