Hillside Cottage With Panoramic Lake View!

Welcome to our Hillside Cottage, located in La Casa Resort with 180 degree views of Lake Okanagan. The property provides modern designs, high end appliances and open concept living. This 2 bedroom + loft cottage is decorated with your comfort in mind. Including 3 king size memory foam mattresses to ensure a good night’s sleep, a spacious kitchen for those who enjoy cooking and a great backyard to sit back, relax and enjoy the views!

Our main floor living room has a large open concept layout with a 50” smart TV, connected to fast 150mbps fiber optic internet and Wifi that is available throughout the whole house. From the main floor, you will have access to the loft bed, which is ladder access only and the main floor bedroom. There are two bathrooms in the cottage which offer both tub & shower options, as well as our included hotel style toiletries. Downstairs has another bedroom and living area with a large 65” smart TV & a pullout couch bed. This is a great place for kids to hang out while the adults are upstairs. In the closet downstairs we provide a variety of board and card games that you can use for a fun family game night. The cottage has two outdoor spaces. The covered patio where you can lounge around and enjoy the outdoors but be out of the hot sun. Or the upper deck where you can spend time cooking your favourite meal on the bbq and eating outside on the outdoor table. We have recently upgraded our backyard area with some artificial turf. Offering a great place for kids to run around or for some fun outdoor games. We highly recommend getting into a good book & relaxing on one of the two hammocks that we provide for the covered patio. Once the sun goes down and the weather starts to cool, you can fire up either of the two propane fire pits and stare up at the stars!

While being on a resort, our guests will have access to the many amazing amenities that La Casa Lakeside Resort has to offer. Whether you’re looking to slow down and get away from the busy life back home or if you’re on a mission to tackle that next big adventure, La Casa and its surrounding areas are the perfect place for your next vacation! The resort offers 2 swimming pools, 3 hot tubs, mini golf, a playground, volleyball/tennis/pickleball courts, private beach access, fire pits by the water and a boat launch. For your convenience, the upper swimming pool and hot tub are walking distance from our cottage! We also provide a basic set of mini golf clubs + golf balls (set of 4) as well as a set of pickle ball racquets + ball (set of 4). Additional golf putters and balls are provided at the La Casa Market for rental. If you enjoy going for walks and getting out into nature, there are some great trails right behind the resort. La Casa Lakeside Resort also offers Golf Cart, E-Bike, Kayak and SUP board rentals through their website & in person if you’d like to get out on the water or drive around the resort with ease. The most convenient and delicious place to eat is the resort's very own La Casa Market & Kitchen! They offer a wide range of groceries, take & bake items, liquor, fresh coffee, ice cream and is also home to the resort's amazing restaurant. Serving dishes catered to everyone’s tastes. They have their main menu which offers all day breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, wings and small appetizers. But also offer weekly specials! As a bonus, they also offer delivery to the the beach, pool or cottage!

During your stay, we highly recommend getting off the resort for at least 1 or 2 days. We have 2 amazing parks nearby, Fintry Provincial Park (10 mins away) and Bear Creek Provincial Park (25 mins away). If you like having a glass of wine or two we recommend checking out some of the local wineries. There are a few companies that will offer pick up services from La Casa, and will take you out on a wine tour. Or maybe you enjoy getting out into the city, both Kelowna and Vernon are about a 40 mins drive away. While you’re in town maybe you spend a couple hours out on the water with a boat or jet ski rental. Then before heading back, we recommend grabbing a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants. Upon booking our cottage we will provide you with a “Things To Do” booklet to help you plan your stay. We include a variety of different hiking trail options, nearby beaches, excursions, places to eat, golf courses & wineries within the area. Please Note:

- The resort's hot tubs & swimming pools are open seasonally. The lower pool and hot tubs are open from May 1 to Thanksgiving, the upper pool from May 1 to mid September and the upper hot tub from Easter to mid September. The upper hot tub is also open during Remembrance day from Nov 5-14 as well as Christmas Break from Dec 17-Jan 3. (Please note these times may change and are subject to availability)

- Kayak, paddle board, e-bike & golf cart rentals are all booked in person or online at La Casa Lakeside Resorts guest services area or their website. We recommend booking these early when you arrive. Please note that rentals are only open seasonally from May 15 - Sept 15. (Please note these times may change and are subject to availability)

- The activities park is open seasonally from April - Thanksgiving. (Please note these times may change and are subject to availability) Rentals such as pickle ball/tennis sets, mini golf putters, & volleyballs are available in person at La Casa Lakeside Resorts guest services area.

- The aqua park is open seasonally from May long weekend to Sept 15th. (Please note these times may change and are subject to availability) A waiver must be signed prior to use at the strata office or beach area prior to use. Life jackets are required for children 5-12yrs old. La Casa Lakeside Resort does rent them if you do not have your own.

- We highly recommend bringing up all your own food with you. There is a market & restaurant located in La Casa but has limited stock. The nearest grocery store is 40 - 50 mins away in either West Kelowna, Downtown Kelowna, Vernon or Armstrong. You can also order groceries from Save-On-Foods in West Kelowna online and they will deliver it to the cottage for your convenience.

- We highly recommend having a vehicle to get around the resort and to its surrounding areas. The cottage is located at the very top of La Casa up on the hillside. It is a 20 - 30 min walk from our cottage down to the beach or approx a 7min drive. Please keep in mind it is all up hill on the way back. There is parking at the beach/marina but we recommend getting there early to get your spot.

- The loft bed is only accessible via ladder.

- La Casa's private beach is a rocky beach. So we recommend bringing along some water shoes.

- We do not allow any parties, smoking, pets or unauthorized guests on the property. Additional Guests must be approved even if they are just stopping by. For security purposes there are also outdoor cameras located around the property.

- Westside Road is a winding, scenic drive, hugging the shore of Lake Okanagan. Please drive carefully & watch out for wildlife! Big Horn Sheep like to wander this road frequently.

- La Casa only allows 8 persons max per cottage. This includes young children and infants. Please keep this in mind when booking. They are very strict with their overcapacity rules and fine will be given.
