We are extremely happy you enjoyed your stay in our house. It is indeed a good location if you like being on the move. Whenever we have visitors, we take them to the well-known Bruges but we also like to send them to Ghent, another beautiful Flemish town. If you are interested in history, Ieper, with all its reminders of World War I, is a place you should definitely visit. Some of the trenches have been preserved and you can actually walk through some of them. There are also numerous World War I cemeteries and a museum well worth the visit. We are glad you appreciated our comfortable sofas. It is nice to have a place where you can truly relax after a busy day. It is also enjoyable for those who simply like to stay home with a good book, watch TV or sit by the wood stove. We are pleased you were able to eat outside a couple of times. Our garden is very private and a perfect place to relax and to enjoy barbecues and outdoor meals. We hope you come back when the weather is nicer, so you can take full advantage of our lovely backyard.

Cleanliness is very important to us, and your comments will be shared with our cleaning team to ensure our standards continue to be met. That said, we would like to clarify that we deliberately provide a well-equipped kitchen rather than the bare minimum. All dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans are checked on a regular basis. However, inspecting every single item between each rental would significantly increase cleaning time and, consequently, the cleaning fee. We strive to maintain a balance between comfort, practicality, and reasonable costs for our guests. Regarding amenities, only an initial supply is provided at the beginning of each stay. Concerning heating, we would like to clarify that the air conditioning system functions as a heat pump, providing heating during the colder months. In addition, the house is equipped with a wood stove for guests who wish to use additional heating if needed. The heating setup is described in the listing, and we understand that individual comfort expectations can vary, particularly during winter. Finally, we would like to point out that bed sizes are clearly indicated in the initial rental contract and are also visible in the photos published on the rental website, allowing guests to make an informed decision prior to booking.
