Welcome to Cliffside Cottage!!! We have Spectacular Sunsets and Amazing Views! Relax on the deck with a little umbrella drink or enjoy the elevated hot tub. Feel the stress fade away as you let the beauty take you away. Incredible water and mountain views. We enjoy lovely wildlife such as Soaring Eagles, Gray Whales and more! PLEASE NOTE: If you are having an event such as a Wedding, Birthday, or Family gathering please send me an inquiry through the option "ask the owner a question" first.

Lovely property with beautiful view - especially the sunsets. Large kitchen and living area, nice size bedrooms, great backyard deck with hot tub. Close to the hub of Oak Harbor for groceries and restaurants. Not too far from either end of Whidbey Island for exploring, ferries, and other restaurant options. We’d book it again!

Amazing views looking west towards Olympic peninsula, Victoria, and San Juan Islands. Loved the red poppies. Incredible sunsets. Fire pit in back yard made for welcoming gathering place in evening. House is spacious and comfortable. The host was very helpful.

Comfortable beds, excellent views of the Sound, nice touches throughout the home including games, local guide books and binoculars so we could watch for whales. Appreciated that the cabinets in the kitchen were labeled.

This was an absolutely beautiful property. Home was very clean and comfortable. The view was amazing, and we really loved watching the Eagles and Ospreys dancing in the sky just above us and landing in the trees next to us. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and made our anniversary stay very special.We will most certainly be back and will be sure to refer our friends and family as well.Blessings to all…

This house is just wonderful! The views are extraordinary and the house is exceptionally clean. Very comfy beds and the hot tub was great for evenings, outdoors, staring at the lovely water view, and the kitchen is well equipped down to having spices, plastic wrap, foil, rice, utensils, and everything you could need for cooking while on vacation. The drawers and cabinets were all labeled, making everything easy to find and there was a wonderful coffee bar available for mornings. Our host, Dave was over and above what we could’ve asked for. We did have a hiccup with the water heater while we were there, and Dave was on it immediately and stayed late into the evening, making sure that it got fixed. He made every effort to offer us alternative places to stay, including a very nice resort. Unfortunately, there are several personal reasons for us that we need to stay in a house, including my own need to cook meals. We felt that we were his first priority for getting this fixed and still had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend that you choose this home for your visit!

Absolutely beautiful place. The view from the back yard was amazing. We lucked out with the weather so we greatly enjoyed the fire pit in the evening.The kitchen was very well-equipped with everything we needed.I made a stupid mistake in my scheduling, and the owners were very nice about it and went the extra mile to figure things out.

The house is cute, nice fenced yard for our pup, Fynn to chase balls. Beautiful view of Olympic mountains. This is a great location to explore Whidbey Island.

This property exceeded our expectations! We loved the decor and the little details that made the house more cozy. The yard was exactly what we needed for our dog, who is anxious around other dogs. Would love to stay here again.

The view is gorgeous and the house is comfortable but we had some big issues that cannot be ignored. Beware the dangerous step from the porch to the lawn! There was no railing to hold on to and my aunt fell and hurt herself (I already mentioned to the owner how important that is so I hope he adds one quickly).While we were there we tried cooking with the stove but even with a small flame (gas stove, hard to find in WA) it would not get hot enough to even cook eggs. The oven also wouldn’t get up to temperature, even after giving it an hour to preheat. We went to grill instead and it was too dirty for me to feel comfortable using and eating from. We contacted the owner and he came by himself. I had my husband show him the issues while I dealt with feeding our special needs baby, which is a complicated process. I spoke with him after that and he left saying it was fixed (it wasn’t) and the grill was clean (we must just have different opinions on cleanliness). I was a bit surprised that even after seeing the situation with our baby and knowing the cooking issues, the host still charged us an additional 200 because we left 15 minutes after checkout. We crossed paths with the maid for 10 minutes while we were loading the car and she was coming in. Our slightly delayed departure didn’t stop his maid from doing her job and cost the owner nothing. I feel it is unfair on top of the additional food costs we incurred eating out.

This was the perfect base for our family to explore Whidbey. The house was a great setup for our dog, with fenced yards in front and back. Dave made sure we had everything we needed, and the house was very comfortable and well-supplied. Would definitely stay again!

We are very lucky to be able to enjoy this wonderful high bank water front home. From using the hot tub while enjoying the wonderful views to the relaxing home and spaces this is a fantastic get away.
The scenery is incredible with the beautiful Puget Sound Water View and the Olympic Mountains right out our back door. We have several sets of Eagles that live close by and its very neat to be standing at the fence looking down as they fly along the bluff 236 feet above the water. From time to time we see Gray Whales playing below in the water. Its pretty spectacular!
